The house was amazing in all areas. Could maybe use more seating in the living room as we had a couple of rainy days & not enough seating for the adults . Pool was great & got a lot of use. Really enjoyed our stay.

Our family vacation was made comfortable in our rental. Exactly as pictured. Our grandchildren, ages 7 & 10 loved the pool. We asked for it heated because of the time of year. On off days from the parks everyone gathered at the pool for a day in the sun. We made memories to last a lifetime. The hosts were just a text away. The only downside was the construction in the back of the house which the hosts told us about beforehand. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This property was exactly as described! We had 5 women staying for a Disney Bachelorette weekend and everyone raved about the house and the accommodations. Especially the pool and hot tub, I think we used it every day of our stay. Very close to Disney and Icon park. Communications with Janine were very easy and she was quick to respond to my questions. Definitely recommend for large family vacations or get togethers.

We stayed at the property for a family Disney Trip. The house was very clean upon arrival. We did not have any issues checking-in. Smooth process overall. Basic needs are supplied. The owner, Janine, was very easy to communicate with and she responded very quickly. She was very easy to work with. She gives detailed instructions for renting out the the house to make the process smooth. The house itself is very pretty. The pool was nice and we payed extra to have it heated and it was definitely worth it! I would rent again in the future 😊

We loved staying at this beautiful home for our annual family vacation. It was great with so many bedrooms and bathrooms available for our large family. We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers. The pool was amazing!! We had a few issues getting the air temp right but the owner was amazing at working with me to get it so we was cool and comfortable.

Wonderful Stay! Great for Kids
We had a wonderful stay at the house! The pool, hot tub and patio area was perfect. The screened fence made me feel safe with having little ones! The house was equipped nicely especially for kids. The community pool was nice too! Janine was extremely responsive and kind host. Would highly recommend staying.

My family stayed here for a week long Disney and Universal trip. The home ws clean and had everything thing our large group needed. We had 5 kids, 5 adults and we had plenty of baby items to help us during our stay. We were close to everything and enjoyed a rest day at the resort pool.The owner was very responsive to my questions and even made sure to mail me a couple important items that were left at the home. We would stay here again!

The house was perfect for my family! I texted the host because I needed to rent a scooter for my mom while we there. Janine quickly answered all questions. The house is well maintained. The layout is great. I would definitely rent again.

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this exact home and we have loved it both times. Janine is great to work with, the home is amazing, and the resort is so great for a family or group. We will be renting again I am sure! Thanks for another wonderful trip for my little Girl Scouts.

This home is perfect for a family on a Disney vacation and is our second time to stay here. All amenities are as stated and sleeps 10 comfortably. The location is great so when you are ready to head home after a busy Disney day it’s just a 15 minute ride. Janine has provided all information you need for the home as well as surrounding area and activities. The pool and hot tub are a great way to relax.
We will plan to stay here on our next visit and recommend others to check this one out!!

House and location where good. The neighborhood had a couple of nice play areas for the littles. House was nice and fit description. Lots of traffic outside the neighborhood but a lot just seemed to be local. We enjoyed the house and pool. I will say the pool was the best temperature out of the last 3 places we have stayed!

Highly recommend this rental home! We vacationed with another family, four adults and five kids (ages 5-15). This home was a perfect fit for everyone.
The location is great; close to shopping with Disney just a short drive away.
The home is beautiful, CLEAN, well-maintained, and has thoughtful conveniences to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The owner takes the time to prepare you for arrival, is quick to respond, easy to work with, and very kind.
This is a gated (lovely) community. If you’re arriving right at check-in time, please be prepared to wait in line. The process is thorough and lengthy (but necessary!). After initial check-in, we never experienced a line.

We spent a day at Magic Kingdom, it was so amazing. It was a blessing to come back to our own sanctuary after a big day at the park.

We have rented this home before and had the most wonderful experience. Everything was perfect. This trip was almost 2 times as expensive for less nights (price went up), spa heat is broken despite management saying it is fine. Last winter it was so hot we had to get out and have pool time, this time it never heated beyond the pool temperature so we were unable to use it (main reason we rented the house). Towels in bathrooms were faded and freying. Also ceiling fans and baseboards in bedrooms and bathrooms were dusty and had hair on them. We were so excited to rent this home again and we ended up sadly disappointed.

A spacious, very clean house close to Disney. The house is perfect for large families as there is enough personal space for everyone. The pool table and air hockey games were an added bonus. The house has a screened-in pool and hot tub and a patio area. We sat beside the pool several evenings. The wifi is very fast and reliable. The home even has a stroller for those with young children. Moreover, there is an alarm on the patio door leading to the pool area and a fence around the pool, making the area safe for very young children. The Windsor Hills development has lots of amenities - such as several playgrounds and a water park - that are wonderful. The house is close to lots of restaurants and shops and about 10 minutes from Disney. The host was very helpful and checked with us regularly throughout our rental week.
Tip to future renters: you should bring along extra TP, paper towels and soap of all kinds - dishwasher, bath and hand soap, as well as some basic kitchen supplies - salt, pepper and sugar. Thankfully Walmart is 5 minutes away so it is easy to pick up any additional supplies that you may need.

Our trip was made easy with some items on hand for young kids (high chair, pack and play, strollers, etc) and community amenities they enjoyed. Hosts are terrific with info and communication.

The house was an oasis of relaxation after each day at Disney and Universal...a great place to unwind relax and get ourselves together for the next day...we walked about 11 to 12 miles each day...the kids LOVED the house and pool.

I should have known from some of the sketchiness at the start that this was going to be a bad experience, but I had no idea.
First, there's a baked in fee for pool-heating even though it's September and 90 degrees every day. Second, there's a contract you have to sign before the stay with an overly aggressive cancellation policy and limited liability clause. Then they expect you to provide credit card info and photo ID in a dinky PDF. When I offered to provide in person, that wouldn't do, only the shadiest of methods would work. I don't know about you, but I don't trust giving my credit card and ID to someone I've never met, especially outside of official channels. But it got much worse.
We booked the house for a group of friends from across the country who haven't seen each other in over a year to come celebrate a 30th birthday at Epcot. As fate would have it, the birthday girl gets COVID a couple days before the trip. Everyone including Disney, airlines, car, restaurants helped us to reschedule to later once birthday girl was negative. Everyone except Janine, that is. We tried to cancel. Absolutely not. We tried to reschedule. No way. All we wanted to do was get together with friends to celebrate a birthday and big milestone, and had our dreams dashed by the most inflexible member of the hospitality industry I have ever met.
I'm all for supporting small business owners and making sure people are treated fairly, so we even offered to pay above typical booking costs on the reschedule if Janine would reschedule. This way she would be compensated for the lost weekend. Her response to this? She cancelled the reservation. We had a party of nine people, of which only two ever tested positive for COVID while six others were spread across the country and never received any exposure. Those six could still travel, and even if we couldn't refund or reschedule, the 6-person group still planned to use the reservation. Janine removed even this option by canceling on us last minute, forcing the group to scramble to rework travel plans only hours before departure.
At present, I have paid a tremendous amount for a service I did not receive. Janine canceled the booking at the last minute and stole my money. What's stopping her from doing the same to you? She's a thief - you've been warned. I can only recommend staying here if you enjoy being robbed.

Firstly, I have rented many properties over the years through HomeAway/VRBO, and I have never had any issues with any of them. I have also never left a bad review, and I am a 5 star rated renter. However this property is different.
Let's start with the positives, the resort is great, really well maintained and fantastic amenities, and close to all the action. So Windsor Hills gets a thumbs up. The villa itself was nice enough, had everything that you need, however it is looking a bit outdated and tired now. But nothing to complain about. It wasn't the cleanest (I had to move the sofa back as something dropped beneath it and it was filthy underneath), but again nothing too bad to complain about.
The issue is the rear outlook (and the owners response). When I booked this villa the picture (which I see is still on the listing) and description was of overlooking a beautiful conservation area, with no rear neighbours. Peace and privacy. However it is far from it! It is a building site. Mounds of sand, buildings being built, diggers moving around and we were woken up every morning by bulldozers trundling by. The rear was nothing like as it was described.
I contacted the owner to let her know, and ask why she hadn't told me about the building work. She said that 'it wasn't her responsibility to tell me,' and that if I 'didn't like the property, then I should just leave. Leave now.' I would beg to differ. I booked and paid extra for a private and peaceful rear view and that wasn't delivered. Plus it was Easter week. There was no where else we could go, so it wasn't a very empathetic or helpful comment from the owner. She also tried to make me feel guilty by saying that I should feel grateful that I had booked this pre pandemic and was only paying 2019 prices, as she had put her prices up a lot since then. So I was costing her money by staying. Charming. I gave her ample opportunity to cancel our trip and sell it to other guests at a higher price, but she decided to keep my cash through the pandemic, so she can't have it both ways.
In summary I paid for a product which the owner didn't deliver. In any other business that would be a refund, or at the very least some compassion and reason. Neither of these were forthcoming.
So, if you have booked this villa or are going to book it then go in with eyes wide open - as it looks nothing like the picture!
