Good overall stay and relaxing premises recommended for couples or family stay.

Location quiet and relaxing. Large bedroom with view over rear garden area. Good shower and tea/coffee available in room. Soft drinks and beers available from secure fridge on trust/payment basis. Breakfast excellent.

Nothing only a bit remote but it’s in the description.

Spacious, comfortable room in a charming old school building with large garden. Excellent breakfast.

Charming guest house close enough to the main roads yet quiet and relaxing. It was easy to find and access with a code, the rooms were spacious and there were outdoor tables in a quiet garden. The breakfast was copious and delicious.

A wonderful, off the beaten track, accommodation! Large backyard lined by magnificent trees, comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast, and a truly accommodating staff. This property is just five minutes away from the Spagelhof, which made it an ideal location for our family gathering celebrating a wedding there.

Reasonable stay however needs to be more user friendly for disabled wheelchair bound guests.

Great surroundings, lovely garden.

The room was not disabled person friendly. Also the lift was not working properley however was very useful when it worked. Otherwise, great breakfast.

Our default hotel for Essen Motor show!

Private parking, very peaceful area, no noise in the room. Breakfast is divers and had all you need. They also make you an egg of you wish, and in different ways. Very kind personel as well.

Very flexible and dog-friendly. Thanks for packing an abundant breakfast to bring with me on my early departure. Perfect stay for my purpose (ie quick stayover with dog on a drive through Europe)

Perfect- a great night´s sleep at a pleasant hotel.

The room was really nice. Very comfortable and relaxing to stay in. Very clean. The bed was also very comfortable, I slept like a log. The staff were polite and helpful. We were able to check out a bit later, and when my husband and I each thought the other had paid, a polite phone call sorted everything out. I will definitely book this hotel whenever I am anywhere nearby. Parking was easy and my little dogs were welcome for a small and appropriate fee. I wish every hotel was as pleasant as this one. I didn´t use the wifi as my own internet was strong.

I honestly can´t think of anything that would have improved my stay.

Superb

The location was fantastic, especially for our dog. The outdoor courtyard is beautiful (especially when the weather is warm) - there are tables/chairs outside. Very quiet area in the evening/night. In the vicinity there are only agricultural lands. Good breakfast.

Limited drinks located on an outdoor terrace into refrigerator. If you do not want to go out of accommodation, it is good to stock up first.
