Our host Karim was fabulous. Extremely helpful with any requests, went out of his way to escort us everywhere.
A bit noisy in the room with window facing the alley.

Loved this Riad.. right in the centre, there is plenty around to keep you busy

Amezingly decorated old road in the Medina of Fes

Great room and location
The host lied to my friend about her room being unavailable coz the shower was broken when we saw a bigger group had been put in it. He have her 15% refund but by then we just didn’t want to deal with him

The Dar Victoria was superb! The Dar itself is an absolutely beautiful facility, but what really makes it stand out are the staff. They are exceptional! Kareem (sp?) was the person we dealt with the most and he could not have been more friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs and requests. We felt like we made a new friend in Fez! He suggested we hire a walking tour guide to take us through the medina and that was an excellent suggestion as we learned and saw so much more than we would have on our own, not to mention we could never have navigated the maze of alleys and souks without the assistance of a local. By the way, we had Said as our tour guide and we highly recommend using him, too. We were going by bus to Chefchaouen following our stay in Fez and Kareem offered to go online to purchase the bus tickets so we didn't have to deal with that. That was so incredibly helpful! On the day we left Fez, Kareem helped carry our luggage out to the street and even negotiated a good price with a taxi driver to take us to the bus station. The room! Oh my gosh, we didn't want to leave it! Hands down, the best room in all of our five weeks in Africa! It was like a small apartment and the bathroom was a dream bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and the whole room was exceptionally clean. I cannot say enough good things about the room we had. All of Fez feels very safe and we never had any issues with the city or the area Dar Victoria is in. We had breakfast every morning in the main area and it was a good way to start the day and not have to find a place to eat in Fez. The location is perfect! It was an easy walk to the Tannery and medina. Upon returning from a hot day of sightseeing, we could just pop into the kitchen and ask for a soft drink from the kitchen staff, who were also so kind and helpful. If you are reading this review trying to select a place to stay, stop looking! Pick the Dar Victoria! I promise you will will not regret it!
The only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the Dar Victoria!

Ambiance and charm. Warm welcome. Abdul met us from outside the Medina and escorted us in. Welcome drink of mint tea while we checked in. Breakfast was fresh with local produce. Dinner is available in the riad, which was convenient after a day of traveling. All amenities you require. Room had additional bed and couch. Dar Victoria know how to do tourism!
We had two rooms. One room (Amethyst) had low ceilings and shower - definitely not suitable for tall people. Steep stairs so would be a challenge for anyone with reduced mobility.

Everything - stunning building, super clean and a great friendly and helpful host. Location was excellent and out of the hustle and bustle of the tiny lanes in the medina market area.
Nothing really.

We like the place but the thing we loved the most was the stuff. In particular Karim and Abdul have been the best, they made us feel like home, they were always trying to help us out and warmly treating us like part of their families.

Lovely hotel, staff were fine. we stayed one night to catch a flight the next day so can’t comment too much.
Our room was next to an alley and it was so noisy. We couldn’t sleep. Closed all the windows and turned on the AC to drown out the noise but it still felt like we could hear everything outside and the kids in the street shouting all night long. We booked the hotel thinking it would be comfortable but it was our worst night sleep in Morocco which was a shame as it’s a really nice looking hotel.

very beautiful and tucked away off the bustling streets of Fez. it was quiet and comfortable. the rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. the staff was very friendly - Karim was a pleasure to speak to. he served us tea when we arrived and gave us some recommendations. the breakfast and coffee was delicious and we had dinner at the property one night and they made this delicious chicken dish that I will be dreaming about for a while. plus the rooftop was a nice place to unwind after a long day. overall would stay again!
lots of stairs to climb!

Place feels like it’s own little paradise in the middle of a busy town. The place is quiet and clean. We chose the Emerald Suite and were served by Karim. We had to leave early for the bus at 8 AM, and he kindly packed our breakfast for us and arranged a van to take us to the bus station. The customer service was 10/10.

Overall pleasant stay. Location is just outside and close to the entrance of the Medina.
The drainage system is not good (as it is always the case with old buildings) so when taking showers, we had incidents having water spilled over. There was sadly some dirts under the pillows of the second bed in our room which honestly is a bit disappointing.

Dar Victoria is a lovely place. The appearance of the riad is great: I love the Morrocan architecture and the old furniture.
The breakfast is great, there is many choices. We've stayed for four nights and there were different options every day. The staff can cook dinner too for reasonable prices. They can also help to arrange a car to e.g. Mekness or airport pick up/drop off.
The staff is nice to children, my 4y-old daughter loved them

For first-time visitors, the beautiful historic interior was a surprise after coming in from the narrow walkways off the street. The exotic effect was enhanced by our host Abdul who welcomed us in Berber attire and served us Moroccan mint tea. The location was great - a 5 minute walk to the medina. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes. At night it was perfectly quiet.

Karim and Abdoul are ready welcoming and friendly. The riad is perfectly clean and rooms are huge. I was really satisfied of everything. The terrace has also amazing view to the medina

Lovely decorated Riad
Location was okay - placement in a small street, was totally fine to be there as a couple, but wouldn't necessarily go alone as a woman

Amazing service, great breakfast, good location just outside the medina and close to few restaurants

Everything was simply fantastic. Easy to get location, close to main tourist atractions, amazing traditional and comfortable rooms, big rooftop, delicious dinner, but first of all extremely friendly and helpful staff. Karim and Abdul really do good job there and are available nearly 24/7. They help with arranging trips, tour guide, hammam and anything you need, they give good advices how to avoid being overcharged when shopping or taking a taxi. Thank you very much Karim and Kingy!
That I had to leave😉

The main space, between some of the rooms and the reception/restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with mosaic, plaster and cedar decorations, comfy seating and a charming library. We got a family room, which was huge. It had two floors, the bottom for a communal seating area, the bathroom and one of the single beds, and the top for another single bed and a double bed, separated by a bridge! The decorations were stunning, the bathroom very clean, and the breakfast generous and delicious. The location is great - not far from Bab Rcif and the lower end of the Medina.
Nothing comes to mind.

We had an amazing stay, the dar is really beautiful and has a homely vibe and Karim was so so sweet and helpful with absolutely everything we need.
Everything was great

Very nice establishment in the Medina of Fez. At dinner and breakfast they serve typical Moroccan cuisine of a very good standard. We arranged all the excursions at the hotel at a very affordable price.
Last but not least, Karim is one in a million! Always helpful and present, he runs a hotel with great skills despite being very young.
See you soon!

Dar Victoria is a beautiful riad! It is a bit further from the Blue Gate, but a close walk to the center of the Medina through Bab R’cif. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating - they booked a local hammam nearby for me and also prepared breakfast 30 minutes early for my morning departure.
The hammam on the property was not available.

The property is a magnificent, renovated, well preserved Dar.
Every single detail reflects an elegant taste.
The staff was more than friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The location is perfect as one can reach the old Medina within a 5 minutes walk.
It was definitely a wonderful experience.
Everything was perfect
