About this house rental

The Double Bore Ranch boast with a Gorgeous secluded Lodge overlooking the woods, set on a 200 acre wooded ranch, located in the Pennsylvania Wilds area - Clarion county, 15 minutes from Interstate 80.

Amenities in the area include 2 golf courses, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, bike trails, Foxburg restaurants, winery and Clarion town conveniences -- all within a ten-minute drive. Only, 25 minutes from Cook Forest State Park. The entire area is a great place for all seasons.

The Lodge has central airconditioning with gas/radiant heat. Kitchen appliances includes electric stove/oven, 2 x refrigerators, dishwasher, microwave and the necessary kitchen ware for a memorable self-catering holiday. Entertainment includes two large televisions with Dish satellite TV, music center and WiFi Internet through satellite.

This Lodge is set up to comfortably sleep 18. It has 6 bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms and 2 guest half baths – 3 King, 3 Queen and 3 Double beds. The main level house 3 Bedrooms, main living space, dining area and kitchen connected to the entrance, all on the same level with no stairs(ideal for movement-impaired guests). The expansive main living room has a wood burning fireplace, sofa seaters and dining area. The Lower level access through inside stairs and accommodate the other 3 bedrooms with games room, bar area, pool table, second TV, music centre and Laundry room with washer and dryer.

To enjoy the outdoors, there are 2 big covered wrap around upper and lower decks, a large 20x20 fire pit area with gas grill gets you in a true holiday mood. The surrounding 200 acres fenced in wooded ranch has 4 well marked hiking trails for enticing outdoor exploration to icy creeks and springs. Sighting whitetail deer and turkey is common during the excursions and an occasional black bear may also be around. The warm fire in the outdoor fire pit will create a cozy and inviting atmosphere while enjoying the snow and associated fun and games.

If you want to enjoy the wonderful wooded Western PA WILDS but with all the luxury and comfort of home, this is the place to be. Come for a weekend or for a full week - you will NOT want to leave! The ideal space to host your extended family gathering, long awaited reunion or just spending some quality time with good friend.

Notes:
1) The signed Rental Agreement and Waiver need to be returned within 48 hours after booking. (emailed to you when you make the booking.) Failure to return within 48 hours may cause your booking to be cancelled with VRBO applicable cancellation fees. If you feel uncomfortable to sign the Rental Agreement and Waiver, please cancel your booking within 48 hours from making it, for a full refund.

2) WiFi Internet is supplied via Satellite. Due to the remote nature of the lodge, neither FIOS nor Cable is available. Satellite internet is influenced by adverse weather conditions such as snow, rain and wind. Please download your movies in advance to play with HDMI trough the Entertainment centre or through Apple Airplay(not compatible with 4k/UHD and/or HDR downloads - SD or HD only) to the TV's.

3) As the property is remote and both a working farm and recreational land, perimeter surveillance devices are used for property protection and safety. There are surveillance devices on the right front and right back of the Barn that captures the driveway, parking area, Barn surroundings and fire-pit. There are surveillance devices on the east and west side of the agricultural plots that captures the plots and plot roads.

Our family of 10 stayed here for a week. House was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Beds are very comfortable. Even the decks were kept clean, and we enjoyed sitting out there and watching the deer come by. The trails on the property were well maintained and fun to explore. Would highly recommend this property.

We continue to come back each year after year to have our annual vacation away from home with several friends at the double bore ranch. It is such a wonderful home to meet our needs of large gatherings and relaxing times.

We loved Double Bore!! The space, the amenities, furnishings, all of it. Even the resident garden snake in the driveway that we called Gary. Though it was 90+ degrees every day, we could sit outside comfortably. Everything was clean and in very good condition. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and now we are spoiled frequently m having 2 large refrigerators, a beer/wine fridge and chest freezer! We hope we did ok with the water and septic.

Very impressive property. I asked my grandson what his favorite thing about the cabin was, he said "my bathroom". Each bedroom has it's on bathroom. We walked all of the trails on the property, they could use a little maintenance, but nice of the owner to even have trails. We enjoyed the large wrap around multi-level deck and the fire pit area. Please think about adding a pinball machine to the game room. We will definately return next spring.

We stayed w 6 couples, perfect house, each had own bedroom w private bathroom. stocked with everything you might need. We felt like we were in Aspen resort. Owner was very responsive and so accommodating. We're already talking about booking again for an annual outing. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

We just cannot say enough about this amazing property, from the gorgeous and spacious home, to the peaceful and beautiful surrounding property. Everyone in our family, ages 6-88, said this was the perfect vacation. The host took so much time to pay attention to detail and it was greatly appreciated - from the stocked kitchen, to the huge dining tables inside and out, to providing firewood, to the well marked trails. We had such a relaxing week and fully enjoyed the outdoors, especially the back porch! It was a week of creating amazing memories. It is the most comfortable and roomy VRBO we have stayed in over the past 15 years, and something our family is looking forward to doing again!

Here for an annual heavenly birthday celebration. Great accommodations, very well equipped kitchen and attention to detail around every corner. Although the weather was uncooperative and we were unable to enjoy the outdoors, the indoor offerings more than made up for it. No unexpected surprises, everything was as described. This property is a joy to stay at! It was our 5th annual return to Double Bore Ranch. A really beautiful spot in the woods! Ample room for our large group and so much to do from campfires, to hikes, antiquing, brewery and winery stops, restaurants and more! Most important, good friends and total relaxation. Place was amazing! We enjoyed the large open spaces, the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need! Loved having 2 refrigerators! It was nice that each bedroom had a bathroom! The beaver dam on the property is a must see! Host Zirkia is very quick to respond! We will definitely be back!

Our group of friends has been getting together for a fall weekend for 35 years. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed our time there. Many outdoor and indoor spaces to enjoy our time together. We like to cook and the kitchen is well stocked. Our only thought was the size of the kitchen- a little tight compared to the size of the house. Zirvika was very responsive and helpful to our questions.

We loved the property and house. Everything was perfect. Every detail was covered. Our family of 15 people had a wonderful time. I loved the firepit which we were all able to fit around comfortably. We loved the extra long tables that we all could sit at. The double refrigerator were perfect. All the extra amenities soaps and games and more are such a wonderful addition to a listing. We could not have asked for a better stay.

We stayed at the Double Bore Ranch for two nights with 16 guests. We all had a wonderful time. The house was perfect with the number of beds and bedrooms. Each bedroom having its own private bathroom is awesome. Even though it rained, we had plenty to do around the house between the pool table, trails, fire pit and other spacious outdoor areas to hang out. I hope we will be back soon!

This is the second year in a row we stayed at this property. Again, it was exceptionally clean, well stocked, and extremely spacious and comfortable. We have five adult children with spouses - two with young children - so the six master bedrooms are perfect for our family. There is plenty of room in this cabin! Not only did we enjoy all of the indoor amenities but also all the outdoor spaces, fire pit, and hiking trails. We will definitely rent this property again!

This property is perfect. Large bedrooms (all with own bathrooms). Beautiful interior and exterior property that is FULLY stocked with kitchen items, games and other amenities. My family has gathered here 3 times, this most recent trip with 4 generations from 89 yrs to 3 months of age…this property works well for all of us…large great room for large family meals, games and football watching. The covered porch allows easy packing and unpacking. My dad (89 yrs old) has limited mobility but can easily access the property and interact in the great room with his family…access to the huge porch is also on this level that allows him to enjoy the porch and watch grandkids playing in the yard below! Can’t say enough great things! The owner has an easy check in/out process & communicates very well!!!
