Fint stort bra rum älskar jacuzzin som va varm Oftast är de för kalla Vi har bott här förut o kommer säkert igen Frukosten helt ok Läget passade oss då vi hade barn som skulle på Liseberg och vi vuxna skulle på partille cup

Great rooms, great food, amazing value for money!

Very convenient location for exhibition centre and city centre. Comfortable bedroom. Amazing buffet breakfast and evening food in the lounge very reasonably priced and very tasty! Really excellent value for money.

Exceptional

We chose Scandic Opalen due to its proximity to Ullevi stadium where we attended the Coldplay concert. Very satisfied with our stay here. Comfortable and clean rooms. A rich and tasty buffet breakfast. Most importantly, very friendly, warm and helpful reception staff. Very easy check in and check out. I would definitely stay in Scandic Opalen again.

Comfortable and Nice Stay especially with kids

City center and nice to go by walk.. The hotel has very spacious play room next to restaurant.My kids really enjoyed it.. there are also many kids activities very close by to the hotel.. I Strongly recommend this hotel to the families who has kids under 5-6 years and of course it suits for others also.

in the booking it’s mentioned that the room has city view but we didn’t get that.. on top of that Receptionist was not welcoming and bit rude .. It was little disappointment the moment we enter the hotel.

no room service. crowded lifts, every window is locked and ⅓ of what you see out of it is moldy. normal scandic breakfast, expensive restaurant with little choice. frankly... boring.

Disappointing

The breakfast was very good. I liked that I could order an omelette to my liking. I like that there is a restaurant in the hotel.

The room was too hot and the bedding was too bulky so I didn't sleep at all during my stay as I was too hot so I won't stay at this hotel again. I couldn't open the window because of the noise made by the metal fittings on the flags that were flapping in the wind. There was no soap in the handbasin and the shower gel dispenser was broken so I had to wash with shampoo. There were only 4 Swedish TV channels available and in the digital age I expected at least BBC world news. The restaurant was not open on Sunday when I arrived so I didn't get anything to eat. Scandic hotels now require guests to request for their rooms to be cleaned and they mask this cost cutting measure as saving the environment but they are really just cost cutting. The food at the restaurant was OK but the restaurant was quite cold so I had to wear my coat while eating??

A good hotel, spoilt by small points.

Quality and choice at breakfast.

More room - too crowded in the restaurant, and food was reduced in the last hour. Very disappointed not to have tea and coffee facilities in the room.
