About this house rental

Kemah Cottages on Walsh, Hospitality House and Tiny Dream Cottage, are located in unincorporated area called Bayview, just 3 miles south of the Kemah Boardwalk, and 3 blocks from Galveston Bay. Like its postal neighbor, Bacliff, the area contains a diversity of homes and inhabitants. It might not be unusual to hear the neighbor's rooster crow midday, or hear a ball game or music wafting through the air on a Sunday afternoon. It's country style by the Bay.We believe you shouldn't have to bring the little things you need for daily life, so expect the salt and pepper, coffee and tea fixings, and the bath amenities you expect from a hotel. We have spare beach towels and starter sun tan lotion in case you forget yours. There will be a variety of bed pillows to choose from because everyone's neck is different. Throw your wet towels in the laundry bin as you leave, and we'll clean them up!
Oh, and the cable television and wireless internet are ready.
For those with children, we can provide one convertible baby/toddler bed upon request for a $10 a stay charge. And, bedding for the sofa is available if you've booked for it.

The cottage was really cute and cozy. Just the right amount of space for relaxing. The mattresses were a little uncomfortable. A little yard maintenance was needed with vegetation by the entry. There were plenty of towels and other necessities. We enjoyed outings to Kemah boardwalk and Tanger outlet mall. Travel to and from was easy..Overall a very nice place to stay. We arrived a little early thinking we would've ran into traffic. They were very nice to let us check in early. The house is in a great location. Lots to do just 5 minutes from the house. Thanks for making our stay very relaxing. Hope to come back again.

We mostly enjoyed our stay here. The house was fine and as described. However, the location we felt was not accurately described. While we never felt unsafe (we would've left if so), we did feel uncomfortable during our stay. There are a couple of trailer homes next door (with roosters that start crowing at 4am) and what appeared to be an abandoned home on the other side. I had to go to work one afternoon and my wife and kids stayed at the house, and neither of us was very relaxed during that time. It is probably a good place to stay if on a budget, but we were wishing we would've spent a little more on a better area. The kids still had a good time so was a good trip overall (visited Galveston Island, Kemah Boardwalk, and Houston). Kemah boardwalk is about 8 minutes away.

We had a nice, easy stay at the Holiday Cottage in Bacliff. It was our second stay. It's easy to find and park there. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds and bath are comfortable. We visit our family in the area so we haven't cooked many lunches and dinners, there, but I think that would work well. Thanks for having us, Greg and Linda.

We made last minute plans and were able to get this property scheduled with no fuss or problem. We had our dog with us and we all enjoyed the spaces to walk. The hosts provided everything we needed to make our stay pleasant.

Great house for our week vacation to Galveston/Kemah/JSC The neighborhood was perfect to walk in the mornings and feel the cool breeze of the gulf. Close to shops/restaurants and entertainment. Property management were great to communicate.

We loved our little home away from home. Great location if you rent a car - near major connecting highways witching thirty to fifty minutes from most places. Owners were very thoughtful and we had everything we needed for a great vacation.

This is a cozy property with a comfortable sitting room, soft beds, great temperature control, and easy access to the area. Kitchen was supplied, and they had coffees and teas for guests. Generous offerings of towels and beach gear, too (although, we never made it to the beach!). I will definitely consider this Bacliff home again on my next trip to visit my TX relatives!

This was our second time staying at the Cottage! The location is very convenient to League City where our family lives. The owner Linda has thought of everything. Extra tea bags, coffee filters, some pre package condiments. There is shampoo, conditioner and soap. We don’t do any cooking but you could. It’s perfect for our needs when visiting the area.

Very clean and neat place to stay. Property manager is prompt to respond. House is nice and having amenities provided was very convenient. The only thing I wish I knew is that the closest beaches were all private beaches so going to the beach required driving. Overall, I recommend this property.

Greg and Linda's place was our home away from home for over a week while our son attended NASA space camp. The cottage was well-stocked and the owners were extremely responsive and accommodating. The fenced backyard was pawfect for our fur babies. The location was a short drive to camp, the Kemah Boardwalk, and Galveston island beaches. We hope to return in the future!
