My stay was really bad noisy

I have been going to holiday in for 15 years but not it’s not really a good place to stay police outside cars getting damaged

Great place to stay for a short visit.

Good location, plenty of space and no problems parking. Nice size comfortable rooms. Helpful staff and good facilities (swimming pool and gym). Decent breakfast and food in restaurant.

Rooms look a bit tired and can do with a refresh. A bottle of water in the room would be a great and inexpensive extra. Pillows need changing as they misshapen and lumpy. The burger on the restaurant menu had an odd curry flavour sauce which was unexpected and didn't taste great. It should have been stated on the menu.

A few days back at home for me. I was born in West Yorkshire.

The area was accessible.. The disabled room was brilliant. It was also great that it was only 5 minutes away from the motorway.

The receptionist that checked us in, could have been more informative. We parked the car in the car park, when we arrived. We asked her how to get in to Brighouse, she told us to turn right at the end of the road and keep going. She didn't tell us how far it was, and as we are both disabled, if she had told us how far it was we would have gone in the car.

Awful Stay

The location

The rooms! The toilet flush was broken every time we flushed the water would just keep running throughout the whole night. we had to leave the curtains closed in our room because they were broken they literally fell off the railing and the railing fell off onto my partners head The shower would randomly get extremely extremely hot halfway through and then cool back down then back hot again. The drinks at the bar are extremely expensive comparing to other IHG we have stayed at. not even worth it You phones in the room to contact reception and I can only say having phones in the room is so pointless if they are not going to answer no matter how many times you call. We had to use our mobiles to ring to actually get through to them

A great place

The staff, facilities, pool and food were great. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It is outside the bustle of the city and the views were amazing. We were made feel very welcome and really enjoyed our stay.

Just a note to those without a car, there is no public transport adjacent to the hotel. However this didnt affect our stay, we got taxis to Huddersfield Station ( <£10 - 15min) where there are plenty of transport links directly to airport & Manchester city centre.

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Pool area was really nice and warm and child friendly.

Very modern, rooms were very big. The pool facilities were amazing and the breakfast buffet on offer was very good.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, i notices mould between tiles in our bedroom bathroom. Nothing great.

Perfect find for work stop over

Everything! I paid just under £100 Inc breakfast, and it was such good value. Breakfast was excellent , as was their dining menu. Catered for vegetarian such as myself. Portions amazing and room service no extra charge. Hotel was really clean and paid attention to details, such as shower tiles and behind toilet. Rooms were large with balconies looking out onto a fabulous garden set back from the road..making the rooms light and so airy..perfect for a peaceful motivating work space. Iron and ironing board, safe, minibar with two pepsi, two chocolate bars, two packets of crisps and two water In with the price! Bathroom had bath and shower. Two full length mirrors. Plenty of space for my morning yoga but also a swimming pool and a really well equipt gym! I was flabbergasted at the amenities at this Holiday Inn. The staff were all friendly , accommodating and professional ... Overall this was the one of the best places I have stayed so far this year for work

Very good hotel for a short stay.

Very good restaurant, good location close to the M62. Nice ambiance and well set out.

Long walk to the room as the hotel is on well level. Good for the daily steps but ask to be located nearer the reception area if you have mobility issues.
