Most of it was great.

Friendly staff, nice pool, good A/C. Staff made us feel safe, bc they wrote down the Uber/Taxi numbers that we took on/off the premises. Pools were really cool, with iguanas hanging out all over. The grounds were well kept.

The noise from the construction was awful. We were on the 8th floor, and could not take a nap during the day. The drilling, jack hammer, banging noises etc happened from 8am-8pm.

Horrible, don’t stay there! crocodiles, old resort, not clean!

nothing! the resort is 30 (!) years old, no renovation was done whatsoever. the bath tub is with actual rust, the water pressure is slow, the rooms are with super old furniture and not clean!

dirty sheets, dirty coffeemaker… absolutely helpless staff, only one manager was nice enough to acknowledge the condition of the hotel. food was mediocre. PLS BE AWARE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SWIM ON THAT BEACH AS THERE ARE CROCODILES (also mantra ray and jelly fish, but crocodiles are really at the shore and attack swimmers, and there are signs everywhere warning of it).

Awful experience

The location because I can bike from the property to my brother’s house and many restaurants are walking distance too.

The ceiling of our room collapsed and the Hotel’s manager Mr. Ruben Escalante just honored 70,000 points to my Marriott Rewards. It was a shocking experience and we deserve much more.

Regresaré en plan de diversión

Buena ubicación. NO tuve oportunidad de tomar alimento en el hotel. El entorno del hotel es muy agradable. Gimnasio y piscinas muy bien La atención del personal excelente, muy amables

No estuve mucho tiempo en el hotel como para emitir un comentario sobre algo que no mes gustara. Si había algo de ruido, pero justificable por las obras

Avoid until buriling work is completed . Could be a long time !

Only , the pool and beach bar . But still has the building work going on all day

Large amounts of construction happening, there is major renovation on the top floors . Aircon is damp , everything in the room feels damp . Rooms with a-joining doors are very very loud , you can hear everything happening in the room next door Building next door had music till 3am Saturday night

La ubicación me pareció perfecta

1.-las toallas de baño las dejaban en el mismo. Lugar donde las dejábamos para secar y no las acomodaban en su lugar. 2.- No permiten el acceso a la playa después de ponerse el sol por la probable PRESENCIA DE COCODRILOS. No nos toco ver uno pero en la habitación si nos toco ver una de las cucarachas más grandes que he visto en mi vida. 3.- No se si tengan prohibido a los recepcionistas manejar dinero. Pero en una ocasión de noche el taxista no tenía cambio y les pedí de favor que me cambiaran un billete pero contestaron que no tendrían dinero hasta dentro de tres horas. Tuve que subir hasta mi habitación y dejar a mi esposa empeñada con el taxista

Fairly comfortable and good value, but not the best

Good location, close to the Marina, with a decent beach and pool, as well as cafe & restaurants onsite.The staff are very attentive and nice.

It’s slightly older hotel that is going through renovation (which they did not disclose before hand) and not as nice as other Westin hotels I have stayed in

Grandkids loved pools & games and that's why we were there! Very nice place.

Room clean, beach and pools beautiful and warm. Restaurants good, but expensive as to be expected. Lots of beach towels, grounds very well maintained. I had a service dog and was put on the ground floor, walk out onto grass and gardens, and the pool. Loved the location!

At the back of the building was a mess, with lots of sandbags (?) and trash. When we booked in, there were two rooms together, but one not cleaned. We checked several hours later , they said there was someone in it, so put the Fam in another room, at least on the same floor. Not happy. Beds are very small - as in double size - expected at least a queen.

The great staff & amazing pool made up for the annoyance of staying during a renovation.

Great service. I dropped my CC at the cabana & Hector who is a server at the restaurant found it & returned it to me.

The hotel is being renovated. We were in room 617, the construction noise was so loud that we had to change rooms. We moved to room 632, away from the noise & we're able to relax the last 3 days of our trip.

The pool is amazing

The rooms are old. Outlets didn’t work. One of our rooms got a leak and hit the middle of the bed. Switched us rooms but the next room was dirty possibly due to them rushing us to a new room

Bell Staff Outstanding Beach Bar and Restaurant Outstanding Housekeeping-Non Existent Check in-Inexperienced. English speaking skills non existent. Poor room choice

Is this a dog friendly resort? Why were 2 sets of barking dogs allowed at pool? Where is the Adults only pool? Why do you give out the last room on the floor when the facility was less that occupied? Any reason rooms were not serviced as scheduled? 3 of 6 days no service. Will not return to this facility. Showing its age and lack of staffing. Beach was dirty and unkept. Plastic bottles and trash everywhere.

Everyone was just so very helpful and friendly.

Pool area was beautiful and clean and well cared for and no messes were left unattended. Restaurant and pool staff were very friendly and I felt very taken care of.

There was a convention that came in and participants partied pretty late and given that we were on the 5th floor it was loud in our room. It would have been nice if they had been asked to be quiet a bit earlier.

despicable business affairs

I have filled a complaint and requested full refund which I haven’t hear anything back from your administration. the hotel refused to let us in upon arrival. they lied to us that they were closed without notifying us but they had sold all the rooms to a film company.

Superb

I would definitely stay at the Westin Puerto Vallarta again. it's nice to stay in a hotel where you can tell they know what excellence in service is. It is a spotless hotel, the people are professional, friendly and always willing to help. Despite the fact that the facilities are a bit old, the cleanliness of each space and the warmth of the staff make you want to return. I will definitely come back!

Enjoyable, but too expensive.

Need more beach chairs and chair pads. Another pool or sun area. Better communication with knowledge of TV channels. The cash machine needs to be maintained. it was out of service / cash for at least 4 days. Need to have some better music. Understanding it is a relaxation spa resort, but there is still a lot of music out there that would be suitable. And finally, the resort was very expensive.

Westin property and staff were exceptional!

beautiful, great pool, beach, staff was amazing

Not Westin, but Gray Line Tours on property - did not accurately explain ruggedness of e-bike mountain tour - acted like it was an easy cruise thru town & countryside - ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! In actuality, it was a tough 6 hour ride on cobblestones and on rough, bumpy gravel paths. Tour guides were amazing.

Good location but outdated and old rooms

Love the location with private beach access. You don't get hassled much from the street vendors. It was also within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. It had a nice big pool and we even complimentary snacks and drinks at the bar one evening.

The decor needed much upgrading. Furniture was also old, scratched and chipped, just not in the best condition. Our sink and toilet were both leaking. For the most part the housekeeping was ok, but we had this clump of hair on the wall that was there by the shower our whole stay. Overall, I didn't really think it was a good value.
