Alles gut!

Frühstück bis 11.00 Uhr möglich Zimmertüren traditionell mit Schlüssel statt "modern" mit Karte zu öffnen Ambiente insgesamt (grün-braun, Teppich, viel Platz) sehr freundliches Personal

Toiletten auch unterm Rand reinigen Fernbedienung funktionierte nicht so gut, weil die Batterien recht leer waren (nach Austausch war es besser) Betten mit Plastikschutz => Liegekomfort beeinträchtigt Nachschub beim Frühstück (Trockenfrüchte, Hafermilch, Früchtemüsli) gering oder aufgebraucht (ist aber nicht so schlimm)

Very good

Rooms are spacious and staff is realy helpful. Breakfast is complete with salty and sweet choices. Location is great, right by the city center

Staff was really helpful and nice despite the late hour of my arrival due to a train breakdown.

There was a loud noise (probably a generator). Only possible to sleep with the windows closed. Too loud for the prize offered. No food available in hotel, either.

Nice spot for an overnight stay, very close to the Kassel Hbf

Very close to the Hbf ... 2mins walk Pleasant reception, very helpful Nice breakfast 10mins walk to central shopping area Taxi's readily available Great Kebab Cafe across the road !

Feels like a 2 star hotel rather than 3 stars

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was allowed to borrow a kettle. The bed linen and towels were clean.

Overall, the hotel (except for the 1st floor) has very old furnishings. 60/70s bathroom with dark lighting. The room has small lamps whose switches you have to get out. Dirty and stained carpet (I only dared to wear in socks) and so war the chair. Handles on the wardrobe were missing. Room locks old and insecure, no additional safe is provided. Fridge available but empty and off. Mattresses have waterproof cover, so the covering sheet squeaks on the waterproof cover. Cheap pillow fillings. Construction site in lobby, railings renovated only to 1st floor.

half of the rooms face the Bier Garten, it was almost impossible to sleep for half of the night. staff was quite rude and didn’t speak English. definitely not worthy the money

The location is just spot on. Close to the train station and just a stroll away from the city centre. While the premises are obviously dated, they are kept in great condition by the staff. The rooms and bathrooms (as well as all the common areas) are spot on and there is really nothing to complain about. The rooms are generously sized. This is an upside or an aged hotel - modern ones either do not have such a large rooms or charge many times more. The staff was friendly and attentive.

The rooms lacked air conditioning. While there were fans, it was not sufficient and opening of windows was necessary. This created the noise problem - both for the room facing the street (very loud) and the "backgarden" which neighbours with a restaurant / club (quite loud at times). The breakfasts were far from perfect. The choice was dissapointing (even for an omnivore) and non-existent for a vegan. There were long periods during breakfast service were a significant part of the dishes / juices / etc was "out".

Even though the bed had collapsed after only sitting on it, the receptionist refused to give me compensation.

Passable

The hotel lobby, dining area and the reception area is really beautifu and looks a scene from a movie scene. Ambiance of the hotel is elegant.

Bidet in the toilet was leaking.

Adequate property but needs renovating

Easy check in and no problem with late check out. Decent sized room. Very close to Kassel HBF

This is an older-style property in need of renovation. The place was probably good in the 1970s but that is a long while ago. The thin curtains did not keep out the early morning light at all and by contrast, there was barely enough light in the bathroom to see to shave. Bathroom decor was extremely out-dated. Beds not very comfortable. Noise from adjacent beer-garden was quite loud late into the night. Attractive looking bar was closed because of Corona restrictions. Expensive what what was offered.
