Great hotel in an excellent location. Kids loved the free candy bar on Friday and Saturday afternoons! Great view from the room, comfortable beds and large bathroom.

Huge room. Plenty of space. Love the giant shaving mirror! Coffee machine! Great view. Close to city centre. Quiet.
Shower was a bit old and weak. My room also had a bathtub but the water is not hot enough to run it so don't get excited if you think you'll be relaxing in a bath! Furnishings and carpets are dated but functional. TV hard to operate.

Convenient, great location, great view.
Areas need work. Carpet in lifts was filthy and damaged. Surfaces were scratched with obvious signs of wear and tear. There appeared little maintenance. I would not consider this property 5 star 3, maybe 4. Parking and breakfast cost considering the room cost, were not value for money.

Breakfast was very complex with options and fresh. The view of the room was nice. Location was great of you plan to walk around it satisfied all expectations.
Rooms needs to be refreshed, there were cracks, plumbing issues, etc. little bit dusty but nothing that can impact your stay there. Its just about small details, otherwise, all good.

Loved the location and the ambience. The accommodation was booked at short notice and the staff were excellent in helping us. The beds were much appreciated for their comfort. With the famous Oxford Street around the corner, we were able to indulge in the history of the street both in the morning and at night. The Hyde Park views were excellent, as was the view from the pool deck.

Good size room and ensuite. Very central location.
More 'warmth' to the foyer, it wasn't very welcoming although the receptions were very helpful and pleasant. More options in the coffee shop/cafe. Such as a pastry, muffin or similar for people who may want a coffee and cake alternative.

The location is excellent. Close to restaurants, shopping and park. Staff are nice and friendly.
The carpet in the room is not very clean and bath tub has hair. The toilet has no toilet brush. Time to update the property. Everything looks out of date.

The bed was somewhat uncomfortable - needed a topper. The pillows were average - even ordered off the pillow menu what was meant to be Luxe but was not luxe at all.

The location is convenient as it was just walking distance from the train station and taxis are always available. The breakfast has variety of options and delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive. And the management went above and beyond to accommodate our need and comfort. It was a great stay.
We enjoyed the spa pool but I noticed the moulds around. It did bother me and I hope it will be taken care of.

Excellent location: The hotel's location in the heart of the city proved to be ideal for exploring landmarks and strolling along shopping streets.
Comfortable rooms: The rooms in the hotel are spacious, clean, and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
Cozy beds: The beds were so comfortable that I felt at home and enjoyed a great rest after a busy day.
The Wi-Fi speed in the rooms left something to be desired. This caused inconvenience when trying to use the internet for work or entertainment.

Very close to everything in the city, Hyde park is so lovely to walk through. Plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. Rooms are very spacious and the view was great. Very comfortable accommodation, loved how many mirrors were in the room also! Bar fridge was also very well stocked.
The pool is very deceiving in the photos! A lot smaller in real life. Overall it’s a bit older than what we were expecting for a 5 star hotel. The cleaners didn’t clean our room on the second last day of our stay (reception couldn’t give us a reason for this) so ran out of toilet paper and towels got a bit gross. The shower is a bit rogue!! This was pretty disappointing.

The view from our room was lovely and it was very comfortable.
The only thing we didn't like was that the shower flooded the bathroom floor. We had to place pool towels at the base of the shower screen to keep the water from going all over the floor.

Spacious room and good location near Hyde Park. A little bit of luxury. Great breakfast. Buses to Circular Quay from Nearby Elizabeth street. Lots of eateries at nearby Liverpool Street.
Rooftop pool terrace was too small for hotel. Only four sun beds and a few chairs. Lifts were very very slow at peak times. No ice box in fridge.

Check in was efficient and exceptionally friendly, the rooms are well appointed , beds and choice of pillows very comfortable ,the pool area and gym good with views over Hyde park, the breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of cooked and cold options delicious coffee!. The location is fantastic with the beautiful botanic gardens a short walk away .The airport central train is 3 stops to the museum stop and then a short 5 minute walk to the hotel .Highly recommend this hotel .
Less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel there is a leisure centre with a family pool and lane swimming 50 metres ! We found this very useful . We loved watching the flying foxes in the park opposite at dusk

The mattress was very comfortable, the bath was a happy surprise, the sauna was soothing, a late lunch in the restaurant overlooking the park was delicious.
The elevators were slow and crowded at peak times.

The room was spacious, the view was fantastic, the fruit platter was a nice touch, the bed was comfortable and the assortment of pillows ( ranging from puffy to more flat) was also considerate.
Our room needed repainting especially the doors and skirtings. They were chipped and paint peeling in places. The splashback under the sink in the bathroom was grimy as was the huge smudge on the mirrored glass in the bedroom. The lounge was so deep it needed more cushions so that my short legs could have reached the floor. The nice time we had on our weekend way out shone these few negatives .I just think for the price it was a little lack lustre.

The property showed and advertised that there was a bath available in the 3 x bed, 2 x bathroom however there was not in our apartment which was a big dissapointment consideirng the price paid. We required a bath for our 1 year old. There was also plenty of dust under the couches and majority of the dishes / glasses were not clean and had to be washed before we could use them. The A/C was also very hard to get to the right temperature as the thermostat was clearly not working properly and was also very loud during the night which made it hard to fall asleep. The best thing about the place was the pool however even that lacked propper seating / pool chairs,

Location was great, right on Hyde park, and as I enjoy walking, with the travel pram we were able to get to most of the places we wanted to visit on our trip.
It was very disappointing that upon the 2nd night of our 4 night stay, my son stepped on a huge piece of glass the size of a thumb-nail. By the time I had called Concierge/Front Desk, I had found another piece of broken glass.... totally alarming and just states to the level of (non)cleaning.. in our room, or maybe the whole floor, who knows.
The night time Front Desk Staff was great in helping us move to another room straight away though, he was really genuinely upset for us that we experienced it.
Also, the next morning, the Hotel Manager was wonderful, offering a carpark for us, and as we had laundry to do (my son had wet the bed after the whole ordeal with the broken glass - thank goodness he didn't hurt himself... it was for his birthday holiday btw) - they offered laundry service, and changed our room again to level 21.. (n.b: in a 4 night stay I changed rooms 2 time.. and I don't pack light..... so yeah)
HOWEVER - when it was the day before check out, turns out the laundry wasn't going to be comped, and they said why I didn't use my free car parking that they offered to me. To which my response is this: why would I feel comfortable for my friend to visit with her 1yo baby, when clearly the carpets are not cleaned. If my 5yo son cuts his foot, sure it's bad, but what if my friend's baby son puts the glass in his mouth? How would I reconcile that???
So the night before my check out - instead of enjoying my holiday, I had to talk it out with the Night Shift Hotel Manager (who clearly doesn't know his craft of hotel management).. anyway long story short. I conceded nothing and asked that they honour their offer of comping me the laundry. I could have really asked for more in the way of compensation but that's not my style....

The shower was terrible. It's sprayed all over the bathroom when I turned it on, after adjusting the shower head it was slightly better but didn't have great pressure
