A short but enjoyable stay.

Staff were friendly and helpful, we had a top floor room which meant a couple of flights of stairs (no lift) but well worth it for the views from the balcony. Close to shops and restaurants and beach, if your taking a car (good luck, there is one narrow street in and one narrow street out) parking is 200-300m away (€50/ night) we were only staying one night so left the cases in the car and took an overnight bag. As you would expect, there are a lot of slopes, steps and stairs and some challenging driving if you decide to take a car but Positano and Villa La Tartana are well worth a visit

Birthday in Positano

Amazing location, in center, near by the beach. The staff incredibly polite. We got all the support by Alfonso, helping us with trips and taxi and recommending local restaurants. Got nice breakfast by the lovely Maria, feeling like at home🥰. I didnt stay in any other positano hotel, but visted the restaurants of them, and based on this I can confirm, the most polite and cosy place. Will visot again for sure.

Perfect Hotel for your stay in Positano

The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast is included and was a highlight of the hotel! Alfonso at the front desk was the best hotel staff member I have ever encountered. He is genuinely excited to see you and to help you enjoy your stay. He helped us organize taxis to and from the airport, booked luggage transport for us, and was just genuinely interested in how we were doing! It is also located very close to the beach where all the transportation to and from the city by boat happens. An amazing place to stay.

A++ Staff. Alfonso was the best host I've ever met. Our train was very delayed and we missed our ferry. Alfonso arranged a private taxi to pick us up and got us to Positano. Excellent location within minutes of the beach, port, restaurants, and shopping.

Rooms and bathrooms were a little cramped.

The location is very close to the beach and in the middle of the town centre. A bit noisy at night, but otherwise excellent. The room was big, with a big bathroom, very clean. Small balcony for sitting outside. No view

Super location and friendly staff

The location is fabulous, just a few flights up from the beach. Friendly staff especially Maria, Olga and Clementina. Alphonso on the reception was also super helpful and arranged a porter to take my bags down to the port.

There was no coffee / tea making facilities in the room. I would have loved to have a cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning or evening.

The perfect place to stay in Positano with beautiful ocean views.

We had to book last minute and day of. It far exceeded our expecations! It was very close to the beach and where the ferry drops you off. My mother could not walk the stairs up to the top where our first booking was reserved so we booked this last minute. It was more afffordable than our other reservation and had a better view! My mother's room had a sun room with a couch. It really was perfect! The staff was also very accomodating, helpful and very nice.

The people and their hospitality made this stay very enjoyable and I would recommend it to everyone.

I came to Positano with my mom. Location was very important for us because I didn’t want her climbing too many stairs and our stay at Villa La Tartana couldn’t have been better. The hotel is centrally located and very easy to find. The hotel is very clean and the rooms have everything you need. This is a family run hotel but there is 24 hr desk service and all the staff are just wonderful, especially Alfonso who helped us arrange excursions.

We stayed in a partial sea view room. If you really care about having a room with a view I would recommend staying in the full sea view rooms.

The location was perfect and the staff could not have been more inviting and helpful, overall best hotel I’ve stayed in in Europe! The room had a beautiful sea view and was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!

A Beautiful two days in Beautiful Positano

The location of the hotel is perfect for a visit to Positano. Our room was heavenly. Spacious, comfortable and with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the sea. We slept with the door open so as to be able to hear the waves all night. Bathroom was large. Breakfast offered a varied selection and was excellent. Highly recommendable.

I could have used a little more light in the bathroom.
