Hotel-Apartment in Walking Distance zur Innenstadt

Das Best Western liegt nah an der Innenstadt - Sydney Opera House und die Botanical Gardens sind fußläufig erreichbar. Auch der Bus zum Bondi-Beach fährt um die Ecke ab. Die Zimmer sind sauber, gut ausgestattet und das Bett ist sehr bequem. Der Zimmerservice ist unaufdringlich.

Das Personal am Empfang könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein.

Mattress getting old? Quality of breakfast could definitely be better! A foot stool/poof/coffee table in front of the couch, to put your tired feet up and your cup of tea on.

Fringe of central area, clean, spacious - hassle free stay. Will return

Location near to office I could walk and at the edge of the park. The room were spacious and clean, well maintained. I like the availability of the kitchenette and around the vicinity - a small supermarket. Majority of the team members at the reception were kind and helpful. Easy going. Plus point - cafe next to reception - they have delicious carrot cake!

The customer service of a receptionist one evening (night shift) when I asked for band-aid - she looked liked she dislike the job and grouchy to be sitting there in the evening. What a shame as it could be same behaviour projected to many other customers staying with the brand.

Il manquait de quoi égoutter la vaisselle et une petite table pour manger. Étrange d’avoir une kitchenette et pas de table pour s’asseoir confortablement. La chambre donnait sur la rue et c’était bruyant. On entendait bien les voitures.

Great value in City

Position was great access to everything Staff found me a quiet space for a zoom meeting while I waited for room to be ready which was lovely (I was early) Spacious room that’s very comfortable with kitchenette (microwave is great!)

No views (but didn’t expect them) Can be a bit noisy in Laneway so remember to close bathroom door

Best location on the edge of the city!

Best Western Plus Hotel Stellar is located at an excellent location on the edge of the Sydney CBD. I specifically chose this hotel, due to needing a place to stay while getting medical treatment at St. Vincent's Public Hospital, which is less than 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel had all the amenities needed for a longer stay. Very comfortable and super friendly staff. I also loved that I could ChromeCast Netflix from my phone to the TV!

Central location. Great Breakfast. Super Cafe Staff and Reception as well...

The Staff was excellent. Helpful, polite. The biggest plus of this hotel is that it has a Cafe Breakfast and light lunch… The young ladies that run the place are very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We had the larger room which was great. Had a seating area… which was very much appreciated.

I do not think there was anything that we did not like...

Good for a city stay in Sydney

I liked the location, everything I needed was in walking distance, so were a lot of tourist attractions. The room was clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything expected. Also the staff was really very kind and helpful - especially after I complained about the loud guy next to my room (not the hotel`s fault if guests cannot behave).

The hallway was a bit noisy, one could heare the doors shutting and the elevator. Also in the morning you could here the staff, while opening their lockers - I think there would be simple coordination solutions. Please add some towel holders close to the basin. There was ony one above the toilette and one at the door.

location was great for Mardi Gras parade, walked to harbour bridge and opera house

the only fault was we booked for 2 adults and a child but a bed was not prepared for the child. the staff were amazing and got right onto it even though we checked in late. I’m guessing they assumed child would share with us perhaps

Great Location, Clean & Tidy

Fantastic location, our room looked over Oxford St and on to Hyde Park, there was a guest laundry on each floor which was nice spending a week in the hotel and not having to spend a fortune on hotel dry cleaning. Wifi was included free of charge in the booking price, and the hotel has its own cafe open really early for coffee and food throughout the day, they were open decent hours. 24/7 reception made us feel safe and secure, the front doors lock closed after around 7pm and require your room key to open, adding another nice security feature. each room has its own split system aircon giving you full control over the temperature and the bathrooms were spacious with big showers and removable/ adjustable handheld shower heads. the rooms had lots of windows and natural light, the windows also swung open and opened right up to let in fresh air and watch the hustle and bustle of Sydney unfold below. House keeping were prompt, consistently in timing and attended to the room everyday throughly. I loved that even when we had the “do not disturb” sign on, we would get a little note under the door saying “sorry we missed you” and if we needed anything to just press 7 on the phone and ask! a lovely little touch and the rooms were always sparkling. Housekeeping always went the extra mile and even washed any plates or cups we had left in the sink! Completely unexpected and really made us grateful to be staying there. The hotel also has luggage storage , so if you check out and still want to explore Sydney before you fly home, or you arrive before checkin, you can store your bags and go for a walk and the hotel call you to let you know when the room is ready. The rooms had a nice sized TV with the ability to stream Netflix etc from any of your devices and normal channels also. A good microbe, kettle, roasted sand which maker and a selection of tea and coffee which was refilled daily., or on request.

The hotel is dated and and could use a bit of modernisation. There are no facilities for business use, no pool or gym, there is only 1 lift servicing 6 floors and the lift is really, reaaallllyyy slow. Reception service and quality of service really depended on who you got at the time of day as to how helpful or out of the way they would go to help you. Although the hotel has a cafe and kitchen for the cafe, they have no room service available. Uber eats however was easy enough to get with plenty of options around the hotel. The water pressure in the showers was lacking and not strong at all. When making up your room, the fridge is stocked with a bottle of water. This had no price on it, silly to assume, but I did assume it was complementary, it wasn’t and has a $4.50 charge per bottle attached. No one tells you about this until you check out. The check in process is simple enough, but the multiple charges and holds on my card were annoying. The hotel holds the first night as a deposit, then they charge that hold on arrival, they then charge the remaining balance of the booking and then a seperate $1 hold for any incidentals, these are all done as seperate transactions and the process is clunky needing to swipe the card through an eftpos machine each time.

Lovely room. Check in was awkward. as we didn't have a photo ID but we were accepted finally. Airconditioning didn't turn back on but we didn't bother to ring through the fault.
