Härlig miljö

Hotellet ligger fint i gulliga Farnham, nära till allt och vacker närmiljö. Mycket rent, bra möjligheter att koka te och kaffe på rummet. Frukosten har många val, trevligt med buffe för yoghurt och bröd, men bordsservice för varma maten.

Det fanns bara en fåtölj i rummet och eftersom vi var två personer hade det varit trevligt med två sittplatser. Wifi fungerade dåligt vid sängen

Very good

This was my second stay at Bush Hotel. No issues with parking as so many spaces on site, good location in centre of town. Rooms are good size with comfy bed. Will be heading back again when I need to be in Farnham

If I’m being picky, wobbly toilet seat and some of the wooden furniture in the room is a bit dated and full of scratches

Comfy stay in perfect central location

The room is comfortable, clean and a good size - the beds were very comfy. This hotel has the perfect location, you couldn't get any more central, a big plus for me. Mixes old character with the new modern style well

I would have liked some independent lighting by the long mirror so I can style my hair - it's really difficult trying to do it in the dark - when your room buddy is still sleeping, and you have to look good for business appointments

Very good

The location is excellent, right in the middle of town. Garden views from the window, and lots of eating and drinking places nearby within easy walking distance.

Check-in was a bit slow and the car park is quite small. We got the last space at only 3pm, but there is a small overflow parking area. The only real problem was the air conditioning system which wasn't working and had set itself to standby. This meant that the room was freezing cold and we couldn't reset the heating. However, a trip to reception rectified the problem remotely.

Exceptional

My room was clean, spacious, and quiet with a lovely view of the garden. The location was excellent. A 10 minutes walk from the train station and right in the centre of the town. Really near a lovely park with the river Wey running through, shops, cafes, restaurants and art galleries. Near to the Farnham Castle and Keep and many more attractions. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The hotel also had a lot of character, very historic with many interesting artworks on its walls. I would definitely stay there again.

This is my second stay here, last time was May 2022, at that time they appeared to still be struggling after Covid. Now

This a sweet historic hotel in the centre of the town of Farnham (a very pretty location). The building has been renovated very tastefully (except for the carpet in the bedroom corridors which is an ugly grey pattern).

They don’t accept cash for food or in the bar. I don’t have a UK bank account so paying with foreign bank cards is expensive when you consider exchange rates and bank charges. The room had AC but it was restricted to 23 deg. C. This is a bit cool for me (in February)! Soap, shower gel and shampoo in the guest room bathroom was in dispenser bottles fixed to the walls - this devalues the experience as it would be more suitable in a Premier Inn.

Good 😊

The room (room 5) was large and nice enough with a good comfortable sofa and huge bed. The bathroom was great with a decent size bath.

There was a slight odour when we first entered the room.

More could have been done to make us warm and better communication would have helped

The location and the decor were good. The room was pleasant and clean

It was freezing in the dining room. We had to fetch blankets from the bar ( for outside area) to cover our legs. We shared them with other diners who were also cold. Heating was poor throughout the building. Staff had put extra heaters in the room but made no difference. Heating appeared to be off in the building. No explanation given manager made brief apology but no reason given or offer of hot drinks. Seemed more embarrassed than wanting to apologise and make us comfortable. Did think when we checked out there would be some mention of it but nothing. Also mix up with our rooms which caused confusion when booking in for our group caused by lack of attention from one of the receptionists.
