Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Hotel, freundliches Personal, vielfältiges Frühstück, Lage mitten in der Stadt. Abendessen sehr gut.

Leider wenige Parkplätze direkt am Hotel (Parkplatz ca. 5 bis 8 min Fußweg, Be- und Entladen direkt am Hotel ist möglich). Wellnessbereich war noch im Umbau, dies war uns bekannt.

Uitstekende locatie als tussenstop tussen NL en Kroatie. Zeker een plekje om eens terug te komen.

Het hotel is mooi gelegen in het dorp. Prachtige authentieke gebouwen. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en klantgericht. We kwamen pas laat aan, maar konden desalniettemin in het restaurant terecht.

Parkeren is een beetje behelpen. Dat kan niet direct bij het hotel, echter er is voldoende gratis parkeergelegenheid in de buurt. Voor een overnachting als tussenstop met bagage die achterblijft in de auto geeft is dat niet geheel wenselijk.

Good location, friendly receptionist, very nice and comfortable room, bathroom, balcony, indoor pool

quality of lunch and service not optimal, does not correspond to the standard of the accomodation. Embarrassing demand for the welcome drink at the bar.

A lot of money for old rope, don't kill the golden goose.

The room was spacious and the spa facilities were good as well. Breakfast and the overall standard of food was very nice. Most of the staff were friendly.

The mattress was not very comfortable, I asked for a double on booking.com and I got 2 twin mattresses, and the quilts were single. The instructions for my safe were incorrect and it took 2 days for staff to help resolve, where in the end I worked out the problem and advised them to update the instructions. There was not tea or coffee or fridge in the room. A couple of the staff were not very attentive around dinner service, and a little disorganised. Breakfast in the morning was mostly very good although there were many wasps in the outside area. The layout for the breakfast was not very functional. As well when they had run out of sausages or something else, they would not cook any more or provide which I thought was very poor and stingy of the hotel. As well they didn't know how to cook poached eggs and refused to cook them. I would not stay here again unless there was an improvement in the overall standard as this hotel claims to be 4 star. You got the impression that this was a high tourism hotel and neglected the customer at a more personal level.

Superb

Excellent location in the centre of the village. Breakfast was particularly good. We were a party of 8 and they reserved a table for us so we could always sit together. The rooms were well equipped with a great view of the mountains.

A great family break

The staff were fantastic - very kind and helpful. The breakfast had a very good selection, with some variety on diferent days. The room was spotless and modern, and the pool clean and warm. The whole family enjoyed the stay and we'd gladly come back.

The mattress and pillows were a bit too soft for my liking.

Superb hotel with excellent facilities and food

Once again we have been back to stay in the Ruhpoldingerhof! It is such a beautiful hotel, always charming and even when they are super busy - as they were during our stay - the staff are happy and polite, very helpful and patient. The hotel serves wonderful breakfasts and evening meals, and the facilities (especially the recently refurbished spa and wellness area) a first rate. Indeed, for a 3 Star 'Superior' (***S) hotel our stay rated as well, if not better, than a number of 4 Star hotels that we have experienced. We love it so much at the Ruhpoldingerhof that we are planning a further stay in February 2023 for winter sports (cross-country, ski touring and alpine skiing - all on the doorstep in the Ruhpolding area). Very much looking forward to our return trips and would thoroughly recommend the hotel to others.

Friendly and helpful staff, in a great location and stylish rooms.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good and had a nice variety. Staff was always ready to help and to bring anything needed. Rooms stylish yet comfortable.

Nothing to complaint ! It would be nice to have some more olive oil in the breakfast. But is personal taste.

Superb

I have stayed a number of times in the past (around 10 years ago) at the Ruhpoldinghof and so I knew what to expect. In the interim though the hotel has undergone some renovations and it is now even better. The wellness area has been expanded and for a 3 star hotel is first rate - sauna, infra-red cabin, swimming pool, family sauna, showers, etc., all beautifully appointed and first class in that rather understated Germany way. The hotel has a very good kitchen serving traditional German meals and my evening meal in the hotel was perfect. Local restaurants also come well recommended. Breakfast was excellent, the typical continental style with lots of variety and was more than ample. Staff were very helpful and attentive, going out of their way to ensure I had parking sorted out in their nearby off-street parking area. The room was excellent, very nice comfortable bed, and it had a well appointed bathroom. This part of Bavaria is stunning if you like being surrounded by beautiful mountains. There is more activities to do in the area than you can shake a stick at, including, in summer, cycling/e-biking, walking, mountain trekking, climbing, museums, etc., and in winter alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and much more. I would highly recommended this hotel which, as it's name suggests, in the centre of the town.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful small town.

The staff was extremely freindly. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very good, for both breakfast and dinner. Great location for exploring Southeast Germany. We felt the cost of the room was well worth it.

Central location was spot on, staff were communicative and well mannered and breakfast hit the spot.

The breakfast was well presented and had a good choice of foods, cereals and the coffee was excellent.The Hotel was in a central location spot on really can’t be fairer than that.It had a pool but I arrived too late to use it. The hotel had a friendly atmosphere.

I had a double room and found it a little small..the bedroom carpet was threadbare in places.
