Exceptional

Clean and well maintained.

There were no signs on the building, which made it very difficult to find. The area was marked off for constrruction and I walked around in circles for 30 minutes before I could find the hotel, eventhough it was within a few feet from where the bus dropped me.

A hotel on track number 5.

Sleeping comfortably inside a real train station is once in a lifetime experience.

Well, the train station gets noisy in the morning with the first arriving and departing trains.

We were very happy with our stay here and would recommend it for both short and longer stays.

The receptionist was very welcoming and had everything prepared for us as soon as we arrived. Maps, directions and all. We were happy to learn that the fridge in the room was fully stocked with water, milk, juices and we had a wide variety of packed treats, all included. As well, if we wanted more there was a cafeteria area that we could help ourselves to for coffee and further refreshments at any time of the day or night. The room also had kitchen appliances and an espresso cooker with grounded coffee in the room.

This was not a problem for us as we are heavy sleepers, but if you are a light sleeper you might wake up from the sounds that the trains make before departure. As I mentioned before though, we did not notice this other than when we were awake, and even then the noise was not too bad or loud. At least not in our opinion.

My stay at the hotel was very comfortable. it was very well located near transit and main streets.

The hotel was very clean and tastefully decorated. it had everything I needed for my stay. air conditioning was perfect and essential during the hot summer. Agrigento is very hilly and has lots of stairs. it was in a flat ground level which made it easy for suitcases. Lots of fruits, sweet breads and coffee was provided along with water and juices.

The only thing I didn’t like was that it was right at the train station and you could hear the morning trains.

nice clean place with convenient parking

very clean. city center location with proper parking lot.

noise from trains in very early morning of weekdays:starting from 4-5am. weekends and holidays were okay: 7-8am.

This was our third time at the hotel, and we will stay there again whenever we visit Agrigento.

Parking on site was good as it wouldn't have been easy to park in the centre of town. Breakfast was provided in the room, and it was rather good

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

very comfortable room. very friendly and accommodating staff. super nice.

the only thing to be aware of is that this hotel is at the train station. actually closer than I realized. the train was 15 feet outside my window. which is perfect for just a quick stay in Agrigento. however, there is a little noise when the trains start up. it wasn’t enough to keep me from sleeping, but I was awake early each morning. not a problem, just be aware if you are planning a long stay.

Great choice in Agrigento

Nice hotel: very clean, modern, good wifi, and free parking located near and on the same level as the hotel. Central location, excellent to discover the city.

Although I wrote upon booking that I need to park the car, I received no information. As a result, I had first difficulty to find the hotel: when you arrive in front of the train station, unless you know the place, it is hard to imagine that you have to enter the train station, go down the floors and that you find the hotel next to the train docks. Same for parking: I searched for it for half an hour in the neighbourhood as the lady at the reception was unable to explain me that it was next to the train docks, actually just in front of the hotel, which is very comfortable. Maybe that is the Italian way of making things complicated when they are actually simple.

Interesting location and the room was nice. It would have been advantageous to have better directions before we arrived (it’s on the other side of track #5) because the hotel is not on the piazza above the station.

Note that this is an unattended hotel. After staying in many hotels and apartments across Europe, this place was only a little of both, and did not offer the advantages of either. We irritated the staff because we were a little late arriving (from the confusion regarding the exact location). Apart from that interaction, we had no contact with anyone else. It felt like a vacant hotel. And we were responsible for the security of the entire place during our four-night stay.

My first night in central station

Really very clean room and there are all what you need for kitchen Renowned all

Unfortunately I couldn’t sleep enough because of trains were louder. Location in platform 5 wasn’t clearly mentioned in adres !!! In fact you are spending night in central station next to the train. Personal are working till 19.00 And I didn’t manage to prepare coffee for my breakfast, but a lots of staff they left in room and kitchen

our stay was great although short stay, this hotel was something that we appreciated.

the cleanliness of this hotel from the front door up to the our room was emasculate. also it was walking distance to bars and restaurants.

not that we didn’t like anything about the property but more of the location taking us by surprise, located in front of the train station however we liked it, it was different which is something we look for when we travel.

Very noisy! Not the trains, our kid loved them. We had room 14, directly above the train station and you hear the waiting talking people all night (and if you open the window you smell the smoking). Worst was a ringing bell for about 10 minutes, every time a train arrives, this very annoying bell is just next to your pillow. We suggest not to stay in room 14.

Location on railway station. Imagine the enthusiasm of our children!

Breakfast. But it looks that is the Sicilian thing: (only) dry sweets for breakfast… something you don’t choose at home.

Superb

This was the second time I used Agrigento Home. It is located a very short walk from the old town and parking is free of charge to residents.

We arrived at around 5.00pm and I had to call to let them know that we arrived as there was no one at reception and the door was closed. It took another 15 minutes for someone to turn up.
