Clean hotel and easy to get around Brussels.

except for its proximity to the main railway station, there is nothing positive about the hotel and this very positive point is also turns negative when you find people roaming around the hotel leisurely giving you weird intimidating looks, making you feel unsafe!
room and bathroom - was not being cleaned properly - upon raising the concern, reception did not respond. intercom in room was not working. even the blanket covers were torn and sheets were dirty (see pic)
location - though close to main railway station, surrounding felt unsafe as lots of people were loitering around and usually look at you weirdly!
breakfast - containers were not refilled during the breakfast window once they were finished! staff starts cleaning the breakfast spread around 9:30am though the breakfast window closes at 10am in weekday and 10:30am in weekends (we stayed through weekday to weekend) and almost all the days we stayed there, they closed the juice and coffee/tea dispensers by 9:45 am. all of the staffs in breakfast area are always in hurry. Served half rotten fruits - especially bananas and grapes). Poor management and security. Will never choose ibis anywhere again and will spread the word to save people from spending money and wasting the holidays!

Great location near the train station. Friendly staff at the front desk.
The bartender was rude. If you don't like foreigners then you shouldn't have a job at a hotel across from an international train station. Food choices were slim the first 2 days as the bartender admitted to not having stocked up for a busy weekend.

The hotel has a fantastic location very close to Gare du Midi so excellent for the Eurostar and connections onwards.
The staff are lovely, friendly and super helpful.
The breakfast was amazing.
The hotel room had a mouldy bathroom, half a toilet roll (for a family of three), very thin towels and stained sheets.
There was a sign in reception about child sex expiolatation and trafficking which I suppose was intended to reassure us they were vigilant to prevent it but it made us feel alarmed about what had previously happened at the hotel that such a sign was needed.

Pessima, suja, a privada estava MARROM, a parte do box da cama tinha uma mancha de algo escorrido, quarto todo tinha um cheiro absurdo de limão, tão forte que era difícil de respirar, chão todooo manchado. Pessimo, tanto a parte de limpeza quanto os móveis.
Localização também deixa a desejar, perto da estação de Bruxelas porém uma área bem simples da cidade, com muito cheiro de xixi, uma área abandonada.

Esta al frente de la estación Gare Du Midi, sin embargo el sector no me produjo mucha confianza pues hay mucho habitante de calle.
La relación calidad precio. Me parece costoso para lo que ofrece.

Muy cerca del autobús y de la zona turística
Alguien entró a nuestra habitación ya estando ahí, se escucha todo el ruido de la gente en otras habitaciones y pasillo, se escuchan los pasos de los demás huéspedes, no hay agua de cortesía, almohadas muy duras

Zimmer sehr groß. Personal freundlich. Lage sehr gut, da direkt neben einem großen Bahnhof. Ich konnte bereits um 12 Uhr in mein Zimmer. Ich würde wieder hier buchen.
Schimmel in der Dusche. Als ich um 9:30 Uhr zum Frühstück kam, gab es nicht mehr alles. Außerdem waren die Tische im Frühstücksraum alle schmutzig.

The location is really good. Close to Brussels gare du Midi, metro, tram, supermarket.
The hotel is quite old. It does not look clean. It is better to provide a kettle, rather than a TV that most people don’t use nowadays. The location of the hotel is really good, however, it seems that there are gangster in this area. So, sometimes it feels unsafe.

The location was excellent with it being opposite Gare de Midi railway station where Eurostar trains arrive and depart from.
The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, and it actually had a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities.
The scrambled eggs at breakfast were delicious, as were the other food items available, which included baked beans, bread, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and cereals.
There is a small supermarket a couple of doors down on the right, but it is not open until late. That's also where the local cafés and restaurants are located, which sell mainly burgers and kebabs. There is also an Italian restaurant there.
There is a lack of really good restaurants around, but there are a lot of burger restaurants in the vicinity.
There is no actual evening restaurant in the hotel but cooked snacks like pizza is available and it was delicious.
The streets were disgusting with overfilled bins and other bags of rubbish on the pavement.

Locatie. Was voor doorreis.
Opzich op de kamer niets aan te merken, proper en babybed stond klaar.
Op voorhand mail gestuurd met de vraag om een kamer niet te hoog in het gebouw te krijgen, door claustrofobie en dus geen gebruik maken van de lift. Alleen met baby, grote trekrugzak en buggy. Ze gingen hier rekening mee houden.
Kamer gekregen op de hoogste verdieping, en helemaal vanachter in de gang. Dit is toch echt gewoon om moedwillig te doen!
Dit is echt klantonvriendelijk en zeer jammer...

De kamer was erg warm airco werkte niet. Rooster in badkamer was erg vies. Douchekop zat veel kalk aan. Er zaten geen batterijen in afstandbediening.

The beds were comfortable.
My room was so smoky we had to open the windows because we couldn’t stand the smell. One of the housekeepers gave us some spray. Secondly the toilet seat was broken to point that it scratched my daughter’s thigh.

Hotel vicinissimo alla stazione Midi. Ciò rende facilissimi e comodissimi gli spostamenti sia dentro bruxelles sia quelli per le città vicine ed aeroporto, tuttavia la zona della stazione non è una zona molto bella.
Camera ampia, spaziosa, calda e silenziosa.
L'acqua della doccia non era particolarmente calda.
Abbiamo trovato un capello nel bagno al nostro arrivo, accanto il lavandino.

The whole trip was ridiculous. We entered the room and the shower was inside of the bedroom for 3 people, which is not close to be explained in pictures. The window of the room wasn’t opening and it’s highly dangerous for 3 people to sleep in terms of lack of oxygen. There isn’t any toilet brush in the bathroom. The bed upstairs for 3rd person wasn’t even made, we made it ourselves and there was a hair on top of its cover. Why do I have to make my own bed? I have never seen such thing in my entire life. We also have stayed in İbis Brussels the night before and it was neither awful. The first room they signed us wasn’t cleaned and there were some other’s belongings. We called reception and changed the room but it was so-called ‘cleaned’ where there are drops of unknown liquids on top of the counter and table. We disgusted after such bad experiences and suggest you to run away from staying in ibis.

Very spacious and comfortable room, nice bar area and the location is obviously great for the Eurostar. 15-20 minute walk into the centre. Good value for money.
Being charged to leave luggage at checkout. This is something most hotels do without charge.

Location was very nice, close by most the attractions as we walked towards most of them and the public transport is only a 5 min walk
