The location was great, the building was beautiful, the air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable.
8.0
We were surprised that the room was so small. The pool was not opened and the distance between the hotel and the pool was a very long walk the best that we could tell.

Large spacious room and bathroom. Lovely grounds. Staff very kind and helpful. Walking distance to historic center. I thought Paradors were in such former buildings as castles, forts, or monasteries but this Parador apparently was an old country home.

I loved the area outside the bar. We sat and had nice cocktails and snacks under the shade of umbrellas. The grounds were nicely manicured. Our waitress though overworked, was pleasant. The beds were comfortable, the room was spotless and the people at the desk were kind. We like staying in Paradors.
We were disappointed that the air conditioning had not yet been turned on (April 30-May2) The reception floor was nice and cool, but our room was super hot and stuffy. Though we kept the curtains and shutters pulled when we were not in the room, the sun beating in made the room hot. When we opened the windows, there was no breeze to be had! When we asked at the desk for the a/c , they said it hadn't been turned on for the season. We finally asked for a fan, and it was delivered- it made the room tolerable until the sunset and the temp dropped. We were also sad that the pool was not ready for use- still green. We had been to several places before this and all their pools were open (and a/c was available).

after spending many nights in albergues and small private rooms, it was wonderful to have a spacious room with a couch and amazing view. reception staff were great and some laundry was done fir and delivered to my room after just a few hours.. such a treat

Attractive, high-end property with nice rooms and common areas.
it is located quite a way from the central historic district around the cathedral in Tui where the shops and restaurants are located.

We had been told about Parador Hotels by friends and were looking forward to our stay. We were, frankly, underwhelmed by the one at Tui. There is nothing wrong with it, but it is a bit tired, a bit stuffy and very expensive for what you get, especially compared to other hotels in Spain. It is, however, well placed to explore the old town of Tui.
Very expensive for what it is. The Beth room had mildew on the tile grout and could do with a spruce up. Breakfast was not great.

Space, nice views

Disappointed by the facilities such as no water in the room and quite dark and gloomy
Water in the room and maybe a kettle.
Also overpriced for what you got.
Stayed in other Paradores and Pousadas and much better facilities.

The building is very beautiful and as booked, we had a wonderful view to the river Minho. Beds were very comfortable.
At arrival, we were informed that breakfast should be scheduled and that only after 8:45 a.m could we get a place. As pilgrims, walking the Camino Portugues, it would be impossible to have breakfast before departure. We got no message about breakfast schedule preferences before arrival and it turned up down our plannings for the early departure. We also had to book a table for dinner, which was available only after 9:00 p.m. (to late for pilgrims!!). The rigidity of the staff proved wrong since we simply walked in the restaurant at 20:20 and got a table (the restaurant was nearly empty all through the evening). The restaurant was not worthy the value they charged.

Lovely traditional hotel, room was lovely, breakfast was very nice, great to have a pool also. can walk into the town easily.
The bar closes early which was unfortunate because my friends and I wanted to have a few drinks together at night. Also we were attending a wedding and I needed an iron a couple of times. they only have one iron in the hotel and when someone else has it there is no way to get it. the receptionist didn’t know which room had it. surely a hotel can invest in more than one iron - they are not expensive.

Rooms are a good size and the linens and toiletries are very good quality. Breakfast is very good too with plenty of fresh fruit options and a good selection of meats, cheeses and eggs etc.
The bar was quite a bit more expensive for a drink that many other local spots, which came as a surprise. Some, though not all, of the staff were less than welcoming and we kind of felt like we were in the way asking for anything.

Good and rich breakfast, pleasant hotel!
Swimming Pool is great, but constantly occupied by hyperactive youth and children so swimming was only an option at 8am in the morning!
