Würde gern wieder nach Borkum fahren und das Hotel buchen
Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal der nett und hilfsbereit. Über ein Pad im Zimmer standen gleich sehr viele Information über Hotel und Insel zu Verfügung. Das Hotel wurde liebevoll renoviert und ist für mich gelungen. Die Lage optimal, ca. 200 m von der Promenade entfernt. Bis zum Zentrum von Borkum-Stadt / Bahnhof sind es ca. 400 m. Kleiner Nachteil, kein Fahrstuhl in dem Haus wo wir untergebracht waren, aber das Gebäude hat nur 2 Etagen. Nebentrakt hat einen Fahrstuhl. Evtl. bei der Buchung beachten.
Die Betten waren nur 90 cm breit und 2 m. lang. Dies ist für große Personen evtl. ein Problem

Schönes Hotel, Top Lage, ruhig, gutes Frühstück, in Summe freundliche Stimmung
Lage und Frühstück wirklich gut. Personal am Empfang supernett. Leider beim Frühstück nicht der Fall gewesen (Managerin unsensibel & rauh). Check out 10h zu früh/ schon vor Ende des Frühstücks (bis 10:30h).

A good choice in Borkum.
The breakfast was ample and satisfying. The hotel staff and the manager were very attending and our room was tidy and clean.
The beds were too soft for our taste. We would welcome a second pair of pillows, as ours were small and thin. The shower installation needs some fixing, as in our room, every time for the first five to ten minutes, the shower mixer couldn't stay in a medium temperature: it changed rapidly from cold to really hot.

We would definitely come again.
The breakfast was great, and we really liked the balcony that already came with our (standard) room -- no surcharge. The location is excellent -- very close to the main beach (Hauptstrand). Even though it is close to many places where one would expect a lot of action and, consequently, some noise, we did not have a problem with that at all.
