Ottimo Hotel Espel

Ottimo albergo posizionato a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro. Camera spaziosa, luminosa e pulita. Bagno pulito e confortevole. Personale cordiale e gentile. Accanto all’hotel c’è un piccolo parcheggio e con un po’ di fortuna troverete posto (circa 20 euro al giorno, non troverete prezzi più bassi). Colazione variegata e completa. Andorra merita una visita soprattutto per le chiese romaniche incastonate tra paesaggi stupendi e personale gentilissimo pronto e desideroso di spiegarvi la storia millenaria delle bellissime chiese. Bellissima Andorra e grazie hotel Espel.

Lo que más me gustó el trato personalizado y la atención que mostraron los empleados de recepción en todo momento súper bien te hacían sentir muy cómodos y cualquier cosa que necesitabas estaban pendiente de ti el hotel está súper bien ubicado muy limpio muy recomendable

Good location, narrow garage, overall good choice

Close to the city center, good wifi, decent rooms

Just a warning that a parking garage is quite narrow and for some might be a pain to park. For us was alright, 11€ per night.

Good value dor money

Very good location in the centre of andorra. It is convenient to walk to the restaurants and Caldea spa from here. The hotel has a vintage vibe. Even though the interior is not new, it is very well maintained. It has a very good price quality ratio. I will certainly come back if I visit andorra again.

Hotel staff didn't offer us the parking at the hotel. We end up using the parking lot in front of the hotel, which costs 23 euro per day.

Walking distance to shopping area and restaurants. Very good room size. Parking lot available in front of the hotel, one should wait some minutes to catch one spot.. but it´s doable. Lack of restaurant services but the breakfast was good.

Rude service

Room was facing mountain view rather than granite wall like some of the other rooms. Rooms were rather clean. However some dark short hair were stuck at the wall when we arrived.

First of all, there is no parking available at the hotel. The capacity is so small that you will likely not have a space. They don't make reservations and can't bother to estimate somehow when the space would be free based on guests' check out dates. A space at the parking outside if free costs 24 euro per day instead of 11 euro. At the check in the young man at reception didn't know English. When my French boyfriend spoke French with him and inquired about parking and if it was safe to keep the car outside the hotel, the young man replied "it's safe here, it's not France!". We found this remark rude and uncalled for. At the same time the reception had an infestation of large flying ants swarming and landing on people. I dislike the insects in general, and had to stand there during the slowest check ever. No explanation or apology was recieved. Further, during our stay, the cleaning ladies were very loud, very early. I understand that it's more fun to work when you can scream the latest news to a friend cleaning the room down the corridor, but my day doesn't necessarily have to start at the same time as the cleaning. After two days of staff refusing to speak English, on the check out, an old woman at the desk suddenly started to speak Englsih after I commented to my partner that this hotel was the worse one of the whole trip. Aside from miserable service the hotel is run down and in misrepair. There is one power plug in the middle of the room P.S. I hope this helps someone: it's 2 cigarette boxes plus 2 liters of spirits over 22% percent OR 3 litters of alcohol under 22% per adult person. Plus 900eur worth of goodies. They say its less cigarettes to scare you but it's tricky to find official info. They didn't check us on the way in or out by car. On the way out by the road towards France there were 3 customs officers standing around but all cars went freely. Enjoy your stay in Andorra!

Good hotel, clean rooms, good location, happy with our stay in Andorra

Hotel has a good location, walking distance from center and main attractions but also in a quiet area. Personal was polite and respectful, offered a lot of information regarding our stay and were ready to address any complain we had. The room was very clean, same as the bathroom, also the view of the room was very nice, seeing the mountains in the distance. The bed was comfortable, had no issue to have a good sleep. Parking was free over the weekend. Overall a very good stay in Andorra, very good price quality ratio.
