About this house rental

This is a large house with 3 double bedrooms. I live in the fourth bedroom also serving as the Office, and I am very happy to welcome groups of 6-8-10 people. My house is located a stone's throw away from Elephant and Castle, one of the most fascinating areas of London, a unique mixture of tradition and innovation, of quaintly old style and modern architecture.

A point of attraction are the street markets. The Elephant market and the East Street market sell all kinds of products at affordable prices.

You will find an amalgamation of high rise and low rise buildings, modern and old, all documenting the story of this amazing city, London.

For those traveling on business, we have the opportunity to arrange parking for your car at a cost of £8 per day.

Elephant and Castle underground station is just 10 minutes away. Iconic places such as London Bridge, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London are only 10 minutes away by tube (underground).

Room 3 sleeps 5 people: 2 on a double bed, 2 on an an air bed and one on a folded single bed. Room 4 accommodates 3 people: 2 on a double bed and one person on a single folded bed. Room 2 located on the ground floor sleeps 2 people in a double bed. We also have a 3 seater sofa in the room suitable for 1 slim person to sleep.

There are 2 bathrooms with showers, toilets and sinks.
I occupy the office on the first floor and will make sure everything runs smoothly and you get all the information you need to make your stay the most enjoyable life experience.

I kindly ask the guests to keep the noise down especially at night. We have a quiet street with wonderful neighbours who would not want to be disturbed.

The pictures of the property on VRBO site were deceiving. When we arrived there, the place was full of clutter, it smelled moldy, there were two students on the very top floor that we did not know about (we thought we had rented the whole house for privacy and security) and as a big group of 11, we were cramped into it. If we had a choice, we would have cancelled on the very first night, and moved to another accommodation. But it was late and everything was fully booked. We managed to find one the next day, for the rest of our stay in London (5 more nights), but it costed us more money. Our vacation in London was very stressful and unpleasant because of this incident. Note that we were also travelling with seniors and children. We have sent the details of our review to VRBO and are still waiting for their feedback/resolution.
