Prima hotel met zeer nette kamers die van alle gemakken zijn voorzien en een eigen parkeergarage onder het hotel (dat midden in het centrum ligt). Wij waren er met een vriendengroep maar dit hotel is geschikt voor alle type reizigers want het ligt in hartje centrum en beschikt ook over een prima bar.
Ik kan geen minpunten noemen voor dit hotel, gewoon een aanrader voor een heerlijk verblijf.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Gent. Das Personal war total freundlich, Sie haben sogar Deutsch mit uns gesprochen 😊 Das Zimmer war perfekt ganz toll neu renoviert 🤩 und die Lage mitten im Zentrum. Was will man mehr 😊

De ligging.
Het personeel: bij de reservatie een kamer gevraagd op een hoge verdieping, ver van de lift. Bij het inchecken: kamer naast de lift. De receptionist zei dat er geen andere kamers beschikbaar waren, terwijl op de booking.com site er nog veel beschikbaar waren. Totaaal geen gesprek mee te voeren met die man

Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker. Zeer mooie kamers met veel comfort. Vriendelijk personeel. De ligging is perfect.
Het is niet goedkoop. Toen we naar ons hotel terug kwamen was de bar juist aan het sluiten waardoor we geen drankje meer konden krijgen ter afsluiting van de avond.

We were very close to the renovation work so was noisy in the day which I know was unavoidable we were attending a wedding so was in the room more than we would of been normally.Also a shame that the restaurant was closed but again can understand it’s because improvements were being made .

Perfecte locatie. Nette en ruime kamer met comfortabele bedden. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met vriendelijk personeel.
Ze waren op dezelfde gang aan het verbouwen waardoor het er in de gangen ongezellig en minder mooi uitzag en de welness gesloten bleek.

We stayed in one of the beautifully refurbished rooms, excellent room and bathroom, charging point for our EV in the basement garage, we had a fantastic stay.

Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal - in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten im Stadtzentrum und der Fußgängerzone. Das Personal an der Rezeption war - schon im Vorfeld bei den prompt beantworteten E-Mail-Anfragen - sehr freundlich und zur Begrüßung gab es ein Glas Prosecco!
Das Zimmer war ruhig und sauber. Standardmäßig gab es einen Wasserkocher für die Zubereitung von Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer.
Für eine Anreise mit dem Auto ist das Hotel zu empfehlen, da es über eine eigene Tiefgarage verfügt; der Parkplatz war im Gesamtpreis enthalten und musste nicht zusätzlich bezahlt werden.
Leider war das halbe Hotel gerade eine Baustelle (April/Mai 2024). Auf diese Tatsache wurde im Vorfeld weder auf Booking.com noch vom Hotel selber hingewiesen. Durch Baulärm wurde man nicht beeinträchtigt, dennoch konnten wir so nicht das wirkliche Potential des Hotels ausschöpfen (Rezeption war in der Bar, Aufzüge teilweise gesperrt etc...).
Als optimierungsbedürfig (und trotz der Bezeichnung "Zimmer new style" veraltet) ist das Bad im Hotelzimmer anzusehen: Es verfügt über eine Dusche in der Badewanne. Dies entspricht nicht mehr dem heute bei einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarteten Standard. Außerdem war durch die Konstruktion der Duschabtrennung nach der Benutzung fast das gesamte Badezimmer überschwemmt, da das Wasser auch außen an der Wanne herunterlief.
Außerdem hätte das Frühstück (auch angesichts des Preises) besser und mit mehr etwas mehr Auswahl sein können: Am ersten Tag gab es nur eine Sorte Brötchen, die angebotenen Säfte waren nur Wasser mit Geschmack, eine Sorte Obst, Joghurt etc. Auch empfanden wir die Sauberkeit und Hygiene im Frühstücksraum verbesserungswürdig. Die Möbel waren arg abgenutzt und verschlissen. Es steht zu hoffen, dass diese Umstände der bevorstehenden Sanierung geschuldet sind: Die in der Lobby dargestellten Bilder des zukünftigen Aussehens lassen hoffen!

L'hôtel est excveptionnellement bien situé. Il était en rénovation, ce qui occasionnait quelques désagréments mineurs. Les déjeuners-buffets étaient bons, mais chers. Gand est en général une ville chère.

Buen desayuno y excelente para visitar el centro
No nos avisaron que el hotel está en construcción y renovación. Nos despertaron martillazos a las 8 am y luego los trabajadores querían entrar al cuarto para revisar la ducha. Fue muy incómodo ya que no solo era temprano pero también mi madre estaba tomando la ducha. Luego de llamar a recepción sobre la situación se me indicó de no dejarlos pasar . Escuchaba que seguían afuera del cuarto y era incómodo para mis padres y para mi. Finalmente no pude tomar mi ducha . Al rato el de mantenimiento entro a la habitación sin esperar que nosotros los huéspedes le autorizáramos a pasar. Nos estábamos cambiando y el abrió de golpe la puerta . No le dejé entrar… cuando íbamos tomando el ascensor el agarró las gradas corriendo y al bajar a recepción el de mantenimiento estaba hablando con el gerente diciéndole “ su versión” de lo sucedido. Y el gerente solo nos decía excusas sobre lo que había pasado . Y aunque le explicamos que tuvieron que avisarnos si había problema en la habitación el no quiso entender por qué estábamos molestos . Finalmente en compensación por el taladro a las 8 am , los constructores intentado entrar , y el de mantenimiento entrando de golpe a la habitación solo se nos ofreció pagar el Uber a la estación de tren … ( solo cuesta 7 € ) no lo aceptamos y nos fuimos .

A localização do hotel é muito boa, super central. Mesmo assim, o hotel é de fácil acesso por carro e tem estacionamento próprio. As instalações são novas e modernas. Os quartos foram reformados recentemente. O café da manhã foi excelente. A equipe de funcionários foi super gentil. O hotel não só aceita cachorros como forneceu caminha, vasilhas e ainda deu um brinquedo de presente.

Les chambres sont très peu isolées niveau sonore. Le bruit dans le couloir fut vraiment important jusqu'1h du matin et dès 6h les portes des chambres ont claqué sur tout notre étage, nous réveillant complètement. La salle de bain, pour une chambre rénovée, et donc plus chère, était très rudimentaire

La habitación que nos asignaron en un principio era mejorable, daba a un patio con la ventana a ras de suelo. No entendí el porqué no nos ofrecieron otra hasta no exigir que nos la cambiarán, teniendo en cuenta que había otra pero con vistas a la calle.
