Villa Colonial is 4000 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space situated in the Sea of Cortez on 'El Mogote' in Paraiso del Mar's new private resort development.

It is a beautifully furnished 4 bedroom home including a detached one-bedroom casita that is perfect for a couple or 2 to 3 families who want to relax after a day of golf, fishing, boating, tennis, and shopping to name a few.

The home is the largest of the models in the development. It has two master suites with double sinks and sunken tubs, a third bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, and a detached casita with a queen bed and separate bathroom. There is also a pull-out queen bed in the living room, a Dining Table that will accommodate up to Eight Guests, and Kitchen Bar Area with 4 Stools.

This home has a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, a propane barbecue for the 'catch of the day, and includes the latest in electronics such as a 50-inch plasma TV, and surround sound. The home has WiFi as well.

The home is ideally situated within steps of the beach, community pool, tennis court, and an 18-hole golf course. It boasts ideal running trails for all levels of running enthusiasts.

If you choose to fly into the La Paz airport, it is a 15-minute short ride to the privately-owned Paraiso del Mar dock. A 5-minute ferry ride is included in the Rental Price (Passengers & Luggage Only NO Vehicles) from Marina Cortez to 'El Mogote' where your vacation rental is located. El Mogote is a privately owned peninsula situated across from the Malecon in downtown La Paz and accessible only by guests of Paraiso del Mar and golfers of the award-winning Arthur Hill's designed 18-hole golf course.

La Paz, (the City of Peace) is the capital of Baja California Sur and home to some of the world's best fishing, spectacular marine life, boating, snorkeling, and most beautiful sunsets. It is a one hour drive from the artsy town of Todos Santos, home of the famous 'Hotel California', a favorite surf spot of many, and a 2-hour drive from Cabo San Lucas.

The spectacular island 'Espiritu Santos' is a short boat ride away and provides the most spectacular blue water and snorkeling.

While downtown La Paz is home to many cultural activities, great shopping, and great restaurants, we can arrange grocery and catering services at a nominal fee. Daily maid services can also be arranged, or as often as you desire during your stay.
Whether it is a golf or fishing weekend you desire, a chance to swim with the whale sharks off our beach, or explore the beauty of the Sea of Cortez, our home is the perfect location to relax and unwind.

Our group included 3 teenage girls and their parents. The house was great for our group and having the chef option was a bonus. Would have appreciated a walk thru on arrival - that would be our only feedback.

We loved our stay at Casa 254. The location is peaceful and ideal if you want to have some distance between yourself and the town of La Paz. We enjoyed the pools and had the beach to ourselves a lot of the time. We would have liked to have an information guide that lists logistics and amenities of the resort. We had to do a lot of reconnaissance to discover that there are two pools on site (one with a bar), a breakfast restaurant and a dinner restaurant, tennis, volleyball, golf and kayak rentals. There is also a little store selling the basics at the condos, which is good to know because you have to take a 10 minute ferry to get to the mainland to stock up. From our casa, you also have to call a shuttle service to take you to and from the house to the ferry. There are free bikes you can borrow to get around too. Another thing that would have been helpful to know is that each guest needs a QR code to enter and leave the resort. These need to be shown every time you come and go. We had some delays getting into Mexico so we arrived late the first day and missed the last ferry. We had to drive out to the peninsula (which we don't recommend if you can avoid it - very long, sandy and bumpy). However, under normal circumstances it's easy enough to find street parking in La Paz and take the ferry. The house itself was great - large kitchen and lovely outdoor places to hang out. The concierge Ruben was usually very responsive. The ADA had no hot water. Overall would recommend!

The house was very nice and clean. Maybe a walk through on arrival would be nice and we had groceries delivered, which was very nice, but a little bit expensive in my opinion. Would have liked to have had a copy of the receipt from the store.

What a great property and location! The home is well furnished and equipped with all you need. the bed rooms are very nice, the kitchen is nice, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Ruben, the concierge is an amazing person and responded quickly to all of our questions! Big props to Ruben, he can arrange anything you need/want. We did the whale shark snorkel - courtesy of On Board Baja - amazing! Fishing with Rigoberto, was great. Defiantly rent a golf cart for your personal transportation around the property! Also, highly recommend you have Ruben stock your villa with groceries - that is the only negative - trying to get groceries in town and then back to the villa. Survivors restaurant at the condos did a great job cooking up our fresh caught fish! The restaurant at the golf course was so-so. Didn't get to golf on this trip - but the course looked great.

This is a huge place and nicely decorated. The two primary suites and casita made it perfect for us. We arranged to have groceries delivered for our arrival and to have meals cooked by a chef. The food was great and using WhatsApp was a great way to communicate. I’d recommend it to others.
