Tranquil Stay by the River Tay
The staff were so amazing - answering our many questions. The property is delightful with beautiful extended riverside frontage. We enjoyed many amazing walks during our stay. Dinner is not to be missed neither is breakfast. We had an a 'la carte menu included in our stay, but the comprehensive buffet was more than adequate! Parking was easy and plentiful. Thank you so much for having us - we wish we could have stayed longer.

Another relaxing short break at one of our favourite hotels.
We had a very good dinner, with a nice table overlooking the grounds.
There were no problems at all.

Great experience, but please reward customer loyalty.
Excellent facilities on a world class site.
As regular visitors, over many years now, including having celebrated our wedding on site, we don’t feel that customer loyalty is noted or recorded. Whilst some of that is due to high turnover of staff in the hospitality industry, the hotel’s owners should be capable of considering a basic loyalty scheme. This is especially so since prices continue to escalate. Although we got a good deal for DBB based on current prices this time, this is highly variable, and a subsequent booking made direct is having to be cancelled on cost grounds, as an improved deal is obtainable via Booking.com. Price movements are understood, but continued movement of goal posts to maximise income from customers is not helpful. Minor training point for the staff member who delivered our bowl of chips for our main course before our starter had been served.

A beautiful hotel with lovely facilities in a beautiful location
The grounds and location. Most staff were friendly.
One occasion we’re my steak came out to the table but I had to wait a few minutes before I reminded staff I was still awaiting the chips to go with it

We had a great time and went to the Loch O the Lowes wildlife reserve the morning.
We had dinner in the hotel on Sunday evening of our stay and the meals were excellent. I have coeliac Disease and the staff were very knowledgable about Gluten free meals which was very reassuring
The breakfast in the morning was not quite so organised and we had to ask three members of staff for some gluten free toast. There was no bread and eventually I was given a gluten free roll which was not very tasty. I understand that some Gluten free food tastes a lot better than others but this roll was not appetising. The breakfast is served as a buffet which raises anxieties around cross contamination. I managed to get two freshly cooked fried eggs which had just arrived from the kitchen but was not willing to try the other dishes.

Amazing location, peaceful and surrounded by nature
Amazing setting and endless walks right at your doorstep. You are paying for the location more than anything else. Beautiful hotel in peaceful surroundings.
Price is expensive for what you get at the hotel as some of the rooms are in need of refurbishment. Its a lot of money just for a bed for the night. So of planning to stay make sure you make the most of all your time there and get there for check in time in order to start enjoying all the time you have there.

We loved this gorgeous hotel and the room, the staff and the food were exceptional! Thank you for making us ans our dog
We loved the location, the beautiful walks and the fact that the hotel is dog friendly! Staff were very accommodating.
The room was quite warm but it was so comfortable. We didn’t notice the fan in the wardrobe until the morning!
