Don't take my word for it
The view was amazing. The aircon was sufficient when we could access the panel. The SPA was amazing!
I have been here a few times hoping that perhaps this would be better than the previous stay. Upon arrival: Dirty plungers, etc, from previous guests Taped up an aircon controller with masking tape Lamp shades skew (took photos of all the above) Room charging mess, Was told one thing, delivered another During stay: All complaints were just brushed off, the one manager I sat down with said don't worry everything will be sorted and a free breakfast (I hate free things, provide a service that I am paying for and we are good). Take a guess. Nothing happened. Dirty wet towels that were used numerous times were just hung back instead of replaced. I literally wrote house keeping a note on the pad, Please replace dirty towels. Please replace the dirty plunger. Then our door was open overlooking the ocean, and suddenly the room was filled with cigarette smoke... it stopped for 20 min and then again, loads of cigarette smoke. The balcony from neighbours was blowing onto our room. I called reception and explained, and she said well close your door." I then proceded to state that even legally, this was unacceptable and that our right to be cigarette smoke-free was being taken away. She mumbled something about calling them and just dropped the phone rudely. Checkout: Upon checkout, I paid R150 give or take, and then when the card swiped and slip printed, the receptionist just stood there frowning, looking at her PC and I am waiting for her to say thank you, we are done, hope you have a nice day whatever... instead, she looked me in the eye. "Anything else i can help you with?" That is astonishing, rught? I wrote an email to management, and the reply I git was that it would be investigated. Conclusion: For conferences, where standards are low and ine night sleepovers, perhaps great. For the holiday, well, one would be better off choosing a more holiday and family-friendly setup for recreational purposes.

It's an average hotel but not worth the price tag.
The location was good. The staff were friendly and respectful. Hotel was clean and the design was good. The elevators were easy to operate, and they were fast.
The WIFI was unstable and slow, the sliding door in my room could not lock. The built quality of some parts of the property were below par. The breakfast was not worth it, you are better off eating at a popular franchise restaurant. TV had poor visual quality, very static like an old analogue TV, the symbols on the remote were faded or non-existent, the remote was falling apart. We requested sugar and never received it. Some amenities like water and some of the bathroom amenities were not replenished everyday. Some areas on the property require maintenance.

Great position in Milnerton, poor service and price to match.
The location of the unit was spectacular, due to the surrounding views of Milnerton beach. The two rooms were spacious. The open top balcony provided much needed open air access and late night lounging with a view.
The third bedroom was an ensuite containing just a shower and no toilet. That design philosophy makes absolute no sense, especially when there is space for a toilet. The kitchen was infested with cockroaches, we spent a lot of time ensuring food was not exposed. The cluster was being re-painted hence there were constant visitors to the rooftop balcony, thereby having full access to the unit and all of our belongings. We had to permanently lock the balcony door during the day. The safe in the room wasn't functional, of which got replaced with a safe that could be carried away.
