Private, cedar chalet on the ridge on 20+ acres. Gorgeous view of mountains, sunrise, moonrise. Great hiking on property. Four miles from Cacapon State Park and hiking,18 hole golf, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing. Some of the best fly fishing in the East! Eight miles to town for mineral baths, spa, shopping and dining. 10 miles to C & O Canal Bike Rail Trail. Historic sites and skiing nearby. Walk to creeks.

The house was beautiful with lots of space for the eight of us. The kitchen is well equipped. We especially enjoyed meals on the screen porch, time in the hot tub and star gazing on the deck. Jackie is an excellent host and very responsive

The property has plenty of rooms and beds - was perfect for our group of 12 people. We enjoyed the hot tube, made fire and played endless matches of table tennis. The only downside for us was that some of the beds were not very comfortable and made sound whenever you had to turn.

My family and I spent a lovely week at this property. It was immaculate - well stocked, with several gathering spaces. Any issue was immediately addressed. There is a lot to do in the area, but it was also nice to sit on the porch and read, soak in the hot tub, have a fire in the fire pit and roast marshmallows, or play tennis table or pool.

House was clean and the perfect size for our 3 families. Great location to the downtown area and beautiful State Park. We wished we could have located the on-site fishing spot but had trouble with that. Host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

This is the second year we have stayed here, and once again it did not disappoint. Wonderful location, clean and well equiped. This is the perfect place for a textile art retreat. We just hope we don't get so big we can not return. Thank you Jacki and the work crew.

Very nice home with great space to gather. Close to activities, we did the rails to trails out of Hancock. And had a wonderful dinner in Berkley Springs.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house has great common areas for gathering and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing group meals. The bedrooms were really nice and the insulation between floors was great, too! If you were sleeping in on one level, you couldn't hear the group on another level. The six of us women enjoyed the hot tub and the mountain views and because the place was so remote, we didn't have to worry about all our chatter bothering neighbors - haha. We would definitely love to come back in the spring through fall timeframe to enjoy all the other outside gathering areas.

This was our second stay at Sky Mountain and it was just as great as the first stay! We celebrated Christmas with our daughter, son in law and grands and so much to do to keep little one occupied! The house is warm, comfortable and the communication with Jackie is outstanding! The kitchen had everything you need to cook an entire Christmas dinner and then some! Plenty of room for the family to move around! We love having two fireplaces upstairs and downstairs. If your thinking of booking don’t wait! Super clean and everything worked like a charm. Check in was very easy. We just love sky mountain and the Berkeley Springs area!

First of all the place is Well maintained a great size so that everybody can enjoy themselves without necessarily feeling on top of each other even little details are enjoyed such as a foot rest for a outdoor swinging chair which honestly I had never seen before.
The views are spectacular.
The owner is beyond accommodating. My family and I are not the easiest people to deal with in reference to flexibility and timing as things often come up That can change plans and schedules and the owner was not only willing to help out but seemed happy to do so.
Would recommend to anyone without hesitation whether you have kids or not.

We had a wonderful girls' weekend at Sky Mountain Chalet. It's a great location, and the house is beautifully appointed, with plenty of bedrooms and an open concept allowing for both privacy and conversation. The outdoor fire pit and hot tub are an added bonus. Jackie, the host, was very responsive throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this property!

It was the perfect place for our outdoor loving family and the puzzles and pool table were fun for evenings. Everything was clean and the house was well stocked with everything we needed from towels, bedding and kitchen supplies!

The house is roomy and very comfortably furnished. We stayed with our son, wife and two small children.The hot tub was a really nice plus and stargazing on the deck balcony was perfect. Set in a beautiful location overlooking forests and mountains. Not far from both Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park.

This place had all the things for which we were looking - privacy, quiet, beautiful view, hot tub and nearby activities like hiking, golf, small town and Cacapon State Park. So relaxing. We went in July for my husband's birthday, but I can only imagine how perfect it would be in the fall or any time of the year. WOW!

All the features of this chalet were just perfect for our trip. There were 9 of us and plenty of beds and bathrooms for all. The screened in porch was perfect for board game nights and wine. Then a relaxing time in the hot tub. The extra fridge in lower level came in handy. We thoroughly enjoyed this house and the owner was very accommodating and easy to reach. Highly recommend!

This property was everything it claimed to be and more. We are talking about coming back again. Clean, comfortable, and a beautiful setting.
What I didn't gather from the listing was that in addition to the home being a wonderful place to stay, the town nearby is just lovely! Great restaurants, lovely little shops, live music, vibrant parks, fantastic art festival and flea market. Market. We enjoyed eating out and walking around and taking in the culture of Berkelee springs. This was an added treat for our stay.

My family has been staying at this chalet for years; though our family composition and needs have changed, our love of this destination has not. Jackie remains an incredibly responsive host. Nine to twelve women get together every year for a rug hooking retreat. We all loved the house. The porches were great to sit, chat, snack and work on our hooking rugs. The kitchen was well supplied, all we needed to bring was the food. Plan to return again.

Perfect home to use as a base for exploring Berkeley Springs. The house is large and stocked with all the essentials. Adults particularly loved the screened in patio and the hot tub, while the kids loved the many games, ping pong table, swings, and all the space they could want for exploring. Easy drive to Cacapon and Berkeley Spring parks. Owner is highly responsive and super helpful. Would definitely recommend for a family trip.

Beautiful beautiful place! Loved the ping pong table! It was equipped with almost everything! Seasoning,paper,dishes,cookware,wood, etc! The hot tob was nice & clean with a perfect view of nature! Definitely will be coming back here.

This house was perfect for our family getaway. It's located close to lots of things to do in Berkeley Springs, Cacapon State Park, and Whitetail Resort for skiing. The place was clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the ping pong/billiards table and all the equipment to cook with! Only downside is that the internet/wifi is pretty slow (although it's the fastest available in the area) - only ~2 or so people can use it at one time.

We were headed to Berkeley Springs and we’re to stay in a different VRBO however, due to an ice storm, we lost power at the VRBO and needed to change our destination. This owner was very quick to accommodate us. We loved our stay. The place was clean plenty of room, and the property and views were beautiful. I would recommend an SUV with four-wheel-drive.:).
