It was a short stay but the welcome was absolutely amazing.

Jason at reception was so helpful and so friendly. He went out of his way to ensure that the booking was seamless and that the guest was accommodated.

Everything was perfect. I cannot fault anything at all.

Clean comfortable place to stay in Stellenbosch.

The decor in our room and the establishment was good. Breakfast was most enjoyable .

Looks pretty and breakfast is decent

The wooden floors are noisy when you walk in the lodges and you hear the people walk above and next to you . Could do with snacks in the bar fridge and better wine selection.

Evergreen Lodge is a lovely place!

I loved my stay at Evergreen Lodge! Perfect location within walking distance to the university and restaurants/shops. It is a lovely place and the staff are all so friendly and helpful! The breakfast in the garden was fantastic! I can definitely recommend.

Overall, very average stay for the hefty price tag!

Location is great, very central byut yet out of the buzzy areas Nice breakfast with nice options to choose from Backup generator which is great

The aircon worked only at night. AC full blast on during the day still gave a 32 deg temperature in the room ! Worked properly at night though. Mini fridge was not working

Good wifi and availability of power during loadshedding.

I didn't get to eat breakfast on both days due to early morning plans. I was not offered any pre-arranged option to cater for my schedule.

Location perfect, all wonderful, friendly staff, good breakfast.

A hook in the bathroom to hang your towel closer to the shower and hook somewhere to put you clothes other than on the floor. The floor boards are lovely but rather SQUEAKY and NOISY

Disappointing

The staff, the main manor's facilities, location

Other than the dated room and amenities which is not a problem for a lodge and still homey. The specific room (above the spa) in the middle of winter had no blankets, the windows so drafty on the bed I went to sleep on the ground with 4 tops on and two scarves over head and main aircon not working. We all left sick. If it was a backpackers that would have been fine, but it still cost more than R1700 for the nigh...so a bit of a downer.

Definitely use again

Super and generous breakfast, and LITERALLY 600m from the sports field as we were told...unlike the B &B in Kloof ..they said "few minutes' and it was a half hour DRIVE :( . Staff really nice people!!

Wonderful, will defnitely return if need be!

Breakfast was wonderful, and the omelette was delicious!! They also accomodated friends that didn't stay at Evergreen for Breakfast.

Beautiful place

The facilities and staff were great, but I would suggest to invest in some form of alternative electricity/ back up. When I arrived at the guesthouse on Thursday night, there was no power due to load shedding, and again the very next morning when I woke up.

Evergreen is very well situated , comfortable, with friendly staff and a great breakfast . I will stay there again
