Ideal central location, charming hotel and helpful staff.

Location is perfect and the hotel is lovely. All the staff were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend it.

Una estancia cálida en todo sentido.

El lugar es hermoso y acogedor, atendido por personas muy amables. Además la ubicación es excelente, ideal para pasear o trabajar en el centro de la ciudad. Me quedé una noche más de lo planeado.

Aunque se han esforzado mucho para que sea cómodo en medio de los apagones decretados por el gobierno este mes y han resuelto para que tengamos internet las 24 horas. Sí recomiendo revisar si se puede bajar el sonido que hace el internet cuando hay corte en la noche. En las habitaciones que están junto a la recepción está incómodo. En la que estuve un poco más lejos ya no molestaba.

Adorable !!!

Nos encantó la ubicación, la atención del personal - son gente muy amable!! El desayuno muy bueno, talvez variar de día a día la fruta y el sabor del yogurt, nada más. El hotel en sí, muy acogedor; me encantó la decoración con las figuras de angelitos !!

Talvez, que el baño no tenía mucha ventilación.

Li faltava una mica de manteniment, però ens van explicar que estava de reformes per un tema d’adequació al reglament dels bombers.

Todo, el desayuno es excelente tanto en cantidad como en calidad. Las habitaciones son cómodas y calientes y cuentan con ventilación apropiada. Los empleados son muy amables, yo me sentí como en casa.

A veces la señal del WiFi se pierde y en mi habitación una luz no se apagaba por completo

Superb

Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was close enough to the main plaza but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. The hotel was beautifully decorated, it was quaint and very well maintained.

Excellent location, attentive staff, and service with a personal touch.

Excellent location near top attractions, amenities, shopping area and restaurants. Spacious room, warm and friendly reception and top service. Restaurant offering was appealing. Laundry option was reasonable. I would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely place but make sure you ask for a room which is not facing the restaurant

Location, staff,facilities and the italian restaurant which is part of the hotel.

The hotel is a bit stuffy because of the layout. The courtyard is roofed in and the room we stayed had not much fresh air (13). Breakfast is at 7.30 but because of hosting groups we were woken up around 6.15 so the staff could prepare breakfast because the groups always wanted earlier breakfasts.

A well-kept hostal in a great location - I would happily stay here again.

Cheerfully decorated and with a superb breakfast, Posada del Angel was exactly what I needed on my short trip to Cuenca. I appreciated the hot water, too!

My room opened up onto the breakfast area. This made it a little noisy, but nothing terrible.

A charming hotel with lots of warmth and a staff who goes the extra mile to help and please.

The breakfast was very good, with quality coffee and a lovely setting in the indoor patio with lots of curios and plants. This hotel has a superb location in the heart of the historic center, a short walk from the main monuments, Parque Calderon and all the streets with great shopping.

I discovered that all the rooms overlook the two patios and the restaurant. For those which do not have balconies overlooking the street (but the street is busy), there is too little fresh air coming in from the glass dome. The restaurant can be noisy. But it is the hotel configuration.

A colourful Posada - in keeping with historic Cuenca

The courtyard and balcony is beautifully colourfully decorated. It is in a great location for historic Cuenca to walk the landmarks. The Ecuadorian blackberry juice for breakfast is superb. Friendly staff.

Nothing really, I was up a floor from the main posada rooms, which if you book will be worth paying for.

The best hotel of my travels

Everything. It’s a fabulous hotel, in an authentic place, family managed, it was purely incredible. The breakfasts were the most complete I’ve ever had. Easy, I didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day after that. The family really helped me & made me feel appreciated, they are very thoughtful. The rest of the staff are adorable, present & yet invisible, really sweet and caring. It’s a grand hotel, but without the anonymity of one, they cherish their client & make them feel great. Honestly, one of the best hotels I’ve ever been in my life. & trust me, I do see a lot of these.

A very comfortable hostel near the historic center of Cuenca well worth the price.

A family run operation, feels like a home. We stayed for 10 days. 2 beautiful courtyards to relax in. Excellent value.

You can here outside the room, but no big deal.
