Lovely stay in Cascais central to everything.

Location was amazing and we loved the rooftop pool and sunbeds? It never felt crowded. We ate at the restaurant for dinner one night and the food was really good and quite reasonable. Loved the iced water in the lobby to refresh and rehydrate every time went in or out the hotel.

Sometimes some of the staff were a bit unresponsive and didn’t go out of their way to be open and friendly.

Great place, would definitely return

It was close to many nice restaurants, cafe’s , shopping and the beach. The staff were very helpful, particularly Carlos.

Because we were so close to bars, restaurants it was noisy throughout the night. We offset this by turning in the A/C which lessened the noise levels.

Great place to stay just outside of Lisbon.

This hotel is centrally located in Cascais, Wonderful views from the hotel. The staff was amazing. The beach is directly across the street. There are 100 restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was wonderful. Would stay here again.

Ótima localização

Localização privilegiada. Estava a escolher hotel para passar meu aniversário, como li relato de hospedes que foram recebidos com surpresas e mimos em datas especiais, escolhi esse. Infelizmente meu aniversário de 50 anos passou em branco, mesmo tendo avisado na reserva. No mais, ótimo café da manhã, restaurante é muito bom.

Travesseiros precisam ser substituídos.

Great location in a popular resort

We had a sea view room and it was lovely sitting on the balcony and sleeping with the balcony door open. Great location for restaurants, bars and walks and for the railways station to get the train to Lisbon. Breakfast was fine and room was comfortable and well presented. I thought it was good value.

Only minor... Could do with a bit more storage space in the room for clothes. And Breakfast was from 7.30, I thought 7.00 would be better.

Nice, seafront, romantic and comfy hotel in Cascais

Location is great, right in front of the bay. The hotel has many years but has been renovated and is confortable (room was good and bed was very comfy). Breakfast was also good.

Nothing bad, really. Price was a bit on the high side.

A lovely hotel in an ideal position for restaurants and amenities.

Location perfect. Sea view rooms with balcony overlooking beach and sea. Breakfast -plenty of choice both cooked and continental. Lovely rooftop bar with fabulous views. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Nothing really as we had stayed there before and the hotel fulfilled our expectations.

Pleasant

Excellent location, with a beach across the road and lovely views. Great base to explore the town and highlights too. The breakfast was good, with a good selection of options to choose from. The room was clean and spacious.

The noise was terrible. There was loud music from a nearby Irish Pub till just after 1am. Then street cleaning vehicles from around 6am. Even with the doors and windows closed, the noise was super loud, especially as we had a room at the end of the building closest to the noise. I understand now from visiting Cascais and staying at the hotel, that the noise is unavoidable, but had this been highlighted to me in a hotel review or at the time of booking, I would have chosen a different hotel.

It was very good over all!

The location and breakfast.

If you have a car, the parking lot right next to the hotel is public and if there is no space available, you'll have to wait until somebody leaves! We had to wait about 10 minutes and you'll have to pay 10 euro plus tax!

It's ok for spending a few nights, but one doesn't feel too welcome here.

Great location, nice view. Clean. Friendly staff.

Old hotel, beachfront dorm type. Very basic breakfast. Small, poorly designed bathroom. Noisy area and no real soundproofing.

Disappointing

fantastic location

They put us in a disabled room without informing us at check in, When we complained about this and the following we were told that this still was a ‘superior room’ The room was not fit for use as the shower flooded the whole room, on telling the staff about this they told us it was an on going issue. We were also very disappointed that they were unwilling to give us another T bag (there was 2 in the room) without charging for it, astounding!

Superb

The location is excellent, the staff is the best and the facilities are clean. The restaurant even serves tasty, unique food presentations.

No complaints-- but bathroom lighting in the sink area could have been better.

the location is very good. the hotel has had face lifting. However the materials used and quality of equipments is only fair.

Besides the fact that we explicitly asked for a room with sea view, they lied saying that had no room with sea view. In fact they had rooms with sea view as we had the opportunity to confirm. Moreover, upon arrival the keys given had the wrong number, and we had to insist at the front desk to have someone to confirm it at the rooms's door.

Birthday stay at The Baia

The location was amazing. There was parking in public car park underneath hotel and if you were staying there your received a reduced rate. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast excellent. A special touch on my birthday, the hotel surprised me with a bottle of bubbly and two glasses !

Really pleased overall with hotel and location. Staff very helpful. Rates better than 3 star.

Room very simple and clean with a good view. Could be very noisy in high season but to be expected in the location. Breakfast good but not enough choice. Terrace and pool a bonus. Well placed to enjoy area.

Breakfast choice. More variety needed in fruit and cereal.
