Great location

Nice, clean rooms. Fantastic location. Close to the underground and restaurants and convience stores nearby.

Service at the restaurant located in the lobby. Skip the restaurant, there's better options close by.

It was excellent

The location was excellent. In the center of london .just 2 min walk to underground station.Staff was so friendly. Breakfast was very good with different options.they had prepared a qote for my kid.and it was raining and the weather was little cold I said to them and they had prepared an extra warmer in the room .I recommend this hotel .

I think just housekeeping was a little weak.it seems that they haven't enough workers.they had some delay in servicing rooms.but they were so friendly and after talk with them they had done it .

Excellent place to stay with family!

The staff was very courteous and nice, a family friendly hotel, centrally located, small rooms but you get what you pay for and we were very happy with the overall stay at the hotel.

Nice for a short stay. No frills, nothing fancy. Expect a base standard holiday inn

Located centrally and next to a small shopping center. Rooms are decent, but can be quite small for a family of 3. Friendly service. Quick check in / check out and efficient staff.

Small windows, so room is quite dark. Bathroom was not clean. Breakfast was chaotic and extremely busy with very tight tables.

I got what I paid for, pleasantly delivered, and with parakeets in the tree outside. as a bonus.

The key-coding of the lift was a useful security precaution. I liked being able to skip general cleaning, as I like to have my (small) room to myself as much as possible. The bar staff were very good.

The building was modern and thin-walled. I could hear the underground at night, and was awakened at 2:16 one morning by blows on the door of the next room.

Very good stay in the very centre of London

The furnitures are very modern, rooms have space and the location is perfect! Less than 5 minutes walking to Russell Square tube station where you can take the Piccadilly line

Pleasant stay in London

The place was very good, just 2 min walking distance from Russel Square Underground, which belongs to the Piccadilly Line. The staff was very helpful and responded immediately to our every request.

First, we stayed 7 days and the breakfast was exactly the same. Its quality was satisfactory but there was no variety at all. Second, the windows of the room did not open, resulting in no ventilation at all and causing discomfort

Super location, very enjoyable stay in Bloomsbury!

Super location for visiting University College London, and for being centrally located in a lively neighborhood with lots of sites, restaurants, and easy connection to buses and the Russell Square tube station for getting a bit further into London.

Good value for London.

Great location for central London but still quiet. Easy walks from Russell Square tube. Staff very helpful. Left luggage no problem and refilled bathroom toiletries on request. Room was dark and quiet for sleeping.

the entrance and concierge were nice staff were also nice

pretty much everything loud uncomfortable so many noises from the creaking exterior guttering or deco cladding outside the windows beds were probably the most uncomfortable sleep I’ve had

Great Location for a short stay in London.

The family room was not really a family room it was very crammed for 4 of us the breakfast wasn’t very good the hot chocolate was more like hot water and things was burnt pancake machine not working the location however was very good and staff was very friendly.

They made it very easy to relax and have a very comfy home base.

The location is great!! Very walkable neighborhood and lots of nice shops and pubs nearby. Right next to Russell Sq tube station and plenty of buses which I preferred as a tourist. Staff are very kind and friendly and helpful. Get the breakfast deal, but go eat before 8 and you won’t have to queue. Really everything was lovely, the only negative was our view of the rubbish buns outside but we booked on the later side. And we didn’t care that much.

See above (garbage cans) view ha - also the cot for my daughter was a bit thin (mattress could be thicker).

I was able to enjoy my holiday to the full.

I always appreciate a variety for breakfast. I was delighted to have a bath in my room. I was able to leave my bags after check out and really appreciated the early check-in.

Safety is of utmost importance

Breakfast was very well organised and with a wide variety of food options. Room was already set up when we arrived so that was very much appreciated.

Despite following the instructions for the bath curtain, the floor is still very wet after shower. I find that from EHS perspective this is a safety issue as the floor is slippery. It's either the baths be changed into showers, or the floors have to be coated with non slip coating.

Okay if you don’t mind a very small room

The telephone in the room did not plug in hence no way to contact reception without leaving the room. Reception staff well told twice about it and I did not have to have vacated the room for the issue to have been resolved. It was not resolved over my 3 night stay

Happy to stay at the hotel!

This was my third time staying at the Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury hotel. That means I really like it there. Everything is good to my likings.

The public toilets could be cleaner told my friends. She was a bit disappointed about the dirt on the toilet she went to. Plus, if I remember correctly I booked a wheelchair friendly room. That we didn’t have.
