Exceptional

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in a beautiful beach location. With its luxurious accommodations, attentive staff, and tranquil atmosphere, it is the perfect destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation.

I didn't quite like the breakfast and dinner on my first day but on my next day, i was quiet happy.

Food, not good

Hotel was clean most of the staff were helpful

Food buffet cold all the food was cold complained first night went down second night 15 mins after restaurant opened and food still cold. My husband ended up with food poisoning that night. We left next morning when we should have stayed another two nights

Enjoyable but Management did not want to hear about my views

Location and restaurant & reception areas good

Tea & Coffee facilities for 1st night only … Ie to replace used items they wanted to charge & water bottles the same Swimming Pools all closed Charges for car parking Charges just to enter Spa… Very dated & “Tired” looking buildings & Rooms

Wonderful

Wonderful hotel. Even during mid-August doesn’t feel crowded. Great facilities and nice and helpful staff.

Only tiny details. Example given: Breakfast buffet is great, but the coffee available is terrible.

Woukd stay again, but with a few touches this hotel could be lovely

Nice bath in room. Clean room. Staff were polite. They refunded me my last night when my plans changed.

The food during the week wasn’t very nice. It got better over the weekend. You can’t get a drink in the restaurant if you don’t want beer, wine or water or cola. The corridors smelt of drains.

* Security: rooms are accesable from street without passing reception and without keycard * Noisy. Badly insulated walls, floors and door * Reservation of double bed was handled as request "depending on availability" not as reservation, and that in februari, in an almost empty hotel

I have a very different concept of "resort"

Beautiful location and resort style. Staff kind and helpful. Nice room/bathroom, balcony on golf course and pool. Gym was ok.

I chose this hotel for its 25 mt pool, but the pool was closed because "it is only open from 12 to 19hrs". So it's impossible to swim in the morning or just before dinner. How can you keep the pool open only for 7 hours?! That's less than 1/3 of the day! It's like not having it. How can any business guest use it? Buffet very low food quality. Meat waiting to be grilled was brown/gray.

I would recommend it to my golf friends only.

It was fine, not fantastic just expected more for the price of the stay.

Unless you golf, there is nothing else to do. No encouragement to participate in any other social activities.

Barcelo Stay

I enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and walking distance to a few restaurants.

There were a lot of bugs and often a sewage smell. The new parking system did not function several times during my stay.

Disappointing

Needed negotiation to parking a motorcycle when have space to parking outside the garage in basement; the asking price it’s the same at a car. The swimming pool close early (7 pm). The thematic restaurant only open lunches Friday to Sunday! Far of the beach.
