Ontbijt was goed, de badkamer basic maar goed!Hotel ligt dicht bij alles, dus zeer goed!

Daar er honden zijn toegelaten in het hotel vind ik het hygiënisch iets minder aantrekkelijk!

Hotel sympa, magnifique petit-déjeuner, bien situé, proche du centre, place au kiosque et plage.

Sympathie du propriétaire, parfait trilingue. Décor bar/salle à manger. Buffet petit déjeuner magnifique, prosecco, jus orange frais à presser soi-même, saumon fumé, jambon, fromages, confitures...céréales, petits pains croquants, toaster, ..., croissants, pains choco délicieux (de notre chambre, nous avons senti la cuisson vers 7h30 😀), oeufs coque...énorme choix de café, latte machiatto, capuccino, thés variés. Lit confortable, beau linge de lit, couette, plusieurs oreillers. Ascenseur.

Afin d'avoir des lits jumeaux, nous avons eu une minuscule chambre mais bien équipée. Sdb avec wc et douche. Pas d'air conditionné mais fenêtre (à l'arrière) pouvait s'ouvrir. Contrairement à la très grande chambre de mes enfants, (donnant sur la façade avant), fenêtre ne s'ouvrait pas, mais avait un ventilateur sur pied. Que 2 rouleaux de papier wc. Beau dressing, petit coffre-fort gratuit.

Un hôtel comme on n'en fait plus...

Tout. L'emplacement, la déco, le charme, l'accueil chaleureux, le confort, le petit-déjeuner... Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien insonorisées. On est loin des hôtels internationaux aseptisés...Il y a ici une âme qu'on ne retrouve plus ailleurs. Sûrement un des meilleurs hôtels d'Ostende.

Everything was great, friendy straff, comfy beds, dog friendy. We‘ll be coming back

When we were booking, we asked for 2 seperate beds (if avalable, as booking mentions it), but when we arrived, they didn‘t have any rooms with 2 single beds avalable. the manager was so kind to offer us the breakfast because he didn‘t see our request. It was a very good breakfast, fresh orange juice and all. As for the room, the bed was so comfortable and hygenic. The room had hight walls, it was fludded with light and it was well arranged. The Hotel even has vegan friends shampoo! We felt welcomed since the minute of arrival. Also, we had a dog with us and we didn‘t have to pay any fee for it.

The windows aren‘t well isolated but it is an old building so perfectly understandable, it didn‘t cause us any discomfort.

Great stay in a cool city, perfect central location and friendly staff. Good value for money

Bed preference didn't seem like it is possible but booking.com made it seem like that would be possible when we booked - ended up with doubles but it was OK

First and last time.

The staff was really nice + the location

It is a summer location but they is no fan or AC = open the window = mosquitos + people screaming outside. We woke up at 5AM as they is a food market on Saturdays and it was a lot of noice with our window open to get fresh air. Just one poor light for the all room. We also had a connection door with the bedroom next door and we could hear EVERYTHING. The handle of the toilet is broken and you can see the inside with the little hole of it = no privacy Mold in the bathroom … The entire building is not symmetrical so nothing was straight ( bed / toilet ect…) which is weird. The bed was a few cm in front of the bathroom … Bugs everywhere in the food with no protections.

We would go there again and recommend this Hotel for a weekend trip with friends.

Location is very Good. The Hotel and rooms were clean and staff very friendly.

The Double / Family room was a bit small for 4 people but overall good layout.

Discovery on quiet ostend square

Breakfast with good choice and quality. Lots of fresh fruit. Very friendly staff. Characteristic monumental breakfast room. Wooden floors. 2 breakfast formulas.

A bit refurbishing and fixing would be nice and the good news is: the new owners have plans, also to upgrade their ground floor space (wine bar!)

The rooms we're clean but there was no Airconditioning. In the morning you could hear the birds making noise and people in the backyard yelling. I think there was a children garden in the backyard. So not very quiet.

Very kind owners, very focused on service an cleanliness. Great location, walking distance from beach, shopping, restaurants.

Warm at night, had to open window. No musquito net at top room. Seagulls are very loud at night.

Disappointing

had no parking, no staf was there we opened the door ourself by phone instructions, 140€ per night!!! and yet no sea view, no Netflix! It was for our anniversary and said that before and they did nothing about it!
