Tutto perfetto a parte il pub sotto la camera!

Camera pulita, servizi ok, in pieno centro comodissimo.

La camera assegnata era sopra il pub, rumore infernale fino alle 3 di notte. Abbiamo chiesto il cambio, sono stati gentili, la seconda notte è andata benissimo

I will stay here again.

This room was great. We had everything we needed and the staff was very helpful :D

The restaurant next door was too busy to get a seat :( but that just shows how good it is :) There were plenty of places within walking distance so it wasn't really a problem.

Un hôtel jeune, géré par des jeunes gens sympas

L’emplacement et la grande proximité avec à peu près tout.

Aucune aération possible de notre chambre qui sentait le renfermé. Cette dernière chambre n’a pas été faite entre nos deux nuits sur place.

PESIMO! No volveria ni por casualidad

Los unicos aspectos positivos fueron la ubicacion y el chocolate que nos dejaron al preparar la habitacion.

No suelo tomarme tiempo para escribir reviews, pero en este caso La experiencia en general fue PESIMA. Siento que les regalaron 2 estrellas, lo unico destacable es la ubicacion. Llegamos al horario del check in, nos dieron la habitacion, vamos y estaba todo dado vuelta, tuvimos que esperar media hora a que la armen (y porque los apuramos). La chica de recepcion no supo responder con altura, segun ella iba a estar lista en 10 minutos (explicame cuanto pueden llegar a limpiar en ese tiempo!!) La habitacion era pesima: incomoda, las camas (separadas) estaban pegadas, la puerta del baño no aislaba nada el sonido, los pisos eran ruidosos... Punto aparte para la hermosa vista a la parte trasera del bar de al lado junto con su bello deposito de basura y sus hermosos ruidos nocturnos y matutinos! Algunas cosas extra: - No te limpian si no pedis que lo hagan. - De la habitacion si tenias la cortina levantaba se podia ver a la habitacion de al lado. - No tenian ni un agua para vender, nos recomendaron tomar agua de la canilla (ergo, del baño). - Los pasillos son sucios, el ascensor es lento y da la sensacion que se va a caer practicamente.

Loved it! Plus the location is convenient to visit our favorite rock bar Bannerman’s

Lots of options as far as room types so we were able to get rooms to accommodate all of our extended family.

We’re not used to sleeping with out a/c but we were able to crack the window open for a breeze.

It is clean and close to the old town. If you plan to not sleep before 1.30am it is a good place.

The sound is the biggest problem. The rooms are above a pub-discotheque that opens to at least 1pm. If you are in the rooms 101 to 106 you will feel like you are in the discotheque and sincerely it is not possible to sleep before 1AM if you are not used to this - wall vibrations and sounds. We had to wake up at 6 twice for touring, so sleeping 4 or 5 hours when you are used to sleep 8 hours is just horrible.

ideal location

the location of this hotel is ideal for exploring the city within minutes walk from the royal mile, I knew booking this from reading the reviews that it is beside a very busy bar so i expected noise levels so I cant complain when I already knew this booking . the location is worth the noise tho I loved the large bath towels as most hotel towels are tiny

Hotel is really nice and rooms too. Personnel was super helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Hotel is really good situated, It´s close to everything.

There is music club downstairs and It´s really loud during fridays and saturdays till 1AM

Easy , cruisy , comfortable, fun and fabulous

I loved everything about it , the rooms were spacious and well thought out . The location was wonderful and the staff fabulous

I was a little to warm , perhaps a cooler blanket option would be good

Pleasant

The hotel is in the city center next to Royal Mile. The rooms are clean, the staff is pleasant, the breakfast are delicious, they cook by the menu, very nice!

The next door to the hotel is a very noisy bar with open terrace, and parties until 3 am!Our night from Saturday to Friday was horrible! They were noisy until 4 am! We couldn't sleep and went the reseption 3 times with hope that they would give us another room. On Saturday, my husband and I were exhausted and wanted to leave the hotel in the morning, but morning reseptionist offered us a quiet room and it was (windows are in the other side). I don't understand why: 1) in booking process, it is not indicated that some of the rooms are so noisy; 2) why they didn't offered us a quiet room at 12 at night. Thanks to the manager who changed our room and we didn't have to look for a new hotel. But for the future - provide the information honestly, it should be obvious in booking process!

Lovely hidden away hotel, would definitely stay again!

The room was lovely, surprised with the size of the TV and the Bluetooth speakers! Lovely sizes shower. Would definitely look to stay again next time we come to Edinburgh

Would use Stay Central again.

Room was great, very clean and very quiet.

Breakfast was very expensive at £15 each, we didn't prebook as we were unsure of our plans, and breakfast cost us the extra £5 because of this :(

Overall a good experience

The hotel is located in the central area, so everything was very close that we wanted to see/visit. The place is very modern and colorful. There are lots of fun activities as well.

It is located next to a club so it was a bit noisy sometimes.

Great location and great room, but very loud outside.

The location was perfect. easy to walk anywhere and very easy to find. Really cool speaker system in room, which allowed you to connect

Music played very loud outside till around 2am. We were staying on the 2nd floor so I’m not sure if this would have been any different on other floors. But if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay, don’t stay here.
