Super friendly.

Disabled bedroom good size and great bed.All of the staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us.Pub was also very lively and friendly.Breakfast and evening meal both vg . Recommended.

Bathroom needs a shelf installed.Only 1 armchair in the bedroom. Sort these and would deserve 10 out if 10.

Luxurious decor throughout, clean comfortable rooms. Fantastic breakfasts with fresh ingredients. Friendly, helpful staff.

Good access to train station and buses into London

Lovely furnishings and comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast.

Not enough sachets of coffees and herbal tea choices in the room. No grapefruit juice or yoghurt/ fruit provided for breakfast.

A very pleasant little hotel - we would stay here again

Room well furnished and peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good - we ate there when we arrived and breakfasted there 3 times. Breakfast was prepared and served (not a buffet type) and it was good thick toast.

Cobwebs on the ceiling and spider in the bath! Room was a little warm for my preference but the windows opened onto a quiet street which made it more comfortable. Bed very soft - again it's a preference thing rather than anything - as I prefer a firmer mattress. There's a green light that burns all night and that woke me several times, I think it may be a safety feature but it was right above the bed and I am a 'blackout' sleeper.

Highly recommended

Breakfast excellent, lots of choices, well cooked and very tasty. Service very good, staff friendly and helpful. Could not fault room.

We were in Chislehurst for a family funeral

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped us with late check- in, breakfast and storing our luggage while we went out and about in the area.

We needed accomodation a short drive from Shadwell but outside the ULEZ - the Crown was a great find

Very well appointed room in a very nice pub. Really nice guest beer. Good, powerful shower

The cleanliness could have been a little better. Breakfast was really good, but everything had to be ordered - its a long time since I stayed in a hotel without a buffet tabe for breakfast. Having said that, they were very helpful and brought everything we asked for. The car park was full but this was not a problem as we could park on the road.

Well positioned for access to London within 30mins by train and regular trains every few minutes.

Room was very comfortable and very clean, it was nice and quiet. Dinner was very good the food very nice. Breakfast was excellent and a good choice on the menu. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Parking was nice and easy with car park or ample street parking.

The only small problem was the bar is very busy in the evening so that when you are in the restaurant the noise level is such that conversation was difficult, however, menu, food and service were all good.
