Great accomodstion

Bill and Melanie made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was very central for all our needs. We will definitely stay there again.

Quiet, lovely stay in a good neighbourhood

Lovely traditional house decorated with authentic antique furnishings. My upstairs room was spacious and comfortable, with an electric kettle, tea, and instant coffee. Microwave and fridge with a little fresh milk jug are in the hallway just outside, with dishes and cutlery. Breakfast is not included, perhaps misleading as it is named 'B&B'. However, it's available upon request, but do inform them beforehand if you arrive late and want it the next morning, served from 7:00 - 09:00. Internet connection is quite weak upstairs. Hosts are gracias. It is very quiet. In fact, I saw no one, although there were other guests, so it is for guests who want their privacy. The neighbourhood is lovely, still advisable not to walk in the surrounding park area for solo travellers. PE, unfortunately, is no place for casual strolling due to street crime.

My family & had an awesome stay. Bill & Melanie are the best hosts!

Oh! It felt like home. It’s generally so difficult to travel with kids but Bill & Melanie made our stay so so beautiful. So warm & welcoming, super helpful. We had everything like we were in our own home. From coffee, sugar, milk, kids entertainment to housekeeping. Our kids felt like they were at their grandparent’s house. The breakfast was so so delicious & exceptionally well served. You guys are very thoughtful. We really enjoyed our holiday. Kids don’t care about praises but our kids are also singing praises. You both are the best & our family will forever remember you. Noteworthy details: Everything is within a walkable distance & Just a small drive to the beach.

Oh! just a small thing I almost forgot about. The wardrobe had a distinct smell which stayed on your clothes and the extra blankets kept in there. If they can maybe freshen it up regularly. It happens with wood.

Great hosts, took time to get to know us, made sure we were comfortable, they have a mini Mr Video, fantastic breakfast and even became our photographers.

Die perfekten Gastgeber an einen wunderbaren Ort

Unglaublich zuvorkommende Gastgeber, die sich extrem bemüht haben und ausserordentlich freundlich waren. Sie sind extra früh auf und haben uns allen ein liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück bereitet. Die Lage zum Flughafen ist perfekt, mit Uber nur gerade fünf Minuten weit entfernt.

Since loadshedding has been with us for a long time, the accomodation coild be better prepared. even the emergency light stopped working after half an hour. No TV. no Other lights or power. The toilet watertank had to be filled by hand The heater was disconnected, in the winter???

The hospitality was great. We were greeted at the entrance by Bill, who introduced himself and Melanie. Bill took us through and informed us of the do's and don't, and what also was noted was the saving of water in the shower and that the water captured in the bucket when done showering will be put to good use. Our needs were met. Extra care was taken by Bill for when the loadshedding occurred informing us of times and providing us with portable lights. A flask was offered to us to have our morning coffee.

I would like to complement the staff of this guesthouse for all the effort done by ensuring that everything was sorted out as we had a double booking. The owner (Bill) sorted the problem out himself and made alternative plans to ensure another guesthouse was booked to correct the issue. Thanks a lot for all your effort and professionalism towards this matter.

A little slice of paradise in PE

Beautiful character filled B&B set in a stunning garden. Location is perfect close to shops and restaurants. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts Bill and Melanie took great care of me. I would highly recommend The Farmhouse.

Had to make sure I was fully dressed each time I had to access the bathroom across the landing from the bedroom - a minor issue.

Perfect stay - we will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who needs.

The location is perfect! Central to everything! Hosts are absolutely fantastic! Made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Bill and Melanie were amazing!

What a beautiful well kept gem !

I did not wait for confirmation when I made the booking. It was close to the airport and was easy to find. On my arrival I was assisted immediately and felt comfortable and safe. i loved the decor style and found everything very clean and neat.

Nothing to complain about. I am used to water restrictions and I was well informed with the necessary preparations in place.
