We had such a lovely time in Tarpon Springs and the Captain's Quarters is a beautiful, ideally located place to stay. This home feels like home! The owners are wonderful, super responsive and are right on top of maintaining and caring for this property. The home is spacious, comfortable and perfectly furnished with everything you could possibly need. We would love to stay here again when we come back!

Check in was flawless, our stay was beyond easy. The home had everything we could have though of needing. It was so close to downtown Tarpon Springs we walked every time we wanted to go down there. The checkout instructions we clearly posted and easy to follow.

John and Lisa were great hosts. The house was extremely clean and perfectly located in Tarpon. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a location that is convenient and walkable to the majority of the down town area. Will definitely be visiting again.

Everything is exactly as advertised & lovely home. It was also a pretty easy walk to the Sponge Docks which was nice not having to figure out parking!

We were a group of friends staying for a quick visit. It was beautiful, spacious, well equipped and perfect location. Also, it was a short Walking distance to restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our 2nd stay at this well appointed and spacious home with a big comfortable porch. It has a well stocked kitchen and all the amenities one needs; including items for the beach. The location is perfect; very walkable to the Sponge Docks, Spring Bayou and Tarpon Ave restaurants and shops. The owners take great pride in their place and are very accommodating and responsive. We just love this place and are returning next year!!

Wow! Just wow!! We have rented multiple units from VRBO and this one far exceeded our expectations. The owner’ eye for detail is fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need…they even provide an egg slicer! The wrap around porch was perfect. Some days I ate all my meals out there. Also location, location, location!! A short walk to downtown, the sponge docks, and the Spring Bayou. I would highly recommend.

Captain's Quarters is an amazing place. The house is absolutely immaculate, gorgeously decorated, and fastidiously maintained. The furniture and beds are comfy and welcoming. My sister and I were in town for a funeral and it was a soothing place to rest each evening. We were also able to get some steps in by walking to the beautiful bayou and down to the docks. Being walking distance to many great restaurants was a perk. We appreciated the supply of coffees and teas available in the house as well. Every detail was well thought out and we hope to return!

This home was very welcoming and super clean. Many kitchen amenities so we were able to cook good breakfasts before spending the day exploring and hitting the local beaches. We loved the sponge docks and the short drives to several different beaches. Would certainly stay here again.

The pictures are wonderful but do not do this place justice. Every detail had been considered. The beds and linens are an A+. The decor was beyond charming. The owner - amazingly accessible and accommodating. We needed to get ready for a wedding and everything (full length mirrors, ironing board, steamer, blow dryer, etc.) was there on the ready. Upgraded designer bathrooms and kitchen too! Just can’t say enough good things - what a gem!

This was our second visit and it was just as wonderful as our first! The house is perfect for a family! Plenty of room and well laid out. The location to sponge docks and restaurants couldn’t be better. If you’re planning a trip to Tarpon Springs, this is your house! The hosts are AMAZING!! Very helpful and easy with which to communicate. Can’t say enough nice things about the house and the hosts!

The attention to detail that John and Lisa have put into their house is amazing. It was immaculate when we arrived and felt just like home. My teenage kids loved it as well. It looked old just like the pictures. John was a great host and was always available with any questions we might have. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a wonderful 3 week stay at this delightful home within walking distance to the Sponge Docks, Spring Bayou, Tarpon Ave shops and restaurants. The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch rocking chairs. The owners were very easy to communicate with, letting us know when landscaper & cleaners were stopping in. My husband also successfully worked from the home for a couple weeks on-line and with zoom calls. It really was the perfect stay and we already booked it for next year! Looking forward to our return!

You can tell great care was taken with the renovation of this house. Close to Sponge docks and restaurants. My family loved Katerina’s for Greek food, only two blocks away. Owners are responsive and kind, we had some sleeping issues and they were there to help. Short walk away is Craig Park where we saw manatees and dolphins. Would definitely recommend.
