Diesmal gar nicht lustig

Der Service vor Ort war sonst immer gut.

Wenn man die XL Zimmer bucht um dem Alltag in Deutschland und deren derzeitiger Politik für kurze Zeit entfliehen zu können, der kann u. U. eine Überraschung erleben. Beim Blick aus unserem Fenster sah man direkt auf eine Flüchtlingsunterkunft. Dies kann man gut oder schlecht finden, jedenfalls fehlt diese Information auf Booking und vor allem auf der Webseite der Unterkunft! Mann sollte zumindest die Möglichkeit haben selbst zu entscheiden ob man dies möchte oder nicht. In unserem Fall war es so das wir gerade wegen der sehr schlechten Entscheidungen und dem noch schlechteren Kommunikationsstil dieser derzeitigen Regierung In D für kurze Zeit entfliehen wollten um dies alles reflektieren zu können und wichtige Entscheidungen für unsere Zukunft abzuwägen. Es wurde selbst beim Einchecken nichts davon gesagt. Dies fanden wir sehr befremdlich. Wir sind davon ausgegangen das wir aktuell noch in einer Demokratie in Europa leben. Dies passt mit unserer Erfahrung vor Ort nicht zusammen. Der Mitarbeiter im Check in sagte uns er hätte es vergessen uns zu sagen.,,, hah hah. auch den Umstand das der Gang zwischen unserem Wohnblock und der Rezeption gesperrt war weil dort irgend ein Event von sehr finster schauenden Arabern stattfand. Weil ich trotzdem den Gang durchschritten habe weil ich keine Wahl hatte ohne einen großen Umweg zu machen wurde mir Gewalt angedroht! Ich habe mich nicht einschüttern lassen und habe mich bei der Rezeption beschwert. Diese haben mir einen größeren Umweg gezeigt ohne das Haus verlassen zu müssen. Vorab Info beim Einchecken Fehlanzeige. Das in dem Hotel Konferenzen abgehalten werden ist normal das wussten wir. War zuvor auch kein Problem. Wenn man Pech hat wird man mit sehr fragwürdigen Dingen in dem Hotel konfrontiert die vorab nicht kommuniziert werden. Wir haben das Hotel am nächsten Tag verlassen obwohl uns 2 Getränkegutscheine angeboten wurden… Alternativ hätten wir ein anderes Zimmer haben können.

Very big hotel , nice breakfast and comfy beds. Could be a little room for improvement with the cleanliness of the room.

We had a water leak in the room . Also noticed the room was a little dirty but still enjoyed our stay

very expensive and not value for money.

the room was much smaller than expected, located at the far end of a vast complex so there was a long walk to reception and the car park, which one has to pay for ! there is also a tax you pay for each night so the bill you think you will get when you arrive is not the price you pay !. i had thought i had booked breakfast as well when booking but it turned out not to be and the cost of the breakfast is like the room well over priced for what you get.

decent stay

The room was clean, surroundings of the hotel were quiet and green. We chose this hotel just because it is rather close to the airport and we had an early flight.

The room was small, no AC, just a portable fan. The hotel is absolutely huge, scattered on many buildings, had to make quite a „journey” from the reception to the room and back to the car, after a very long and tiring day. Maybe better signings would help.

Overall amazing experience , class one facility and superb location , friendly staff

The ambience is excellent. Rooms are super comfy with decent lighting and comfortable bed. Showers are very good and relaxing. The reception staff are very helpful and caring.

The service at the restaurant are slow. The food was served raw and the staff didn't even apologize. Even after we already complained about the raw food , there was no sense of apology shown and we had to wait quiet a long for the bill. We were only offered a composition and apologies after we talked to reception.

Irritated to say the least

Location and Facilities

There were no towels or towel for the floor in front of the shower. I found out around midnight. I called the reception and at first had a discussion that I needed to come to the reception to get the towels. The distance to the reception is at least 5 minutes walking one way. After I got really mad they delivered the towel to my room, only to find out they just brought one… this proces took around 30 minutes to get 2 towels. I had to leave at 7 am for my flight. Result didn’t sleep well and I was highly irritated. It is a nice Hotel but this is bad. I expect more from such a nice facility. Didn’t like the fact that I had to spend a lot of energy reasoning with the reception as to why I should not come down from room 756 all the way to the reception and back.

It was easy to get to, and they had 24hour reception which was good, as I was arriving late. The room was really nice, spacious and clean.

It's a very big hotel, so it was a little bit of a walk to the room.
