Clean, comfortable and safe.

Clean , big size of room and friendly staff specially the reception man was super respectful and helpful . The location is good as it is Close to airport.

If they can offer blanket or a bit thick bed sheets . And adapter.

Good hotel

The suit was big and clean. There were many rooms - a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a hall. The stuff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was good. Worth it's price.

Some facilities are a little bit old. The location is close to airport, but it was far from the sea beach. There is a construction (?) in the neighborhood. My suit window faced the road and it can be loud at night.

we needed a hotel close to the airport to catch a flight the following day. the hotel is in a great sport for taxis to take you to the airport and only 10 minute walk from the boulevard. hotel staff are very friendly and also knowledgable answering a lot of our questions and helping us. the Room w stayed in is a whole apartment with plenty of space and a good balcony to enjoy the fresh air.

WiFi is the only issue. you’ll need to be downstairs in the lobby or restaurant to use. but signal with Vodafone sim is very clear in the room so you can still use your phone mobile data.

Again a very lovely stay, unfortunately this time just 24 hours but very relaxing after a long roadtrip. Special thanks to Ammar from the reception desk for arranging breakfast in my room in this exceptional case. Sol Y Mar Ivory Suites is your go to boutique hotel in Hurghada. All staff is wonderful, friendly yet modest and respectful of your personal space. Next time I will not check out and will forever live in this wonderful home away from home.

Good place to stay!

Excellent location, walk-in distance from the airport, friendly staff with good English, no problems with payment, credit cards accepted. 24h reception desk, easy to find. Great upgrade options available. Spacious room with all necessary equipment including electric kettle at the kitchenette.

They checked and scanned both passports of all tourists not only one who is the contact person and payer. This is a bit confusing. No bathtub in our room, only shower. Cold stone floor without slippers can be cold)

Great place for a quick stay.

We chose this place because we had an early flight and it was an easy, quick 5-8min ride to the airport. Our flight got delayed and the staff allowed us to come back to the hotel and stay back in our room during our 5 hour delay. Food was good from the restaurant. And excellent staff! Would definitely stay here again if in need of a hotel close to the airport.

Bad faith

I booked 1 night. The staff didn't take consideration the time recorded on booking for check-out, which was scheduled for the morning at 10 AM, after the breakfast. At the check in, I didn't understand why the staff offered to take breakfast to go, I said no thanks I have time before leaving. I understood the reason when in the evening, 5-6 hours after my arrival, I was suddenly and brutally awakened by the staff who wanted me to leave at 10 PM. Furious, I asked for explanations the next morning: bad faith, lack of professionalism for only answers. They claim that I am responsible despite the proof on booking of my check out time. I hadn't any apology or the slightest commercial gesture, and had to pay every single pounds of beverage/food. Being the only customer (or almost) the products of the "restaurant" were not fresh and not good. In the room, the TV didn't work (not important for me but just to say) and the sink was completely clogged. In summary: go somewhere else.

If you don't care about an internet connection in the room and a beach, the hotel is perfect.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room (suite) was very large with a separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room. Large fridge-freezer which was always refilled, of course against cost accounting. But the prices for it were acceptable. The hotel is very close to the airport, but without the noise of a the airport.

Internet is only available in the lobby, which is a no-go these days. In addition, the connection was very different in quality. Downloads and work was almost impossible. It's about 200m to the beach, which wasn't a problem for me.

Love the place, love the location. Great staff, extremely clean and amazing value for money. Always come and stay here whenever I'm in Hurghada and hope I always find you guys.

AC in the first room we stayed in wasn't working. Called room service and they prepared another room for me in an instant.

Strongly recommended for you who eill stay 1 or two nights.

Late check-out without additional payment and cheap lunch, very friendly personal and two big rooms with kitchen just for one person (yes, kitchen at the hotel room).

Excellent stay overall.

I stayed in a 55-square-meters junior suite which included a living room with very comfortable couches and a 280-channel TV, a small balcony, a clean bathroom with 5 towels, and a nice bedroom which had 2 very comfortable single beds, a large spacious wardrobe, a safe, as well as excellent air conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. The breakfast was very delicious, the swimming pool's water was clean and well-filtered. For the price of 750 per night this deal was, in my opinion, an absolute bargain.

Firstly, there was no wifi service in the rooms, only in the reception, I could receive it in my room on the 2nd floor but of course if it ever received a signal it was always poor. They tell me they used to have Wifi in the rooms but the infrastructure they had was problematic for them to sustain, there were also next to no shower accomodations such as as a shower gel, shampoo or shaving cream. They only had another soap dispenser next to the taps which served the purpose but was obviously less than ideal. I relayed these 2 points to the staff on checkout and they said they were already aware and working on them.
