This was our second visit because of the staff, room and cleanliness. As well as the location.

The Staff was always kind, especially, Jilhane. She remembered us from our visit almost a year ago and welcomed my daughters and I with a warm smile and lovely greeting each time we passed her at the reception desk.

The only thing that could’ve been better was the water went down extremely slow in the bathroom sink. Other than that our stay was a pleasant one.

Great location but wouldn't stay here again

Loved the neighbourhood and location, very close to eateries and shops, Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Close to two Tube stations which makes it easy to get around. Our room was spacious which was a bonus.

Staff weren't very friendly (couldn't crack a smile!) and while they took our luggage because we arrived very early, which we appreciated, when it came to check in early (an extra GBP25) the first staff member who saw us didn't register us correctly and there was confusion on our booking. They were rough with our luggage and one of the wheels of my case (which had been slightly damaged by the airline) was completely broken by the time we found it in our room. We were the only ones put in a street room. We were so disappointed after asking for a higher level room and paying extra for a Junior Suite thinking we wouldn't be on the ground floor. There were roadworks in front of the hotel - not the hotel's fault - Jack hammering all day, every day, the Tube running under our room from 5am to nearly midnight every day of our stay, the smokers area out the front of our door, even the staff would sit, smoke and talk on the phone (they may as well have been sharing the room with us it was so close and we could hear everything) and our room backed onto the kitchen so all times of the night there was a tap running and it was so loud! 2am, 3am we were woken up by this noise. PLEASE DON'T TAKE ROOM 019 IF YOU'RE ALLOCATED IT. For 6 nights we didn't get any sleep or rest. We didn't bother talking to staff because we got the feeling nothing would happen. Previous reviews warn of not accepting the ground floor rooms, but we were told we had no choice. We also got the feeling that because we booked through Booking.com we were given the street room. When we checked out they took the key and never asked about our stay. They didn't care for feedback. We wouldn't stay there again, we like to sleep after busy days out and about.

اعجبني المكان وتصميم الديكورات والموقع

عند الوصول طلبت من مدير الفندق اشوف الغرف ووراني الغرف ولمن حجزت كذب علي وعطاني غرفه صغيره وغير التفاق الموجود .. ومن ثم الموضفه نجلاء المغربيه وقامت بخدمتنا وجعلتني احب المكان انا ارشحها لان تكون المديره لانه الحميع بحضورها يرتاح .. لانه الموضوفون هم واجهت المكان ولاكن بالبدايه كان المدير جدا سيئ ولايقدر اني جاين لفترة العلاج وخلاني بالغرف الي بالسرداب

Below average. Incredibly inflated price due to the festival. Amenities did not warrant the price

Location was perfect for the BST Festival at Hyde Park. Bed was extremely comfortable and pillows great.

I booked a suite. Was actually given a ground floor disabled room. Room 022. Rainfall shower was broken and water just kind of fell out of some of the holes and off the edge. The shower screen and shower curtain didn’t do its job which left the rest of the bathroom soaked. Toilet flush barely worked. Requested an iron and ironing board. The iron had stuff burnt on to it that flaked off onto my clothes. Thankfully no stain. Was in a rush so didn’t have time to ask for an alternative. The noise from the corridor was horrendous. My room was at the end of the corridor and there was a fire exit that kept slamming. Customers had no reason to use that door so I can only assume it was staff. Really inconsiderate noise from 8am onwards.

Pros and cons

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The drainage smell was very unpleasant in the room. Thankfully it was only a 17hr stay. But it was noticeable throughout.

Great location but comes at a cost...(Parking)

Great location, lovely interior , design and overall rooms and value for what you get.

Sadly we were not given clear instructions on how to book nearby parking and how to claim the hotel discount properly. Leaving us to have to pay a much larger amount unexpectedly . Staff should give extra support to guests when checking in or prior to arriving.

Lovely clean hotel with great staff and brilliant location.

Really good location, on a quiet street but close to transport routes to main streets and tourist attractions. It was really clean at all times and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Super hôtel avec emplacement parfait

Super hôtel, un emplacement vraiment top avec une rue commerçante et pourtant hôtel au calme. Gros plus, des places disponibles si vous avez décidé de louer une voiture. Chambre super moderne et spacieuse, il est facile de s’y sentir à l’aise. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel ☺️

Nos chambres n’étaient pas nettoyées à 16h 😕

A good comfortable hotel for our weekend break

Location was perfect and two underground stations within a few minutes walk. High street nearby for any essentials and a good pub as hotel has no bar

The underground line runs under the room - may be a problem if you’re a light sleeper although they don’t run all night

Great hotel in excellent location :-)

We loved the hotel, the staff were great and super-helpful, the room was pleasant and restful, with a very comfortable bed. We did not have breakfast to keep cost down, but the breakfast room looked very nice. The location is fantastic, a quiet residential area only a stone's throw from Paddington station. We also walked through Kensington Gardens to Knightsbridge, which we enjoyed.

the worst hotel experience I have ever had

the room was decent

the hotel manager was extremely rude to myself and my friend where he kept speaking to us in a rude manner every time we walked in and out of the hotel and the last time we saw him he caught me of guard when I came back to the hotel at around 6 pm and started screaming at the top of his lungs in front of everyone walking in and out of the hotel and he was throwing accusations that I had friends over the knight before and we where too loud and that they lost customers and guests had to move and from the room next to us while we where out from 3 pm till 1 am so we had no one over and even when we came back we both went to bed so there wasn’t any loud noise that came out of our room as he claims and I asked him in a respectful way to allow me to go to my room because I have no idea what is making him this worked up and so when I was about to walk out the hotel 10 minutes later and I was able to gather my thoughts and remember what we did the knight before I explained what happened and he didn’t even allow me to speak as he was speaking over me at literally every two words and I kept telling him to allow me to speak and he wasn’t listening to me and in fact the second time that is asked him to give me a chance to speak he said no you have no right to do so and I told him “what you’re doing is called bad customer” and his answer was “ I don’t care” and then he told me “I will black list you from the hotel and I will cancel you’re reservation and refund you you’re money and deduct £200 for the inconvenience you caused” then when he saw that i was about to speak he said “get out I don’t want to listen to you or hear you out” and cheekily asked me to apologise to him so I reserved a room for my remaining stay in London at another hotel as he said that he’ll cancel my reservation right away and I went out of my way and contacted booking about the matter and explained what happened and the tried to contact the hotel to enquire about the status of my reservation but no one...
