Die Erwartungen waren höher. Service, soweit vor Ort freundlich.

Parkhaus und Zuwegung eine Zumutung. Ausschilderung irritierend. Frühstück war ohne Besonderes und weitgehend in Penny-Qualität. . Rezeption kaum besetzt. Allgemeine Einrichtung leicht kitschig und teilweise ungepflegt. Kleinere Innenbaustellen.

Hotelzimmer dringend renovierungsbedürftig

Die Lager ist super. Minibar kostenfrei. Hotel hat Potential.

Die Dusche ist schimmelig. Der Boden im Hotelzimmer ist sehr stark mitgenommen. Keine Steckdosen am Bett, um die mobilen Endgeräte zu laden.

Kurzaufenthalt in Halle

Stilvoll eingerichtetes Hotel und Zimmer. Stadtzentrum in 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Minibar ohne Flaschenöffner. Rezeption reagierte etwas unmotiviert. Rezeption morgens unbesetzt.

Horrendous - stay away

Clear NO GO !! When I arrived at the hotel at 3 in the afternoon pm there was so one … at the reception or anywhere ! There was juste a queue of other waiting guests . Upon ~ 30 mins I left and came back 1 hour later . This time there was someone … and a huge queue of waiting guests . After another 30 mins I really had to leave and expressed my dissatisfaction with 2 unsuccessful check ins . That’s when the worst part of the experience happened - the reception worker full of arrogance and disdain voiced not understanding what I was making a fuss about ! Stay away from this hotel !! People in Halle are so nice , but this hotel is the opposite of welcoming . Overall shady looks and just not a place you’d want to stay in !

I've been to Dormero several times in the past and this was one of the best rooms I ever had (not counting the Suite). It was extremely big, silent, comfy.

It was difficult to check-in/check-out, as the reception is no longer 24hours as it was in the past (but I understand this is due to Corona).

Centrally located, basic accommodation

The staff on hand were able to help with some requests for missing equipment in the room, an electric kettle and some mugs, for example. They even generously gave us a jug of milk so that we were amply supplied for our three day stay. The room had ample storage space. I found the quirky old decor somewhat charming.

The double bed consisted of two singles pushed together, so that generally rules out comfortably sleeping as a couple. The room we selected was supposed to be a suite but it was just a normal room with a couple of chairs, so didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel runs as a sort of self-service / quasi part-time service establishment. When the staff were around they were usually pleasant and ready to assist with requests. We are fairly low maintenance so this wasn’t an issue for us but for some guests it might be. The decor is like something from a different era. A tasteful update of furniture and beds would benefit the hotel. We were bitten by something during our stay… possibly bedbugs or fleas? It might be a good idea to do a deep clean to the mattresses and bedding.

Hotel has good rooms and the bed is comfortable

Breakfast was very disappointing 5 years ago there was a good Breakfast with plenty of choice and variety but this time there was very little availability and it appeared that when the food ran out it was not replenished The food was left uncovered and you could some food was there over the days we stayed

Great location, rude staff, stinky lobby, stained bed sheets

Location.

Terribly stinky lobby, rude front desk, bed sheets were stained. Even though we booked for two people, room had one blanket and one towel. Broken lamps were shabbily put back together with tapes!

Hotel doors closed in the middle of the day You need to have a code to get in, which you can get once you been inside. Staff absent in general.

Dirty throughout, no bathrobe or house slippers, 1 pillow, bed linen not ironed, room not cleaned on second day, no body wash in bath ( attached to wall).
