CLEANED AND DISINFECTED AFTER ALL STAYS. All LINENS ARE CLEANED AND DISINFECTED AFTER ALL STAYS. #SAFETRAVELS Private room at The Clinton Premier, a townhouse in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, NY. The house was built in 1899 and newly renovated in 2013.. The room is rather large with a comfortable bed, 2 chairs, plenty storage for your things, Wifi, TV and cable. Heating and air conditioning controlled by guest. Shampoo, iron and iron board are included. Great pride was taken in restoring many of the original details of the house. The property is located 2 minutes from the subway/train/tube and a 12 minute ride to downtown Manhattan. There you will find The Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero and Wall Street. The subway provides access to all parts of the city. Several cafes, coffee bars, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance.

I am a student and had a 5 week stay at this property. The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice. The room is separated from the house with a big divider and included a mini fridge and desk along with some plates and cups. The bus and train were a close 2-3 min walk. There is also a grocery store and deli 2 min away. There were about 3 Laundromats close by to choose from as well. Fran was a generous host and was very pleasant.

The photos don’t do this property justice. I was literally blown away when I entered. I was out and about most of the time but coming home to this incredibly clean and chic space was all the comfort I needed. Fran was nothing short of amazing. I’m a Brooklyn girl who was just visiting home for a weekend but Fran still took the time to tell me everything that’s around. She felt more like a family than a host. She would always check in to make sure all is well and that I didn’t need anything. The bathroom was super cute! Every time I visit home, I’ll be staying here. Thank you again!!

Fran’s home was absolutely stunning. While I was out and about throughout my day, it was great coming back to such a clean and breathtaking home. She was always happy to help and was such a great host overall, especially for somebody that’s personally never rented out a room before. Thank you Fran for making my little getaway unforgettable!

Perfect stay for travel nurse
Fran is probably the most hospitable host I have had the privilege to meet. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. Fran bought a mini fridge and got me a electric tea pot so I could have coffee. The brownstone is in a nice neighborhood central to all things Brooklyn. I would love to stay here again if travel nursing ever brings me back to NYC.

Lovely Spot in a Hectic City
Fran's attention to detail and hospitaliy is impressive. The space has great design. It is stylish and cozy. I was also touched by the amount and variety of toiletries available for use. Fran is a sweet host!

We love Fran!
Words can not express the stay we had with Fran and her place. Seriously she is the sweetest person and was so accommodating to us. The room and bathroom were private and we felt at home! This was our 4th year to come to New York and we look forward to coming back next year and hope we get to stay here again! The subway was just a block away from her house and everything was so quiet! HIGHLY recommend staying here at Frans place! Thank you again Fran for letting us stay here :)

Frances was such a thoughtful and welcoming host. The space was clean and tidy, decorated well, and perfectly outfitted for a long weekend in Brooklyn. Though the bed was a bit creaky, like the floors upstairs when other guests were walking around, the room offered a comfortable place to rest. Neighborhood noise at night was limited to a Saturday night party a few doors down, but it was otherwise fairly quiet for a city neighborhood. To ensure we had privacy between the bedroom and the bathroom, Frances placed a folding wall screen to block the hallway that leads to the rest of the house. As promised, the location was less than a five-minute walk to the Franklin subway station, so it was easy to get to the rest of Brooklyn and to Manhattan and beyond.

Beautiful stay in Brooklyn
Fran is a great host, we were able to check in late and she explained to us all the important things about the rooms and the property.
The house is situated very close to the subway and we were able to get to anywhere in Manhattan in a short time.
The rooms are very clean! and we would definitely come back to Frans.
In addition, there are some good restaurants nearby, we enjoyed a fantastic burger just some minutes away by foot.

We had a lovely stay! Fran was a great host. The room is lovely and bright. The neighborhood is very nice with coffee shops, restaurants and the subway all within walking distance. We will definitely stay there again.

Even better than expected
Had an amazing, long weekend at Frances' lovely space. Very comfortable indeed. High ceilings, fantastic bed, premium bathroom, great subway access. A great assortment of toiletries. Frances lives in the house, but the layout of the rental was extremely private and I really felt like I was alone in the brownstone 95% of the time. Would easily stay here again.
I always leave a suggestion for the owner in my reviews, and I kind of had a hard time thinking of any criticisms. Perhaps the addition of a mini-fridge?

Great property and host!
This lovely room was perfect for our stay. I wanted to be near the start of the Brooklyn Half marathon and I was able to walk there. We also wanted to spend time in Manhattan and the close subway was very convenient! So easy to get around. Fran was a great host and provides a lot of information in addition to toiletries and amenities. We would have liked a small fridge but other than that we had everything we needed and more! Thanks Fran and George, we had a wonderful time!

A wonderful find in Brooklyn
In a world where things are not always as advertised, Frances' place is a welcome change. Everything is exactly as advertised. The room and bathroom are beautiful and impeccable. Not advertised is Frances' warm hospitality. She guided us to restaurants and other amenities in the neighbourhood, and left water and chocolates outside our room. There are lots of great restaurants on Franklin or Fulton. If you are looking for a more economical and less hectic alternative to Manhattan and don't mind the subway (Franklin Street station is a two-minute walk from the place), you can't go wrong staying here. The room was just as described - a lovely apartment on a quiet street. I'd gladly stay there again!
Not much nearby in terms of restaurants etc., but there are a couple of coffee shops within a 5-10 minute walk (I liked the Corner Grind), and easy access to the subway to Manhattan ( A and C trains).

Clean, well prepared, all the ammenities
Frances was polite, welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, tips were offered on the city and how to get around, she was an excellent host and also allowed us privacy, highly recommended!

It is a nice place to stay while browsing around the New York City. Just 15-20 mins ride to Brooklyn downtown or Manhattan, I would recommend this house for anyone :)
