Absolutely fantastic with the perfect view

Very clean premises the staff are very bubbly and friendly very helpful the room was very clean and warm bathroom was very clean the breakfast was lovely lots of variety and lovely staff in the restaurant

Would highly recommend for a family trip. Staff were so friendly. Location quiet. Great nights sleep. Lots of transport

Very friendly staff. Nice quiet location away from the busy city centre but served by 2 tube lines. A pool was just a fantastic facility to have after a long day sight seeing. The breakfast was beautiful. Spacious, modern rooms. Hotels in London are all very expensive, so comparing to others, this was excellent value for money.

Very Good Hotel in Docklands

Hotel on the outskirts of London but in 15 minutes you can get to the center by metro. Very nice and clean, traditional English breakfast. I wanted to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the girls at the reception, especially Vivien and Lilia, who resolved everything for us very quickly and with excellent attention. It's good that the chain has employees like that.

We had a problem with the heating and the staff reacted quickly…unable to resolve so moved us to another without hesitat

Enjoyable but just needed heating to work upon arrival, to avoid delay in plans.

Modern, clean, separate steam room for male and females.

The rooms were cold and took hours to heat up. Brought my 1 year old son for his birthday to use the pool, so having a cold room was not ideal.

I have been visiting the Crown Plaza for over 25 years. I think the renovated restaurant works well - although I feel some of the new staff requires further training. Services exceptional - keep up the good work

Very little to say negative - the only issue was some of the new restaurant staff require training.

Charged twice, don’t pay on booking.com

Nothing

I have been charged twice at this hotel and had no response when trying to phone and message. Booking.com charged me when I booked and the when arriving at the hotel the receptionist insisted I had to pay again. Ridiculous would never stay here again.

So close to excel - room was lovely and big and clean had a lovely shower over bath. Really comfortable beds.

Perfect for London international

Staff were great, especially Vivienne! The location is perfect for the excel exhibition centre and the breakfast is the best we have had in a long time in any hotel! We will definitely book again Thank you

Excellent location for Excel Centre shows and cable car to O2

This hotel is brilliant for visiting the Excel Centre. We have stayed several times and everyone from the Manager, reception, and cleaners are very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was really lovely and staff were so polite when we were being shown to our table. All the staff in the restaurant excelled in customer service and should really be commended for this. We've stayed in many IHG hotels and all the staff are extremely polite and well-mannered. Room was great for 2 adults and our daughter as we had x 2 double beds in the room. We had an evening meal at the hotel which was also excellent food and service.

Not great service and silly rules that make price much more hidden costs

It was clean and well signed.

Room wasn’t ready when we turned up. Yes it was late at 10.46 but more to the point that we needed it. We had paid and expected it ready and music blasting too for the first hour and we booked a family room. Paid for a family room then had to pay extra for breakfasts, crazy ! Breakfast average

Extremely disappointed, no compensation offered

Spa. I and several other people whilst there were complaining about the hot tub being cold. Also, the swimming pool was cold. The receptionist on the spa did not seem to care. This was an issue for me as I had gone to this hotel to use the spa facilities rather than choose a different hotel.

The hotel is in a great location for city airport however, if you’re going to have a spa day think again.

An ideal place from which to visit and explore Central London.

Comfortable Hotel in lovely area. The staff member Nina who checked us in was exceptional. We arrived after midnight and she was so kind and helpful to us and didn't keep us waiting. Very friendly staff in general.

Excellent facilities, location and staff !

Excellent location, good quality and cleanliness with great facilities just a few minutes walk from the Excel arena. All of this is matched by the brilliant staff who are warm, friendly and helpful.

Not our best experience

Staff were friendly and helpful in trying to fix us a room.

Checked in at 8.45pm only to walk into an occupied room. Spent more than half an hour (albeit with a complementary drink) waiting in the bar while they tried to find us a room. We'd already been told they were full. Eventually checked into a room on the 6th floor that was freezing. The window had been left open - presumably to try and clear the smell of weed. Having waited that long already we stayed there.

Wonderful Stay , Peaceful yet central hotel with lovely staff and spacious comfy rooms

The whole hotel was spotless. The staff were so helpful and lovely from sitting all 10 of us together at breakfast to giving us a can of water to take to bed when we came in from our event at the excel. It was decorated beautifully for christmas as well.

Location for me was good and near the tube station. Rooms are good. Breakfast was good but there was no variation.

Great hotel

Very good hotel, clean and quiet. We had a great time there! The breakfast was very nice, the room was big enough and warm, the bed was comfortable, daily cleaning, clean towels, etc. The location was also good, a little bit far from city center but there are tube and DLR stations nearby.

The size of the beds in the rooms, breakfast was good. staff nice

The floor in the bathroom was very dirty. the grout in the tiles looked filthy. Around the sink had ring marks. There was black mould in the silicone around the bath.
