I spent the winter months (4) here in this quiet neighborhood . Beautiful view of the changing scenery of the Sandia mountains. A herd of 9 mule deer routinely (about 1-2 times a week)marched single file through the rear of the property. A variety of bird life including the quail of the name of the road. The Pinot trail is a 2 mile walk or 2 minute drive away. The Sandia tramway is minutes away by car.

This is our second time at Max's house. We love the location, the openness of the house and the neighborhood. Max was very accommodating. Perfect for our family. We had a great time.

We enjoyed our month stay in this very comfortable, well-stocked home in an established neighborhood. Everything we needed was in a 10 minute drive and we determined that most everything in Albuquerque was only 20 minutes away.
Great hiking and biking (you can hike to the hikes), a lovely view of the mountains, and a family of deer wander through the back alley (not the yard) most mornings and evenings.
Would stay again.

We have been to ABQ numerous times for extended stays and absolutely love this neighborhood in the Sandia foothills, close to hiking, with great views of the mountains out the windows. We stayed for 6 weeks, so several things are very important: the master bed was very comfortable and the showers were plenty hot with great pressure. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, bowl, knives etc you could ever use, and the pantry had plenty of spices and some of the basics, too. Beyond that, the pictures were accurate and tell the story. The living room is plenty big, and that’s where we hung out most of the time. Max was a great host, came over right away to help us when we were figuring out the fireplace (which was great for some chilly February evenings), and was always responsive.

We loved the home and it’s location. For various reasons check in was rocky but Max, the owner, was accessible and addressed every issue completely and quickly! We would definitely stay again!

Hot air balloon bucket list
The property was really well appointed and we adored the setting. Sitting on the back patio and enjoying the wildlife and peaceful surroundings was breathtaking. Thank you for a lovely experience, and a very accommodating house manager - Max!

Our family of 5 stayed a month and could not say enough about the property! The house is well laid out with very comfortable common areas. The rooms were just what we needed and the backyard views are memorable. Most evenings you could see the storms roll in over the mountains and the deer had a well traveled path just outside the back fence which made wildlife sightings very fun. Communication with the house manager was easy. Also, staying in the Heights was the way to go. The views are amazing and the temps are lower with the land about 1000 ft higher in elevation than by the interstate. We already want to return and we just left!

Great location, wonderful view of the Sandia mountains. We really enjoyed the patio in the morning, watching the sun come across Sandia mountain.
Great communication with the owner. We needed pods for the dishwasher, and he dropped some off within an hour or two.
The house itself was nice but not fancy. We did love the gas fireplace. Nice TVs with a good range of streaming accounts active. Bedding was very nice. Bathrooms are adequate but not fancy. Kitchen was decent, including appliances and a Keurig. If you're going to cook, the cookware, knives, etc. were so-so.
All in all, a very good value for the price, awesome location, nice, comfortable place. We'd stay again.

My family and I had a great stay over the President's Day weekend. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and just what we needed, and the location was terrific with wonderful views of the mountains out the large back windows. The property manager was very attentive and prompt in responding to our requests. We got some snow and very cold temperatures and having the fire place was really nice. Would stay again.

Comfortable Mountain View home
This home was a perfect space in the perfect location for enjoying all ABQ and Northern New Mexico has to offer. The home was spacious , clean and well equipped. The patios , front and back, had nice table and chairs for outside dining and morning coffee. The location was so convenient with easy access to I25 and plenty of food and gas options close by.

Beautiful property in a great location.
This was a vacation rental for 5 adults and 2 children. Max and Theresa were very helpful in getting the logistics set up for arrival. They had good documentation for how to check out, too.
The property is in a quiet subdivision in Sandia Heights and was the perfect spot for our family to enjoy Thanksgiving. The views out the backyard of the mountains were fantastic. There were several parks nearby for the kids to play at, and a cute coffee shop within walking distance. Other useful places such as TJ's are just a few minutes down the road by car.
The interior of the house is very well-designed and high quality. We couldn't ask for more, and will definitely try to check in again when we happen to visit ABQ.

Great location. Super nice, clean and quiet neighborhood. Beautiful and comfortable!
This house was an excellent choice for our International Balloon Fiesta trip. 20 min. to airport, 15 min. to Olde Town, 20 min. to balloon fiesta park. Beautifully updated, cozy backyard with great view, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for a group of six. All details were considered and provided. Very accommodating. LOVED it!!

Loved the view of Sandia Mountains from Living Room and Master Bedroom.
Found owners to be very helpful with information about Tram Ride to Sandia Mountains and Balloon Festival, both events were great. Enjoyed back yard privacy with Sandia Mountain View.

Lovely home, fabulous location!
We were so excited to find this lovely home in the Sandia Heights available for our Albuquerque vacation. The views, yards, and patios were fabulous, as was the facility. It was a perfect place for our family, very close to our son's home. The house was clean and beds very comfortable. I do not want to give 4 stars, but I would take off 1/2 star off for fact that some of the dressers, cabinets, and closet doors are rather old and in need of some maintenance, but it really did not detract for the enjoyment of our stay in the house. The neighborhood is very nice too, and is very close to foothill trails and the Tramway that goes up to Sandia Crest. I would love to use this house again if we ever have a need. (BTW - I love Albuquerque! I was actually born there, but until a few years ago I had not been back since I was a child of 6.)

Fabulous view in well-equipped house in a quiet neighborhood!
What a delight to stay here! With the backyard and seating facing the Sandia Mountains it was wonderfully warm in the cool mornings to sit outside and shady in the hot afternoons. Close to Elena Gallegos Park and to other hiking destinations. The kitchen and dining space easily accommodated our family dinner; there were 8 of us gathered from ABQ and out of town. The house was clean, well-decorated, and had clear instructions for WiFi, TV, cable+. In sum, a great place to stay!

Three bedroom cottage in Sandia Heights
Amazing place. Rented it for my parents. We loved the location. Check out o beans coffee just a five min walk. House is in great shape and FULLY stocked with everything you will need.

Great property. Great location. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Well equipped with all we needed for our stay. Nice safe neighborhood. The only problem we had was that the cleaning staff overlooked cleaning the oven from a previous tenants stay. When we turned it on to bake, we discovered greese spills resulting in a smoke filled kitchen. Luckily, we were able to use the microwave instead. We were also short one set of towels, and the owners responded right away dropping them by. Legs on the dining room chairs need to have screws tightened. We were afraid to sit on them as some looked shaky like they might break. Great internet and television options. Overall, a great stay! Loved the area. Would definitely return.
