Hervorragend

Lage sehr gut im Zentrum von Stolberg. Super Frühstück tolles Angebot. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich vorgewärmt.

Schöner ruhiger Urlaub

Die Unterkunft war sauber und hatte alles was man braucht in Urlaub. Der Ort war ruhig und wunderschön.

Es gab keinen größeren Supermarkt in der Nähe.

Sehr netter Empfang, toller Pool, interessanter Ort mit toller Architektur. Restaurants in der Nähe, wenn die Hausküche nicht auf hat. Frühstück gut. Mein Motorrad stand sicher

Sehr schönes Hotel mit Wellnessbereich sehr zu empfehlen im Herbst.

Der Wellnesbereich mit Sauna und Schwimmbad ist super und bis 22 Uhr geöffnet und sehr zentrale Lage. Es gibt auch gute Wandernöglichkeiten, z.B. zum Josephskreuz oder zum Schloß, wenn man nur eine kleine Runde möchte.

Die Matratzen waren für mich zu weich, das ist aber mein Empfinden.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful, small village

Stolberg is a gorgeous village and it’s really quiet. We got exactly what we wanted and enjoyed every minute here. The hotel in just in the middle of the small village and had an excellent view of the square. We would love to go back some day.

Erholung pur in einer sehr alten und wunderschönen Stadt

Perfekte Lage im Ortskern, alles sehr sauber sowie sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Tolles Frühstück mit grosser Auswahl an Wurst Marmelade Käse Brot und Brötchen und vieles mehr.

Da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden alles war sehr schön, ist eine tolle Mittelalter Stadt

Rundum gelungen, da wir etwas Ruhe und frische Luft suchten.

Das Zimmer war schön groß. Bad mit Badewanne ebenso. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal aufmerksam. Der Wellnessbereich hat die Erwartung übertroffen. Das Personal an der Rezeption hat Fragen ausführlich beantwortet und war sehr freundlich.

Leider hat das Restaurant häufig wegen Personalmangel abends geschlossen. Das soll keine negative Bewertung sein, da man dort nicht mit dem Problem allein dasteht. Nur sehr schade. Wünsche den Betreibern viel Erfolg bei der Personalsuche.

Comfortable hotel in charming town.

Old fashioned style, with enough space. Clean and comfortable, with a good bathroom, in more modern style. The town is lovely to walk around in, a museum in itself. Good breakfast, with plenty of choice.

Lighting, particularly for reading, was limited. There was a fan, but it couldn't compensate for the extreme heat, but weather is not controllable.

Cozy Stay in Little Town

Stolberg is a nice little town to visit and location of hotel is almost at mid-point of town. The room was good and clean. The staff at reception were really nice, welcoming, and helpful.

Breakfast was handled poorly during COVID situation. I understand this is highly relative, but I just saw a bunch of disposable gloves there for people to wear; no one was making sure those were used and all the food were placed in open containers with no lid. We just had some tea on the second day and took our breakfast elsewhere. This was not the case for other meals (lunch and dinner) though.

Good

- Very good location in the heart of the town. - Good breakfast, we missed just one thing (see below). - Very good steam and finnish sauna. We also liked the foot bath. - It was easy to park behind the building. - The room was very silent (some of the rooms may be noisy due to the church bell nearby) - The fridge was very good. - Everything was very clean. - Friendly staff

- Lack of lactose free milk at breakfast. It was impossible to drink lactose free latte in the morning in other cafes either. - I didn't get the concept of the pool. It is small for swimming and cold for being there for too long (less than 30 degrees). - The room was a bit old fashioned. We had to open the window several times to refresh the stuffy air from the used towels after the sauna. - The pillow was big and uncomfortable for us. - The dinner was rather average, we liked another one close by much better.

Great hotel, but breakfast details disappointing.

Very nice wellness and swimming pool area open until 22.

Breakfast not very well Corona secured. No disinfection fluid available at the buffet, and everybody used same tools for grabbing the food. Coffee not included in the breakfast, so we paid ekstra for two coffee!
