Alpine Helen is the tourist hot spot here in the Mountains of North GA. Visit us in the fall for the world’s longest running Oktoberfest. Helen, GA is centrally located to Hiawasee, Blairsville, Dahlonega, Ellijay, Sautee Nacoochee, Lake Burton, Lake Vogel and Brasstown Bald, the highest natural point in the state of Georgia. North GA is also known for its Great trout fishing, zip lining, tubing and wines tasting. Visit Three Sisters, Frog Town, Wolf Mountain and Habersham Wineries just to mention a few.
Our cabin has easy access to all Helen has to offer and is a short walk (1/4 - 1/2 mile) for shopping, dining, bars, tubing and water Park. They also offer go-carts, horse rides, hiking, biking, kayaking, mountain roads, views etc within a short drive. The cabin is private and semi-secluded with plenty of parking space.
North Georgia also has abundant wildlife, many hiking trails, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Enjoy the mountain Laurel in the Spring, the colorful foliage in the fall, warm mountain air in the summer and maybe even a touch of snow in the winter months.
Experience the best of the North Georgia Mountains by staying in this cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin. Room to comfortably sleep up to 4 guests, this home is the perfect size for a family mountain getaway.
The cabin comes with a fully furnished kitchen and bedding. All you need to bring is your personal items and food. We have Roku tv and WiFi.

We loved the cabin and all of the amenities! It was quiet and peaceful and we had a relaxing stay. The neighbor was there immediately upon arriving to make sure we didn’t block his truck in. The cabin was perfect for our needs and we will stay there again!

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was clean and so quiet when you sat out back. The hot tub was wonderful. It was close to downtown Helen where you could walk, shop, or sit by the river.

This was our first time to Helen Georgia and it was for our 17th anniversary. The cabin was amazing. Perfect location! Well maintained. The host had great communication. We will definitely be back. My husband and I have not stopped talking about the trip. We will definitely recommend it to family and friends. Thank you so much!

We had an incredible stay and loved the convenient location near all the local attractions. It was an easy walk to the downtown area and close to several hiking trails. The hot tub on the deck was fantastic for unwinding after a day of exploring the North Georgia mountains. The property owners were extremely communicative and very helpful!

The property was very nice, clean, away from the street noise. Everything we needed was in the cabin but our food. Hot tub was a relaxing afternoon bonus to a busy day. Really a nice place and we enjoyed our stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Great place to stay if you want piece of mind and relaxation. Close to town but far enough not to hear the main road. Place was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. This was our first VRBO rental. If we head up there again we hope this cabin will be available.

The cabin was just perfect for us and our dog. It was very cozy and clean. We enjoyed the private deck and hot tub. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Downtown Helen was just a short walk. We would definitely return!

Due to being there when we were it was quiet and an easy walk into town. Convenient to most everything you might want to do. Cabin was comfortable and had plenty of room for us. Nice decks to relax on - we would have but the weather was a bit cool... Only drawback is not much area to walk our dog to do her business except on the road. Thankfully the cabins near us were vacant so we could walk her in those yards. Had a great walk in town and there are parks there for our dog to do lots of smelling. It's a dog friendly area but be sure to bring your bags for them as they don't have them available anywhere on the streets/parks that we saw. Overall a nice visit!!!

All was very nice there was problems with the gas fireplace where the pilot light knots blowing out! They lit it one time and it only lasted an hour and went out again! I gave up! They don’t tell you the main heat controls are located behind the TV so the first night the temp dropped to 66 degrees and wouldn’t get any warmer. The only heat control is located on the other wall the one you can see and that’s for the gas heater that won’t work! He can control the heater temperature from his phone and I had to call him to turn it higher! I’m from Florida and not used to 32 degree weather! It was too cold and had to sleep with a coat to stay warm! Would I return to this cabin NO! Besides the floors and dust were terrible! I should not have to clean to stay there it should be clean before you get there!

Very quaint cabin that is right off of the main road and a short walk into town. Loved all the Christmas decor and the hot tub. Check-in instructions were very straightforward.

Stayed here for an extended weekend in Helen. Location was perfect, close enough to walk but far enough not to hear anything. Pet friendly is always appreciated since we travel with our pup. Communication with the host was easy and replied quickly. Only complaint was the cleanliness of the cabin. Under the furniture needed some attention. Our dog found leftover pet food under the couch and a dog toy under the bed. The towels were musty and some looked used with a green sticky substance stuck on them. We ended up buying our own towels. The hot tub could have used a good scrub and a change of water. Issues were brought to the hosts attention and they said they have had problems with their cleaner. If the cleanliness issue is resolved, this would be a perfect place to stay. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and soap were supplied for the weekend. Heater and AC in the living room kept up well with the changing climate in November.

The cabin was nice and clean, walking distance to town. Only negative thing I can say is make sure you don’t park in middle of driveway or a very rude old man will be yelling at you. My wife was being dropped off by her sister and he started yelling. It was a very nice place and the hot tub was fun. We will be back.

The cabin was very nice and in good repair, except for the bathroom. The toilet would need a 'handle jiggle' nearly every time you use it. I read the cabin journal and it had the same issue as far back as spring, 2022. We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was filled with alot of extras, such as a gas 'old fashion' heater and a hot tub. There was also a gas grill on the porch and a big table with chairs. The kitchen had an ample array of dishes and cooking pots and pans. The only negative there was, the oven was VERY dirty, lots of baked on droppings and spills. Who knows when it was cleaned. The cabin was close to main street and all that brings. All kinds of shops and places to eat. Over all, it was a GREAT place to stay!

The cabin was clean, cozy and convenient! The secluded side porch made for very pleasant breakfasts in the cool morning air, and soaks in the hot tub after our hikes and tubing. The cabin is EXTREMELY convenient, mere seconds by car from all Helen downtown attractions, and only minutes from many trailheads to waterfall hikes. We enjoyed ourselves, and would gladly return.

Good: The location was very nice. Close to town. It felt very private even though the cabins are very close to each other. Bad: The cabin was not clean and smelled really bad and got worse the more we showered and used the bathroom. Our sheets would not stay on the bedroom bed and after pulling out the pull out sofa you could see a lot of dog hair on it. It had not been vacuum in a long time. I would not stay here again.

The cabin was very clean. It need HVAC in the bedroom. The picture shows a window unit but when we arrived it was not there. The bedroom was at least 10-15 degrees warmer than the living area. We bought a fan to direct cooler air into the bedroom. The walk to town isn't bad but the walk back is 100% up a fairly steep hill. We chose to drive. Overall, a very nice place to stay and would definitely recommend.
