Pretty good but not quite as good as other Novotels

Une bonne adresse sur Caen

L’entrée de l’hôtel est spacieuse, moderne et accueillante. Le parking est au calme. La piscine apporte un réel plus quand il fait chaud ! L’équipe est très sympathique. La salle de bain est propre avec des produits Rituals qui sentent très bons. Le restaurant propose des buffets et même des barbecues en été (se renseigner).

L’insonorisation est un peu juste quand il y a des enfants mal élevés qui courent… Un peu éloigné des plus beaux quartiers de Caen.

Don’t eat dinner there just stay there

Very helpful and friendly receptionist and manager. V good breakfast

Hairdryer had been glued together and fell apart. 30 minutes wait for drinks and food for dinner and then mixed up order

Great food both dinner and breakfast, friendly staff who were happy to converse in English so we all understood instructions. Child friendly with toys etc in reception to use. Great stop off on a longer journey.

The staff, the pool and the hotel facilities. The play area is a nice touch.

Okay hotel for a couple of nights stay

Food at breakfast and dinner was very good much better than expected for this type of a hotel. Free parking big carpark safe for large car. Free hot / cold water at the reception with glass bottles to refill - every hotel should have this

Disappointing

Clean, good parking

No luggage/suitcase stands in bedroom. No glasses in bedroom. Serving of food a complete disaster and everything came with a salad.

Maybe, the hotel is nice, and new, and situated conveniently, BUT! It was so cold in the room!!! I think, the temperature was about +14 degrees, as I could stay in the room fully dressed and in winter shoes, but my hands and feet were frozen. I had to work on my laptop, but it was impossible, because of the cold. My husband had to bring from the car a sleeping bag for -40, and he slept in it. I slept in thermo-underwear + warm pantalons+warm pullover + blanket. And I was not hot. We complained 2 times for the staff, but they said it is the same situation in all hotel. And we paid for 1 night 200 euros, as I booked upper level room. We stayed in the middle of December 2022.

As I described - it was very cold in the room. We paid money to be frozen. That is why i put a low mark. And no apologies, no compensation from the hotel!
