Great hotel and marvellous staff.

The buffet breakfast was very good, with the option of choosing a cooked breakfast from the menu. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and made our stay very relaxing and a pleasure. The view from the hotel is superb, you simply cannot ask for better.

The absence of being able to dine at the hotel in the evening was a minor inconvenience, but it did force us to go out in the evenings, which was also a pleasure.

High quality accommodation and excellent service.

Stunning views. Fantastic pool where you can swim lengths. Staff were awesome. Walking distance to town.

For me, the only thing missing was a gym.

Perfect luxury relaxing location for Cape Town!

We stayed for 4 nights in the cottage room and it was a 10/10 experience, better than we had hoped for. Highlights were the staff (helped with bookings for restaurants etc) the hotel itself was in a stunning location , very calm and serene, could have lounged by the pool forever! I would both return to again , and recommend to anyone!

Not close/walkable to anything but this isn't a problem, we used uber Black to get around with no issues.

load shedding sucked, please get a generator. for the price we paid one shouldn’t be without electricity couple hours a day.

Exxeptional staff and beautiful views

Exceptional staff, beautiful views, tasty breakfast, gorgeous pool & sun deck. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was great size, with a lovely waterfall shower.

We stayed in the standard double, and found the decor and furnishings a little bit too minimalistic. I wish the interior of the room was a little bit more special / luxurious - but perhaps my expectations were just a bit too high as we were on our honeymoon so I hoped for the room to have more of a cozy / romantic vibe.

There is an electrical power outage 2 times daily for a couple of hours sometimes up to 5 hours. One day we had a water outage during the stay

Serene views of the ocean. Dreamy cabanas make for stunning photos. shops and restaurants are a walking distance away. I

The Infinity pool and sea view is amazing.

Prices for beverages are on the high end.

Overall good but the room was disappointing.

Breakfast and location good. Wi-Fi is often interrupted because of power cuts.

The room £400.00 per night was small and quite basic. The shower flooded and was very basic, just a hand held shower and no bath. The service but very good particularly from the MNager.

Johan looked after us beautifully and there was nothing in this delightful boutique hotel that was not considered for the discerning guest!!

I am afraid too many power cuts without a generator on hand would refrain us from booking this lovely little boutique hotel again.

Tranquility to perfection, close to everything.

Amazing view, friendly team covers all your needs (that you know and don’t know of), convenient “self-service” bar - inviting to stay and relax at the pool. Superb breakfast.

Cottage - yes you may hear a bit the street, but then: it’s separate from the other rooms, which is nice. Sometimes the rooms wifi connection was a bit tricky. We didn’t find the plug for hair-dryer in bathroom.

Fantastic breakfast cooked to order and very flexible options with fresh juices Great buffet with croissants better than France Lots of fruits and great coffees and teas Great wifi available everywhere The bedrooms are the level of a five star hotel with high end bathrooms

Heaven on earth

Everything from the front of house staff, to the kitchen staff, to the owner. I fell so deeply in love with this spot. My heart felt broken when I had to go back to joburg. As a recently retired VIP flight attendant, this was so up my alley when it came to the hospitality. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us.

Relaxing, intimate stay with tasteful interior and welcoming team

Absolutely loved my stay here, first time in a guest house as opposed to a hotel. I prefer it now as it’s more intimate and personal. The service is really good- Petra, Johan and Jake always made sure I was well taken care of! My favourite part I would have to say was the warm inviting kitchen, the variety of the quality spreads throughout the day, whether it was breakfast with every single jam you can think of, tea bar or delicious canapés in the early evening.. The bedroom was very comfortable, and the Asian contemporary art around the whole property was beautiful. Not to forget the breathtaking view of the ocean from all the bedrooms on the floor by the pool! Last but not least, part of the family there is lovely Steffi, the senior rescue dog that the hotel has taken in. She comes to slowly greet all guests, and sometimes will sunbathe next to you during the day.

Maybe not the property’s fault but when Cape Town is going through city-wide outages, the kitchen cannot provide hot food as there is no back up generator. This didn’t affect my experience but it might for others. (There was one slightly hangry guest when an outage took place during breakfast time). There is no spa, however I did hear there is a plan for a spa next year.

amazing selection, bake beans home made an exceptional. tea and coffee top quality, in fact changed my tea brand as so impressed

Beautiful hotel - would love to stay again

A beautiful place, good location and extremely friendly staff.

The only downside was probably the stunning pool was too cold to really enjoy.
