Die Lage ist sehr gut, aber die Qualität des Hotels ist schlecht.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich sehr gut- sehr nahe an der Innenstadt und verkehrstechnisch gut zu erreichen. Frühstück war OK, normaler Standard.

Das Hotel ist alt und bedarf dringend der Renovierung. Die Stühle in der Bar und im Essraum sind zwar stabil, aber der Bezug (Kunstleder) bröckelt schlimm. Auf die Bank zum Essen mochten wir nicht sitzen, da dort quasi kein Bezug mehr war. Der Teppich in den Fluren und den Zimmern war ekelhaft und sehr fleckig. Der Service in der Bar ließ zu wünschen übrig- mehrfach mussten wir Mitarbeiter suchen. Mit den Mitarbeitern konnte man sich nur in englisch verständigen.

Hebben het prima na onze zin gehad

Aardig personeel. Lekker gedineerd. Goed ontbijt, komt niets te kort.

Wij wisten dat de lift niet werkte. De trap omlaag was nogal stijl.

Pleasant

I pay for one big room with balcon and one mattress for two people, and want to give me a room without balcon and with two mattress how much my I was with my man. After I go and I said to change my room and give for the same money the small room what in booking it's was more cheap, but no problem, i know to don't come back!

The elevator out of order since a while. And they put me on floor 4. Ordered Breakfast in the Room. No go as the elevator is not working. All and all.not ver positif. Tim

Exhausting

The lift was down for quite some time and we had to carry our toddlers a very steep flight of stairs up and down. An old staircase can have its charm, but it is outright dangerous to handle a toddler. The next issue was the breakfast. It was not fresh.

The stay is ok but not worth the money. Please fix the elevator.

The staff was nice and the room was fairly clean and the breakfast was ok

The elevator was broken and our room was in the fourth floor. It was really annoying to go up the stairs in the old building. Room was too small and no air conditioning in the “4 star hotel”. It was just too hot in summer.

Fun to explore Middelburg

Nice location between the train station and the city centre.

The rooms was really small. Not even enough room to stand between the bed and the wall. On neither side. Ridiculous expensive for the broom closet you get.

Good stay, a little bit too expensive for what it's worth

Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Personel was very attentive and nice to us (big shoutout to them!). Very well located and easily accessible in car by parking it at the students' dorms right across the river.

Breakfast was pretty poor in what was offered, bacon was the crispiest I've ever tasted (not good), quallity of food at breakfast not as high as I would've expected for the price as well of course.....

Luckily we went out all day, if not it would have been a disaster.

The room 101 was mini, mini, mini, Not as showen on images. No airco, it was very hot insiders. No refrigerator. Housekeeping was a bit poor.

Breakfast service was understaff and therefore at certain moments they could not follow the flow. Evening service on the terrace was very absent, we had to wait wait and wait, while nobody showed up. Sole people left the terrace because service was to slow.

Good location of the hotel near train station and close to the down town. Clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Hotel is quite small and old but cosy. Breakfast is good.

Problems with WIFI, quite unstable connection.
