Loved the beach time to the core!

Loved the maintenance of the resort.

Bed linen was not comfortable at all (i remember it was cotton last time) but polyester quality sheets and cover made it extremely hot in spite of the air conditioning. Couldn’t sleep the whole night.

Great location with superb beach and pool facilities. you can also always count on the friendly service of all staff, cleaners through to management.

More attention to room maintenance. On reporting it was however promptly rectified.

It is super well located, great to welcome families

The staff of the Pool restaurant doesn’t know how to handle big tables, and are not very friendly. Pool bar tenders ask you to go yourself to get a coffee inside instead of just calling and bringing the coffee.

Very Outdated hotel for its price rate

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Sandy Beach Hotel, and it was an experience I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. This establishment is a relic from the past, with furniture that looks like it hasn't been updated in over 30 years. The wear and tear on the pieces are evident, making the room feel more like a neglected storage unit than a place of comfort. The room lighting was dismal, casting a dim and depressing glow over the already shabby decor. Speaking of decor, the paint quality and colors were very outdated with drawings of leaves and trees from the old ages. It's clear that the management has given up on maintaining any semblance of quality. To make matters worse, the room isolation was practically nonexistent. I was horrified to find lizards and cockroaches roaming freely, which made me question the hotel's hygiene standards. It was impossible to feel safe or comfortable with such poor conditions. Adding insult to injury, there was no WiFi coverage in the room. In today's world, this is simply unacceptable. I also discovered that the TV service was unusable, rendering it completely pointless to have a television in the room at all. Overall, my stay at Sandy Beach Hotel was an absolute disaster. I strongly advise against booking a room here unless you enjoy outdated, poorly maintained accommodations with terrible amenities. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Old and rundown but amazing if you come prepared!

Место супер для снорклинга! Правда, увидев впервые акулу, жутко напугалась. Местные говорят, что там живут 4 акулы и они не опасные. Есть сомнения, ведь рифовые акулы не входят даже в 10ку неопасных акул. Но плавали, встречали их много раз, видимо они и вправду привыкли к людям. Отель не новый, но все чисто и удобно. Очень понравилось, что весь отель из малоэтажных построек. Обязательно вернемся!

Location, been there 3 times including this one. Amongst all the properties in that stretch, Sandy Beach Resorts has the best location, best view and best amenities for family outing.

Room service can be more proactive. Had to call reception to get towels, dental kits etc. since not much option for dining out of the property, so food quality in terms of tastes can improve.

What you get vs what you pay for self catering is not value for money

Location , staff and facilities

In room there is very limited cutlery and utensils so very limited options to make self catering good Water pressure in shower is very low No plug for basin to clean plates and cups as well as no soap There was no room cleaning either so that is difficult to manage

We've lost our hearts to Sandy Beach!

We have lost count of how many times we've stayed here and it never disappoints. It's not flashy but the beach and snorkeling here are out of this world. Every single member of staff goes out of their way to meet your needs and the whole atmosphere is one of welcoming happy family. Special mentions to Miss Soukania on reception (goes above and beyond to take care of guests with the biggest smile) and of course Mr Aminul at the pool bar who is just wonderful in every way! Grounds are beautifully maintained. The location is stunning. Our favourite place in the UAE!

We love EVERYTHING really but we were sad the bar was closed on Sunday/ Monday because we like playing pool!

we had a great time but the hotel is too expensive- the 5 star hotels along the beach are no more expensive .

the staff are excellent, the kids water fun park is great, and the proximity to Snoopy Island is fantastic for snorkeling

the breakfast buffet is very poor considering the amount the hotel charges. Also, the air conditioning in the breakfast restaurant was not working so we were all sweating

couple with kids can have so much fun here

we stayed here the second time . the first time we stayed in the old rooms where there is lots of smell and AC thermostat doesn’t work and we decided to never come back here but came back for kids as they love the little water park . this time they gave us room in new extension beside and it was an amazing experience. bathrooms have shower screen . no smell and rooms are cozy . we would always come back to stay in these new rooms .

Old school basic hotel with a laid back feel. Good for a no-frills family snorkeling spot!

We very much liked the place! But it either feels bit overpriced or "overstared"-so isn't value deal

Scenery, beach with Snoopy island view - are exceptional. Shared amenities (look on photos more beautiful than in reality - compliments to photographer) - still are great! Amenities for children are also excellent. We also liked the breakfasts and restaurant (view and food).

Room. From 4 stars you have only bed. Everything else (including other furniture, design and supplies of only soap, shampoo and water, tea, coffee, and AC with blind remote and not cooling - maybe because of blind remote) - are from 3 stars maximum only in my opinion unfortunately. The same feeling from the backyard with parking - when you drive in, you feel like you entered 2-3 stars hotel (the good thing is when you leave your room to front-yard (closer to the beach) - you have the good feeling of 4 stars - whooh, that's nice. Overall experience is pleasant, but it doesn't feel like 4 stars (mainly because of the room) or the value deal though yet unfortunately. What you pay for - are good shared amenities incl. for children and the Snoopy Island - and you receive that.
