About this cottage rental

This beautiful and clean 3 bedroom, 2 loft cottage sits on the water of pristine Newfound Lake in Bristol, NH. The mountain and sunset views from all rooms are stunning. The cottage features a large eat-in kitchen with all the amenities including a dishwasher, full stove/microwave, refrigerator, toaster over and dining table and adjoins a huge family/TV room with comfortable couches, recliners, chairs and fireplace and another dining table that seats 8-10 people. The dining table sits in front of a bank of windows overlooking the lake that makes you feel like you're floating while you enjoy your meal. Two large full baths and family game room in the finished basement featuring air hockey and ping pong tables complete the inside of this large cottage. The cottage comes equipped with seven TV's and internet connection. In the summer, it also offers a dock for your boat, a perched beach for sunbathing, an anchored raft for swimming and the opportunity to rent a mooring for your water toys. A large outside patio and deck area boasts seating for a crowd and includes a year round firepit overlooking the lake. You can't get closer to the water than this!

This was the second we book this property in winter time. The house is beautiful and the host is wonderful! Very close to Ragged Mountain for skiing.

Our family rented the main cottage for Christmas weekend and it was the best experience ever! The view of the lake from the dinning table was priceless! The extra space for the teens to play and just hang out was a plus. We enjoyed every minute spent at this location. We even discussed possibly going back for the summer! We were a group of 11 and there was plenty of space for everyone.

We rented this property early May for a family trip to celebrate a graduation. The rental was very comfortable, easy to use all of the amenities. We enjoyed the location and wished we could have stayed longer. Host was very helpful. Would definitely book again!!

This is an extremely special place. We were meeting with my sisters and her families for skiing at Ragged Mountain. Pat is an amazing host and was very nice and coordial. Great host and amazing place that resultred in an incredible experience that will not be forgotten.

A perfect lake house with plenty of room for friends and family. We truly enjoyed our stay. My wife , myself and our three children had a blast. Beautiful fall views across the lake. Looks like it would be a lot of fun in the summer too. The area was quiet, it was easy to get to everything. The house was lovely and welcoming and the owner replied to questions within minutes. We really enjoyed our stay. We were so happy that we were able to bring our dogs.

We will be back!!

We have always been a lake family, but this year we added a pontoon to our fleet. This was our first time out to Newfound and it was actually a last minute find. What a hidden gem! Pat was such a great host! The main house was spectacular, clean and very roomy for our group. Everyone loved being steps from the water and the view was gorgeous. Lots of space for every to hang out, outside or inside. It was a little chilly during our visit, so the kids didn't get to enjoy the water as much but they definitely enjoyed smores by the fire. Rest assured, this will not be our last time at Lakeside Cottages!

We used this property as extra sleeping for a party we were having. It’s a beautiful property with gorgeous views of the lake from three of the sleeping spaces. When they say it’s on the water they mean it, you couldn’t get any closer. Pat was incredibly fast with his responses to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Amazing stay on Newfound Lake

I cannot begin to tell you what a beautiful house this was on Newfound Lake. We rented for New Year's and had a large group for a ski trip at Ragged Mountain. The property was immaculate and had many fun features- game room, chess table, outdoor fire pit and a beautiful view. The owner Pat was so helpful and an absolute delight to work with. I would highly recommend this place and hope to visit again in the future!

Perfect for Small Gatherings

My husband and I hosted a small family gathering the day before our wedding. Pat's place was perfect! We were able to bring our canoe, have a fire in the fire pit, and relax right on the water. Definitely a great place for families to get together, and the one of the only places on the lake that allows gatherings over 15 people.

Pat was so helpful and pleasant to deal with and the home is just perfect. Steps from the water and very spacious but cozy. A perfect setting for our ice fishing trip with a large group of people. The view from nearly every room is perfect and the house itself very clean and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. A finished basement with game room which the kids in our group loved!! We had at a great time and hope to return! Highly recommend!! A++

We have never ever had a vacation rental where the proprietors were so caring and interested in our happiness!!! Life has no guarantees, but I guarantee you if you stay at this property you will not be disappointed! The beds were very comfortable, the air off the lake was brilliant, the view was spectacular! The set up is perfect for a group, everyone can have their own space or congregate. The few things we lacked in the kitchen were provided for when requested. Neighbors were nice and considerate. The bonus mini fridge bar area is a very classy touch, right by the beautiful dining room table on the water. For our group, the spiral staircase was a no-go and rendered that sleeping area useless for us. We didn’t really use the game room, it was a little musty. Also, we got off to a rough start. The prior renters were a rough group, much was left in disarray and unclean, No need for details, but we were upset. Our concerns were met with grace and swiftly and professionally rectified. Pat Donahue is one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. I would recommend her properties to anyone and everyone.

Family friends a group of 11 (4 Adults and 7 children ( 4 of them teens) stayed together in the main house of Lakeside Cottages! It was perfect. The view were magnificent! The house was very comfortable, clean ,and a game room to keep everyone busy at night. Lots of room to spread out and then some. The seating area outside was great for making smores around the campfire and the girls loved the ducks. We fished off the dock , walked for ice cream and of course loved the dock for our boat. We definitely recommend staying for large groups. We look forward to making more memories on Newfound staying at Lake Side cottages.
