About this house rental

Ryan's Holiday Beach House is a luxury 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom spacious holiday home which is brand new to the market on South Stradbroke Island. The house has been furnished in a modern yet beachside theme and is the perfect location for your next waterfront escape. With a large east-facing deck overlooking the water and with ample furnished outdoor areas, Ryan's Holiday Beach House provides the ideal location for you to have a relaxing break, or a great base for your family whilst you explore the island and all that the local waterways have to offer. The area is very peaceful, with often the only sounds being the song of local birds and the occasional splash as fish jump from the water.

** Please note that you cannot bring a car to the island. The only method of transport to the island is by private boat or water taxi service.

The main area of the home is open plan with timber flooring, high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, gas cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. The laundry has a front loader washing machine and separate dryer. The home has insect screens, air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout.

With one king, two queen and 4 single bunk beds, the home sleeps up to 10 people comfortably. Each bedroom has been styled with quality linen and finishes which represent the island location.

Ryan's Holiday Beach House is situated at Couran Point and is best reached directly by boat to the 8m pontoon at the property. Note that Couran Point is not associated with the Couran Cove resort. There is no direct access to a supermarket so guests are reminded that food and drinks will need to be brought with them for their stay. Tipplers cafe and bar is a few minutes away by boat. Bikes are supplied for guest use to enable you to explore the local area and to view the abundant wildlife. Kayaks are also provided for the kids to use directly in front of the house.

Couran Point is home to a great deal of wildlife, especially the local golden wallabies which may pay a visit - specifically in the early morning. Dolphins also frequent the canals so keep an eye out!

The bar area flows to the outside of this spacious home and is a great spot for your morning coffee and equally, an afternoon glass of wine after a busy day relaxing. There is also a 6 seater outside dining table and lounge area on the deck area with plenty of space for the family.

Please note that Ryan's Holiday Beach House is at South Stradbroke Island Waters, a peaceful residential community. With respect to our neighbours, we stress that this is NOT a party house. This property is ideal for relaxing getaways with family and friends and for making amazing holiday memories however parties, disrespect to the local community or to the rules of the waterways will not be tolerated and could lead to early eviction without refund. If you have booked this property and just realised it does not meet with the requirements above, please contact the host as soon as possible to work through booking cancellation in line with the cancellation policy.

Very well equiped and nice and clean. It was perfect for our family gettogether. Nine adults and one child. Plenty to do and good mooring for our boats. Highly recommend this place!

A stunning home with plenty of space to relax. Board games were a hit and so were the bikes and Kayaks. The adults and kids happily threw some lines in from the pontoon which kept them occupied for hours. We all had a great time here for 5 nights. The only downside were the midgies but we just had to remember to lather up morning and evening with repellent and it was all good. Highly recommend :)

Had a lovely time at Ryan’s beach house. The house more than accommodated 6 family members. Comprising of 3 x 20 y/olds, 2x parents, grandma. Despite having unseasonally cool weather overnight, which was managed with reverse cycle heating! The house is very well set up with everything, including weber BBQ & coffee pod machine. You will need to BYO food/drinks from mainland as there is no place to purchase. The couple from water cove taxi were great and arranged our transfers & for a small fee picked up our groceries click/collect. The house has bicycles, some needed a bit of a service, but we still managed to explore parts of the island, even riding as far as Tipplers resort. The nearby Couran Cove is very run down, but still open for coffee. There are also a few kayaks to use. Pity we didn’t take our fishing rods, plenty of fish about. Love to see the island in summer. This is a lovely relaxing laidback part of Gold Coast. I would recommend this location, with a stay either side on the mainland if you’re coming from interstate. Thanks to hosts & Jay the neighbour!

Island getaway

The house was perfect for 2 families to share. It was great to have the bikes included to ride to the resort however the gate to the resort was closed off on our second day making it harder to get there. We found a buggy track and made it work. The canoes were a bonus and it was perfect to be able to park our boat outside the house.

It is very clean and tidy, and has everything you need. The kids and adults enjoyed the bikes and kayaks that are provided. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect family getaway, comfortable in a great location for the entire family. Bikes being provided was a great help. Kids enjoyed a paddle on the kyaks as well, plus close proximity to resort with cafes, bars and family friends pools and water parks.

Ryan's Holiday House was awesome. The moment we walked inside we were thrilled to have snagged such a modern and open spaced house for us all. Three couples and three teenage kids. The house and location lived up to its promises online. We all would like to go back for a longer period in sometime next year. I recommend it to anyone who would enjoy getting away for a weekend or school holidays with the family. It is clean, spacious and well equipped. Books, games, kayaks, bikes for all ages readily available. Adults and teens had a ball. Thank you to Katrina Lawrence, property manager who was awesome in keeping in touch all the way through.

Ryan's Holiday beach was an excellent stay, the home was well positioned and what can say about the outdoor area WOW the bar bench is awesome. The rooms and spacious and beds are comfortable and clean, 2 great sized bathrooms and Towels were great quality. It made you fell like it was your place for a short period of time. Katrina was amazing to deal with as a Host super organised and commutative. We will visit again try and make it a yearly trip thank you for the wonderful stay.
